Pre-Alpha is over!

Zeal’s Pre-Alpha Phase is officially concluded.

We have gathered a lot of valuable feedback during the past months and we are now confident about the future of Zeal.

First of all, we're going to improve the combat — make it more dynamic, more about avoiding damage and landing skillshots, less about cooldowns and crowd control.
Though the amount of active abilities will be decreased, they will become more impactful and their cooldowns will be reduced.
Harder to land abilities will be more rewarding, and you won't need your CC cooldowns (like Flash Freeze) to deal some damage.

Our main goal is to allow 1v2 and even 1v3 if you're lucky enough, without relying on long cooldowns or CC.

Patch Notes 0.4.13

General

— Casters and Ranger now have 13000 Health.
— All casts that were 1.1 or 1.2 seconds are now 1.0 second.
— GCD reduced from 0.75 to 0.70 seconds.

Conquest

— Conquest is now played as 10 teams of 2.
— Conquest is now always available and starts automatically after maximum 10 minutes of waiting. Empty slots are filled with bots.
— If you queue solo, you’ll get a bot who will follow and assist you
— Bot teammates will pick up items only if they think you don’t need them. To force them to get an item, loot it and drop back to the ground.
— Experience is now shared to all team members within 50 meters.
— All NPCs now have more health and deal more damage.
— Poisonous Spider’s poison now can be dispelled (as Poison).
— Call Help now pulls up to 2 NPCs of the same type (was unlimited).
— Last Stand now can be broken by defense breaking abilities.
— Enrage is now instant and has a visual effect.

Known issues

— The conquest map is being reworked and is not finished yet. Some areas might look weird or empty. Also, NPCs are still placed randomly.

Bugs

— Points previously put into Swiftness are now available again.
— Secondary resource is now correctly consumed when a cast is finished.
— Wizard’s Energy Lash now correctly hits to the direction of the camera, not the direction of the character.
— Now you can’t jump on small NPCs like crabs or spiders.

Cleric

— Divine Prayer removed.
— Light Spike now restores 20 Mana.

Patch Notes 0.4.12

General

— Interrupts now interrupt all types of casts with lock duration depending on the type — regular and channeled casts: 3s, holdable and chargeable casts: 1.5s
— Getting interrupted now also locks primary weapon ability
— Client now correctly updates tooltips when data is changed on the server.
— Swiftness removed from Stat Allocation.
— GCD reduced from 0.8 to 0.75 seconds.

Conquest

— Experience orbs now restore 10% health over 5 seconds, not stacking (was 5% instantly).

Warrior

— Steelwake stamina cost reduced from 20 to 15 per tick. New symbols added.

Wizard

— Energy Lash now has a correct 120° hit sector (was 360°).
— The Arctic Call now replaces Flash Freeze on procs (temporarily).

Outlaw

— Stab no longer deals bonus damage from behind or to stunned targets. Instead, it’s now a passive effect of Daggers, working with every melee attack.

Judicator

— Righteous Strike and Righteous Smash damage increased.
— Guiding Light is now a symbol of Piercing Beam.
— Benevolence is now a symbol of Healing Light and doesn’t work with Purification.
— Avatar of Divinity no longer passively increases damage.
— Miracle of God is now a symbol of Purification and doesn’t proc from Sacred Lightning.
— Hammer Time is now a passive effect of Heavy Mace and gives 50% Armor Penetration, damage bonus removed.
— Healing Light healing increased from 770 to 900

Cleric

— Grace no longer additionally heals the Cleric and has a 6 second cooldown with 3 charges. Healing increased from 800 to 1000.
— Battle Hymn removed.
