Glimmer Pteranodon: Video Event!

We have a community-wide announcement to make. We are hosting a YouTube video event for our new Pteranodon that will last until June 30th. Between now and the end of the last day of June, participants in the event must create a video involving our Pteranodon and post it onto YouTube. Once they have done so, we will also be linking the video in our youtube_and_streams channel! It is a goal of ours with this patch to raise our game’s YouTube coverage through hosting this event. If you have a video to submit, make sure to contact me or another member of our staff through discord to let us know!
Join our Official Discord!

The video can be as long or short as the applicant wants. It can be about any topic they wish, so long as it involves our new Pteranodon in some significant way. The video could be a PvP montage, a gameplay guide, a scenic flight of some kind, or anything you can think of. If you have any questions about the viability of a video idea, feel free to ask!

One Pteranodon skin, made by Twilightwolf , has been created but was left out of the patch that deployed last night. It is, indeed, a bioluminescent glimmer skin. As many of you know, some animals have glimmer skins that were granted to people who donated towards our project prior to our Steam release. We now offer a chance for everybody to obtain the Phantom Glimmer Pteranodon skin! This skin will only be obtainable through this event. It will never be available again.
When the event has concluded, we will be judging the videos. The videos will be judged more on effort put into the video and the content itself, rather than things outside the participant’s control, such as YouTube subscriber count, access to high-end editing software, or having a lower-end PC.

Our judging of the event submissions is primarily to filter out extremely low-quality videos and to ensure effort is applied to the submissions. For example, putting 25 minutes of unedited, raw gameplay footage on YouTube will not grant a participant the Phantom Gimmer skin. If we receive a high volume of good-quality submissions, we will be awarding many participants with our skin. Our primary goal here is to spread news of our patch out onto social media, in part through this event, and we have no concern over awarding many people if turnout and video quality is excellent. This is an event, not a contest!

I now present some images of the Phantom Glimmer Pteranodon.
It is fully customizable.

(Steam won't let us upload this image for some reason, just click the link to see the backside of the Pteranodon!)

Quick Contest FAQ:
When is the event over?
-June 30th, at 11:59 PM.
What are the content guidelines?
-It's very open, the only requirement is that you make video showcasing our new pteranodon model as the main highlight. Video can be any length, we judge based on effort/quality.
Pvp, documentary, a guide, all genre are welcome!
Can I collaborate with others to create and submit videos?
-Yes. We are willing to award up to two Phantom Glimmer Pteranodon skins per submission, as long as both people were involved in creating the video.
What if I want to make a video with many participants?
-If you create a video with many players taking part, we are willing to award non-bioluminescent versions of the Phantom Pteranodon skin to all that partook in the creation and filming of the video.
Where do I submit my Video?
-Once you have finished and uploaded your video: you will need to join our Official Discord, and send the link to your video submission to a developer. We will then post it for you in our Youtube Section on Discord (with your permission) for all to see!

For all videos submissions please make a list of your participants (including their steam IDs), to make awarding skins easier.

Introducing: Saichania

We're proud to show off our newest completed dinosaur model, made by Manuelsaurus! Welcome Saichania, an armored herbivore donated generously by Howdn!

Mini Hotfix

We're deploying a small hotfix that fixes the issues with food values saving or being set properly. Predatoria has gone ahead and updated all the servers!

Also, commands that need other player names or IDs (such as setgrowthlevel) should now work properly!

Hotfix Patch

Sorry for the delay the last few days regarding the mini patches, for those curious, they were attempts to fix the crashes.
We're deploying another patch that was previously supposed to be another crash fix, but we ended up adding several bug fixes and balance changes to the patch as well.
Here are the notes:

Added Skins:
-Blue Whale Elasmo by BananaBae & Mugman
-Death Mosa by Misha & BananaBae (redone files hopefully don't cause crashes like before)
-Bearded Mosa by TwilightWolf

+Asphyxiation now causes you to subtract a percentage of the other player's breath bar, rather than a fixed value.
+Significantly reduced the time requirements to acquire enemy status with other, nearby players that induce stress
-This is to combat mixed packing issues we've seen on some of our servers
+Reduced the amount of speed the Swift Flippered talent grants to improving Kronosaurus' lunge.
+Kronosaurus lunge now consumes both stamina and ability power, with the stamina consumption equating to 50% of the ability power consumption
+Mosasaurus swimming walk speed is now 800, down from 900
+Elasmosaurus swimming sprint speed is now 1750, up from 1700
