Dear players, hello!

Thank you for your continued support and patience. Here are all the details of this update:

New Features:
  • Added support for additional languages: Russian, German, Spanish (Spain), Portuguese (Brazil), Korean, French, Japanese, and Polish.

  • In MOD Editor mode, a “Change Character” button has been added under the “Developer Tools” tab. You can now switch characters directly within the editor to test your custom player characters more easily.


Adjustments:
  • Fixed a bug where the killing blow would not trigger “On Hit” effects from equipment.

  • Adjusted insect spawning mechanics on the surface—small insects are now easier to find.

  • Fixed a bug where Ground Soldiers could incorrectly spawn in Ancient Ruins.

  • The Flux Beetle’s projectiles no longer auto-target livestock.

  • Fixed an issue where the Goblin Rider had incorrect attack damage.

  • Fixed a bug where newly joining players in multiplayer could cause some triggered effects to stop working for existing players.

  • Slightly increased durability for all Dagger-type weapons.

  • Fixed a bug where Drill-type weapons could remain stuck in an attacking state.

  • Fixed incorrect visual layering for some ground-deployed skills.

  • Adjusted hitboxes for Infusion Furnace and Reforging Furnace to match their visual size.

  • Fixed an issue where lighting colors stretched or shifted on non-16:9 resolutions.

  • Corrected the description of Bloodsucking Flies Petri Dish to match its actual effect.

  • Increased the base flying speed of the Modified Detector for faster item pickup.

  • Adjusted the Politician DNA module: the facility usage fee charged to shelter residents is now +25% (was +50%).

  • Buffed the following skills: Master’s Sword, Flame Javelin, Plasma Spores, Micro Black Hole.

  • Nerfed the skill: Energy Burst Ball.


Fixes:
  1. Optimized map loading and refresh logic to reduce stuttering during exploration.

  2. Improved the targeting behavior of Meco Mini Laser Turret and Parasytor Paw to reduce performance issues when many are built.

  3. Parasytor Paw no longer accidentally damages players.

  4. Improved pathfinding checks for monsters to enhance performance.

  5. Optimized performance in bases with a large number of livestock.

  6. Improved the spawning logic of Fake Tunnels to reduce lag when spawning many monsters.

  7. Fixed Meco Mini Laser Turret’s idle rotation speed being affected by framerate.

  8. Optimized performance when a large number of damage numbers appear.

Dear players, hello!

We apologize for the wait. Here are all the details of this update:

New Features:
  • Added “Item Archives” and “Creature Archives” features in the game. Players can find these two tabs in the “Clues & Achievements” page, where they can learn about item acquisition methods, monster spawn locations, and pet stat ranges.

  • Introduced the initial framework for the Adventure Script (quest system). The MOD editor now allows players to try creating quests in the game.

  • Added a new energy weapon – Flux Beetle, which can be obtained through “Insect Catching” (this bug spawns on the surface, and when caught, drops this weapon). Additionally, both the “Sawblade Whale” from fishing and the “Flux Beetle” from catching insects can now have weapon affixes.

  • Now, when making a Replica in Schip's Lab, players can refresh the Replica body using Tenergy Shards.

  • Now, when defeating a Boss in Hard mode maps, the corresponding Statue loot (placeable item) will drop.

  • Added two new accessories to Drenian’s chests:

    1. Fishing Fortune Rune Stone: 20% chance to double the item yields while fishing.

    2. Fake Bait: Increases fishing efficiency by 20%.

  • Added two new accessories to Grounder’s chests:

    1. Amber Energy Battery: Increases all skill direct damage by 50%.

    2. Kinetic Conversion Device: When landing a melee attack, increases defense by 5%, stacking up to 50% (10 layers), lasting for 5 seconds.


Adjustments:
  • Adjusted the amount of currency held by all NPC merchants. Now, as the game progresses, the NPC merchants’ currency will increase to better match player needs.


Fixes:
  1. Fixed a bug where clicking exit while in multiplayer could cause the game to freeze.

