[New build - DEFAULT] 22w02a: Bounty Hunting Missions

Bounty Hunting missions have been added to the game.

  • They spawn at the mission boards at regular interval.
  • For now if you want to see a difficulty rating you need to dock your ship at the station
  • They will pay a cash reward.
  • Upgrade Chips rewards are given to the ship the player is currently flying or last flown
  • A new Weapon Score have been introduced. Fow now it is simply the power required by weapons divided by 10.
  • More pirate ships have been added! Thanks to all the builders.
  • Mission text is procedural.
  • Foe name are also procedural.
  • Mission are available for around 20min, but once you start it there is no time limit (yet)
  • Escape Pods (thanks to the builder Smets) are being spawned in the world and are being used a Point of Interest for the mission.


Still Wip or to-do:
  • Save mission state
  • Assign target in a different system
  • Assign several targets
  • Give several locations to check
  • Functional reputation system
  • Add more variety for the Point of Interest.

[New build - DEFAULT] 22w01a: Various Features

Hotfixes build with a few new features. Happy new year to all the players!

New Features:
  • Missions: It is now possible to view the list of current missions into the new Mission Tab from the Codex.
  • Missions: Untracking and tracking will hide and restore all hud information.
  • Tutorial: It is now also possible to cancel the starting tutorial.
  • Tutorial: New welcome message with a few instructions.
  • NPCs: A basic collision avoidance behaviour was added.
  • Player Customization: a preview of the player was added.
  • Player Customization: Alien race now have a proper name. You can suggest better names as those are still wip!

  • #4406 Large link network can make the game freeze.
  • #4385 Prefab thumbnail not showing.
  • #4405 Docking on children entity was not working correctly.

[New build - DEFAULT] 21w52a: Hotfixes

Teleport have been improved with better name and no dummy spawn point if actual teleport station exists on the entity.
It is now possible to pick a brick on an item stand by look at the brick itself.
Tutorial: A waypoint has been added on the hatch button.

Hotfixes:
  • #4399 #4397 #4396 Symmetry rotation can break game.
  • It is possible to enter a yoke placed on an item stand.
  • Some NPCs were inactive.

[New build - DEFAULT] 21w51b: Post-tutorial guidelines

Better guidance is now provided to newcomers once they finish the tutorial.
An help screen will guide them through the creative possibilities the game has to offer.
It is now possible to teleport from any position to the starting station and to the new Torus hovercraft platform.

Hotfixes:
  • #4387 Some systems other than the starting one might have trouble to load.
  • #4390 Some event gates are not working properly after an blueprint load
