Update 0.13.0

At 0.13.0 f3
Bug fixed: Entering the option page cause the game to freeze.
Bug fixed: Magic Spiky Rock at LV3 has too little damage.
Bug fixed: Rune Stones can be used to charge magic even when it is not active.


These features has gradually been pushed during past few months.

Boss [Fortress Guardian] added. Once defeated it gives you a magic book of [Petrification].
New Maigic [Petrification]. It can turn a creature into a stone statue that can be digged into collectable item, or later dispetrify back into a living creature.
New Placement [Iron Door]
New Placement [Pendulum Clock], tells the time of the day.
New Placement [Calendar], tells how many days you have spent in this world.
New Wall [Iron Fence].
Start Interface has a new design.

Alpaca kept in a [Stable] will slowly recover its HP
This update may cause some mud walls to be undiggable. You can use command "wall.erase" to clear out the wall.

Now you can customize your character's hair color when creating new character.
Add player chat bubble.
[Wooden Fence] is moved to wall layer and has a new look.
It is now possible to place transparent walls like [Glass Wall] underground.
Add several predefined structures like a deserted village and ancient ruins in map generation.

Bug Fixed: Sometimes your alpaca kept in a [Stable] get lost.


As the chance for a rain to come is low, if you are very eager to see it, use command "event.start 500103" to summon a rain.
This update may cause placements as [Crating Table], [Furnace], [Alchemy Table] firstly created at an old version be lost. You may need to craft them again.
If there is an empty tile on which you can not place any other tile, point your mouse cursor at it and type in command "tile.erase" at Console to clear it.


ABOUT WHY THIS TIME TOOK SO LONG
Actually, the development for this game has already been suspended and our team has been assigned other tasks to do, mainly to assist in the development of other projects by our publisher. We are still able to work on Alchemage, but we can only do this during the breaks of our assigned jobs, for the last couple of months. That means later update period for Alchemage is uncertain. It is sad that it turned out like this after so many efforts we put into this game, but we are not yet giving up on it.

0.10.0 Update

New placement [Bookshelf]. You can put a book or a scroll in it.
New placement [Barn Door]. It is a biggerl door so that alpacas can pass by.
New placement [Wooden Stool].
New placement [Enchantment Table].
New placement [Sign]. You can write text on it.
New placement [Recharge Stone]. A replacement for previous rune stones to provide limited amount of magic energy from time to time.
New item [Magic Book], a way to share magic with your friend. Can be made by putting an empty book and a magic into [Enchantment Table].
New item [Magic Scroll]. You can store your magic energy into it. Can be made by putting an empty scroll and a magic into [Enchantment Table].
Quest System added along with 5 initial quests, replacing the old tasks.

Rune stones no longer drop theirselves when digged. Instead, they drop [Rune Stone Fragment], with which you can make other magic devices at [Crafting Table].
The function for resetting respawn point has been moved from [Bed] to [Stone of Recall], which can now be crafted at [Crafting Table].
Now, when interact with [Bed], your character will lie down on it and receive a buff that slowly recovers your HP.
Items in the crafting menu have been reordered based on game progress and importance.
Add an option to turn on cursor lock when digging.
Player character will automatically switch to another proper equipment from inventory when current one runs out of durability and breaks
The moon now will change in phase.
Text rendering improved.
Wraith now has a skill to summon skeletons. When killed, Wraith will drop a magic book that records its skill at low change.

0.9.0 Update

New equipment [Iron Helmet]
New equipment [Beekeeper Suit] and [Beekeeper Helmet]. Together they keep you from being attacked by Bees
New placement [Candlestick]
New placement [Dinner Plate]. You can put food and potions on it.
New placement [Stable]. You can keep your alpacas in it

One new hairstyle for both male and female character
The items you throw out will inherit your current velocity. So you can run up to throw items farther
Now you can interact with furnitures like sitting on a chair or sofa
Dark Alpaca Rider will left his Dark Alpaca behind at a low chance when killed
Improve VFX for magic Shattering Rock
When riding Dark Alpaca, you can perform a Blink when start running
Some creatures now will attack each other. So it is possible for you to make use of it. For instance, plant some Spirit Lair around your house and have Tree Spirits defend your home against Ghouls and Skeletons.
Lighting intensity clamping. Now the scene will not be bright out even when you place a lot of light sources together
Minimap now can be expanded. When it is expanded, You can scroll over to view the whole map. In multiplayer, you can see other players' position on the minimap.

0.8.0 Update: Alchemy System Improved

New block [Beehive Block]. Can be found at Jungle Biome
New creature [Bee]. Can be found near [Beehive Block]
New placement [Bathtub]
New placement [Candle]
New equipment [Frog Suit], [Frog Hood]. Together they help you jump higher and keep you from being attacked by jungle frogs

Equipment mechanism twiked. Now equipments no longer provide extra HP. Instead, they take some of the damage for you and consume durability base on the amount of damage taken.
Throwing system improved. Press and hold left mouse button to throw a throwable item.
Platform and stairs mechanism improved. Previously platforms had been too easy to become stairs. Now they are more aware of the situation when they should become stairs or stay as platforms. And you can manually tweak platforms' state by [R] key.
Alchemy system improved. Now alchemy products will give hints about how they can be made in their item description. Alchemy ingredients will give hint about their property in alchemy in highlighted keywords. Alchemy products can be further used as alchemy ingredient to made more advanced items.
A New Alchemy Catalog interface which shows all the alchemy products you have ever founded. Turn it on by press [N] key and select the second tab.
A lot of new alchemy ingrediants and products added.
There are REAL chests that contains loots scattered around the underground world.