  2. Increased the probability of the Drenian village appearing in Underground Level 2.

  3. Fixed a bug in the MOD editor where the attack animation speed in the creature attack area would be affected by the game speed in the Developer Tools.

  4. Fixed a bug in the MOD editor where the hitbox position in the creature attack area was slightly out of alignment with the animation.

  5. Fixed a bug where followers and pets could continue following after stepping into a trap (immobilized state).

  6. Fixed a bug where certain items would still show up on the table after being picked up.

  7. Modified the drop list for some Rifter monsters.

  8. Adjusted most skill machines’ values to match the weapon update from the previous version.

  9. Enhanced the effect of the “Pet Treat Pouch” accessory.

  10. Fixed a skill display error related to Coocoo.

  11. Optimized certain skills that caused lag during the Insector Queen and Richard Marko boss fights.

  12. Added defense attributes to all Insector and Meco robotic monsters and reduced their health.

  13. Fixed a bug where accessory effects wouldn't disappear when the accessory was removed.

  14. Fixed a bug where certain skill machines created two skill effect zones after their skill ball hit a wall.

  15. Fixed a bug with the monster spawn limit for Invasion Digging Devices.

  1. Added a new option in the MOD Editor main menu: "Biome Monster Configuration," allowing users to edit monster spawning in different biomes.
  2. Added missing texts and translations.
  3. To avoid confusion, "Prison Capsule" has been renamed to "Creature Capsule." The description has been changed from "Caution! An extremely dangerous creature is being held in this capsule. DO NOT OPEN IT!" to "Through the capsule, you catch a glimpse of the creature inside, quietly curled up, as if awaiting some kind of arrangement." A new hint has also been added: "Unleash it to become its master!"

  3. Fixed an issue where loading multiple mods that modify the same crafting table would result in only one mod's crafting list being applied.
  4. Fixed an issue where after saving and exiting from the "MOD Editor (Beta)" game mode to the main menu, the active mod list would display incorrectly in the "Workshop" interface.
  5. Fixed an issue where adjusting the game speed in the "MOD Editor (Beta)" mode caused the "double-click to select items" function to stop working.
  6. Corrected a large number of English translation errors within the game.

  3. Fixed the low damage of projectiles for the Drenian Apprentice Oracle and Drenian Oracle Guardian.
  4. Fixed the overly high damage of Throwing Ice Spike.

  6. Attempted to fix the issue of creatures and NPCs duplicating (uncertain if fully fixed, hoping this resolves it).
  7. Renamed the Ancient Spatula to Ancient Cleaver and updated the item icon and weapon texture.

  4. Significantly increased the drop rate of items from wild Glacial Bladegrass.
  5. Fixed an issue where Goblin Spears could not be crafted with prefixes.
  6. Corrected the translation error in the English description of Insector Sword Wave, Insector Spear Wave, and Insector Dagger Wave that incorrectly mentioned "deducting player health" (these weapons do not actually deduct player health).

  1. Fixed an issue where weapons placed in pet storage or equipped on replicas would have incorrect attributes after exiting and re-entering the game.
  2. Fixed an issue where the pet ability for the White Tiger was incorrect after taming it.
  3. Fixed an issue with the MOD editor where the description text length was too limited.
  4. Now, when uploading/updating a MOD via the MOD editor, the MOD will retain the visibility status set on the Workshop page, instead of defaulting to hidden every time (The first upload to the Workshop will still be set to hidden and will require manual change to public).

  1. Fixed an issue where players could not benefit from aura effects in multiplayer.
  2. Fixed a code error that occurred when players were hit in multiplayer games.
  3. Fixed an issue where pets and replicas would move to the monster's death location after killing it.
  4. Fixed an issue where using the Nightmare Killer in the battle against Marco could cause abnormal knockback when the whirlwind slash was triggered, sending the player far away.
  5. Fixed an issue where replicas using ranged weapons only dealt bullet damage without adding weapon damage (Tenergy weapons had no damage at all).
  6. Fixed an issue where the combo effect of the Meco Tenergy Dagger did not apply to weapon energy waves.
  7. Fixed a texture inversion issue with the Divil Nemesis pistols during shooting.
  8. Fixed a configuration error with the paralysis effect of the Parasect Spear, which caused confusion in boss skill logic.

