UPDATE 3 OUT NOW!
Hey all!
We’re very excited to announce that Rover Builder’s third major update is live right now! Update three brings a slew of new features, fixes, and levels. See below for a full breakdown!
Major additions/updates:
• 6 brand new levels added
 • A new sculptable sand object in the level editor + a cactus model and a new large rock model
 • Track wheels + tracks: a new part that makes it possible to make tank-style vehicles. Tracks operate much better on sand compared to regular wheels
 • A water gun: a new weapon that sprays water, suitable for close combat. Can pop incoming water balloons for defense purposes.
 • Water rocket: a new tool/weapon. In rocket mode, it produces thrust (for a little while, it has limited fuel) and enables short hops and/or acceleration boosts. In weapon, mode acts as a single-use rocket launcher that will explode when hitting something.
 • A duplicate tool for rover/level editors: Alt+drag now duplicates and moves the selection. In the rover editor Split/Join is renamed to Cut/Join and works with the C key (previously Alt)
 • Move tool refactor: it's now possible to move only selected parts, compared to before when it always moved everything that's connected to the moving part.
 • Steam achievements: There are now many achievements based on statistics about the gameplay. More will be added in future updates.
Minor updates/fixes:
• Wheels now take their orientation based on the building area, not the beam it's attached to
 • Level details now have info about the number of objects, vertices, etc.
 • An objective text is now displayed at the beginning of each mission (in the top bar)
 • Bug and performance fixes

Patch Notes: Level Editor update

Hey everyone,

A small patch has been implemented with the following changes:

- Active mesh triangulation when moving faces/vertices
- Pressing Alt while moving faces/vertices or drawing elevation/grass objects will now snap to a global grid (easy geometric shapes etc). The grid step has been halved to make it more useful
- Camera toggle action added to the rovers
- When merging vertices by ctrl-snapping they will now be actually merged into 1 vertex instead of just being 2 vertices in the same location

Our next Rover tutorial will be with you soon. Till then, keep sharing your creations with us, we love to see them.

Terraforma Update - Out Now!
Hey Builders!
We are so happy to finally bring you the Rover Builder: Terraforma update. Check out the trailer with the new features below:

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

We have already teased and showcased a bunch of new content you are getting with this patch - so we can't wait to see what you do with all these new tools at your disposal! The biggest edition is of course Level Editor - where you can build fully playable maps and missions from scratch - using all of the tools we used to create the missions that are already in-game. We also have a batch of new levels and missions available to play. Terraforma is our biggest update yet - so make sure to tag @RoverBuilder on Twitter so we can see all your new creations - go get building!

We plan to continually add to this list of new features as we continue in early access - with more editing and building options, more tools, parts and objects available to you. This is only the beginning.
