of Prosaic. (doubles mana cost)
Redesigned Altar of Power to triple
monster mana.
Reduced Altar of Mortality from 100% to
50%. (monsters no longer receive 25%
extra damage)
Removed damage reduction from Altar of
Bone.
Reduced Altar of Height's damage
reduction from 50% to 25%.
Reduced Altar of Weakness from 50% to
33%.
Reduced Altar of Misfortune's critical
chance from 25% to 10%.
Removed critical chance from Altar of
Sight.
Increased health from leveling by 7%.
Increased attack from leveling by 80%.
Increased magic from leveling by 12.5%.

Bosses give 20% less experience.

Misc:
Fixed Altar of Attrition from increasing health
regen instead of lowering it.
Fixed Altar of Mortality from doubling enemy

Dev Note: While planning future content, and
looking at a post where someone reasonably
confused hidden exp thresholds with a bug, exp
changes were made.

Early levels are easier to obtain, later levels
are harder to obtain, softcap exp thresholds
have been removed entirely, and each level now
gives more stats.

Balancing:
Reduced summoning fatigue by 20%.
Reduced mana to numerous enemies by 50-66%.
Greatly reduced NG+ stat debuff on Golem
and Ghostship.

Misc:
Fixed multiplication issue inside of status
infliction formula.
Reduced overall weight of status infliction
formula by 20%.
Fixed Golem and Ghostship from having
permanent CF debuffs. (old saves will require
entering and exiting of cosmic color)
Fixed negative display issue when removing
too many ghosts.
Slightly improved performance by compressing
various images.

New Features:
Created golem cores for metal, psychic,
silicon, acid, arcane, entropy, and
expression.

Balancing:
Cursed Souls is now less likely to cast
sleep.
Cursed Souls is now able to panic from
extreme light.
Increased random loot quality of rare
rooms by 25%.
Lowered base odds of higher tier rooms
from appearing.
Lowered base odds of alternate hallways
from appearing.
Halved the influence of tech level on
alternate hallway chance.
Doubled the influence of distance on
alternate hallway chance.

Misc:
AP building, Talent building, and Cosmic
building now operate with decimals inside
their calculations. (the lack of decimals
was causing progress to remain at 0% if it
was checked too often) (other buildings
currently operate without decimals)
Fixed debug message from appearing when
entering hotel rooms.
Fixed Rakenzie music inside of Poetry
of Bloods.

9.14 Rare Rooms

New Features:
Rare Rooms added to Infinite Hotel.
(room chance is affected by hotel level,
art level, difficulty, NG+, and distance
traveled)
Basic hallways now have a rare chance to
spawn an enemy. (spawn chance is
increased by distance, and slightly
reduced by hotel level)

Balancing:
Hotel level now directly affects hotel
loot quality. (before, was only chance
of chests showing up)
Greatly expanded loot limit quality to
Infinite Hotel.
Doubled weight of Hotel level on rare
hallways.
Increased chance of rare hotel hallways
when Hotel level is 0. (the first hotel
level is worth 10 in the formula)
Doubled weight of Hotel level on Hotel
Tech Doors.
Art level now has a minor influence on
Hotel Tech Doors.
Slightly slowed down art house growth
rate.

Misc:
Fixed Expression damage from being
additive with arthouse instead of
multiplicative.
Fixed formula description to Arcane
spells.