  1. MOD preview images are subject to Steam's size limit (no larger than 1MB). If the preview image is too large, the MOD upload may fail. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.   2. Fixed an issue where updating an already uploaded MOD could create a new MOD on Steam Workshop.
  3. Adjusted the layering relationship between certain UI panels in the map editing interface.

  3. Fixed an issue with the attack speed configuration for the Ancient Golf Club.
  4. Fixed an issue where melee weapon energy waves could not critically hit, trigger the Kidney Strike's double damage, or activate the Explosive Slash's instant kill effect.
  5. Fixed an issue where melee weapon energy waves could not trigger certain hit effects from gene modules (e.g., bleeding, defense reduction).
  6. Fixed a missing sound effect for the Grounder Samurai Sword's Explosive Slash.
  7. Optimized the UI display for the Infusion Furnace and Reforging Furnace.

  1. Fixed an issue where certain text in the editor could display incorrectly if there were spaces before or after the text.
  2. Fixed an issue where deleting a crafting entry in the workbench configuration did not take effect immediately.
  3. Fixed an issue where plants and rocks could spawn in the rainforest water areas of underground levels 3-5.
  4. Fixed an issue where the War Sword effect could accidentally attack villagers.
  5. Fixed an issue where the Goblin King BOSS’s bow and arrow skill would fail to shoot arrows under certain conditions.
  6. Fixed an issue where the walking hitbox was set incorrectly when editing creatures (including monsters, animals, NPCs, and player characters) in the MOD editor (for already edited creatures, you need to reopen the edit page and click "Save" to fix this issue).
  7. Fixed an issue where silver ore could be found in some chests on underground levels 4-6 (should be iron ore).
  8. Fixed an issue where the Grounder Amber Turret built during a Grounder invasion would drop Goblin Scrap when destroyed.
  9. Baby Beetle, Baby Cockroach, and Baby Fly now have a small chance to spawn in the snowy environments of underground levels 1-2, making it easier to obtain the DNA materials for these three creatures during gameplay.
  10. Fixed an issue where the player's active skills would trigger the "Severe Bleeding" effect.
  11. Fixed an issue where the player's active skills would trigger weapon effects that apply status effects like poison to the target.
  12. Fixed an issue where collected items might disappear when gathering with a Replica.
  13. Fixed an issue where the attribute panel would not update after adding a Gene Module when creating a Replica in multiplayer mode.
  14. Fixed an issue where monster weapons could carry the energy waves of player weapons.
  15. Fixed an issue where using the Reforging Furnace to upgrade weapon quality did not consume materials.
  16. Fixed an issue where the Ore Detector was not functioning.

Hello everyone!

First of all, we want to express our gratitude for your continued understanding and support. Previously, we had to postpone the public test of the MOD editor due to some technical issues. After working diligently over the past few months, we have resolved the critical issues and implemented several updates and optimizations.

We’ve also heard your feedback about the game feeling repetitive. This update not only introduces new content but also includes several changes to existing systems aimed at enhancing the game’s variety and depth. Moving forward, we will continue to focus on addressing this concern, striving to bring you a more engaging experience.

We hope these improvements will make the game more enjoyable for you. Below are the details of this update:

New Features:
  • New In-Game MOD Editor (Beta):

    ① You can now create MODs directly within the game.

    ② You can upload your created MODs to the Steam Workshop from within the game.

    ③ If you are playing multiplayer with MODs, all players must subscribe to the same MODs to ensure a smooth multiplayer experience.

    ④ We will continue to improve and expand the MOD editor based on player feedback, with more new features coming in future updates. Stay tuned!


  • New Enemy Faction: Drenian

    ① The Drenian village only appears on the 2nd underground level.

    ② Use the Gene Sphere dropped by the Drenian Boss to unlock the Drenian Workbench in Schip's Lab's Technology Foundry.

    ③ The Drenian Workbench can craft two important functional workstations: Infusion Furnace and Reforging Furnace.

    ④ The Infusion Furnace can imbue melee weapons (daggers, swords, and spears) with an energy wave effect.

    ⑤ The Reforging Furnace can upgrade both melee and ranged weapons, improving their quality.

    ⑥ A new set of Drenian-specific weapons, accessories, and furniture has been added.


  • New Weapon Traits and Effects:

    ① Each weapon now has its own unique trait, allowing players to choose based on their preferences.

    ② Daggers, swords, and spears can now be imbued with energy waves to extend their attack range.

    ③ As players progress through boss battles, they can unlock five different energy wave effects for melee weapons.

    ④ The Infusion Furnace allows players to switch between different energy wave effects at any time.

    ⑤ New Goblin Melee Weapon: Goblin Spear. Trait: Severe Bleeding. Can be crafted at the Goblin Workbench.

    ⑥ New Insector Melee Weapon: Parasect Dagger. Trait: Infection. Can be crafted at the Insector Fusion Pool.

    ⑦ New Grounder Melee Weapon: Grounder Spear. Trait: Critical Hit. Can be crafted at the Grounder Workbench.

    ⑧ New Melee Weapon: Rift Blade. Trait: Rift Slash. Has a chance to drop from Coopapa.

    ⑨ New Melee Weapon: Sawblade Whale. Traits: Explosive Slash, Active Weapon. Has a chance to be obtained through fishing.


  • New Weapon Upgrade Feature:

    ① Weapons now have quality levels, with similar base attributes within the same quality level.

    ② Almost all weapons in the game can be upgraded in the Reforging Furnace to improve their quality and base attributes.

    ③ Now, you can continue using your favorite weapon until the end of the game by upgrading its quality.

    ④ A new mineral, "Quantum Crystal," has been added as the main material for upgrading weapon quality.


Changes:
  • Underground World Level Adjustments:

    ① The underground world has been changed from one environment every 5 levels to one environment every 3 levels.

    ② The types of monsters in the underground world have been adjusted to gradually appear with each level.

    ③ Goblin Village now only appears on the 3rd underground level.

    ④ Insector Nest now only appears on the 6th underground level.

    ⑤ Grounder Base now only appears on the 9th underground level.

    ⑥ Meco Research Facility now only appears on the 12th underground level.

    ⑦ To ensure that old save files are not affected, the old map retains the original environment settings of one environment every 5 levels, and the boss dungeons are not restricted to specific levels. Additionally, old save files can still benefit from all the new content in this update (For example, the Drenian Village will appear in unexplored areas between underground levels 1-4).


  • Underground Mineral Distribution Adjustments:

    ① Iron ore now appears from the 4th underground level onwards.

    ② Silver ore now appears from the 7th underground level onwards.

    ③ Gold ore now appears from the 10th underground level onwards.

    ④ Adjustments have been made to the types of minerals required for crafting 5.weapons and equipment at certain workstations.


Bug Fixes:
  1. Fixed an issue where the dialogue displayed “Hi!{0}”.

  2. Fixed an issue where Divil would drop her armor (Bosses should only drop special weapons, and armor should be crafted at workstations).

  3. Fixed an issue where the Bloodsucking Flies Petri Dish effect would display incorrectly under certain conditions.

  4. Fixed an issue where the Shadow Beast's Death Breath effect would display incorrectly.

  5. Fixed an issue where the Goblin Fire Trap's “Increase All Damage Taken” effect was not working correctly.

  6. Fixed an issue where the Mutant Parasytor’s skill effects would sometimes fail to display.

  7. Fixed an issue where the Boar King was more interested in bullying small insects than attacking the player. Insects are not supposed to be its enemies.
