Hotfix Now Live – Localization and Save Fixes

[p]Hi Smallfolk,[/p][p]A new hotfix is now live for Smalland: Survive the Wilds! This update focuses on stability improvements, save file fixes, and several bug resolutions.[/p][p]Patch Notes:[/p]
  • [p]Fixed localizations[/p]
  • [p]Prevented ghosts from spawning during world or incubation events[/p]
  • [p]Creatures will no longer aggro incorporeal ghosts[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the save system would save to a character name file rather than the loaded save file[/p]
  • [p]Fixed collision on Granger’s door[/p]
  • [p]Fixed ghost incorporeal text remaining after becoming corporeal[/p]

  • [p]Bat decoration now unlockable[/p]

This spooky celebration brings new improvements to make your adventures even more immersive. Here’s what’s new in Smalland![/p][h2]Halloween Decorations and Encounters[/h2][p]Get into the spirit of the season with all-new Halloween decorations and a new building set. Transform your encampment into a haunted hideaway, and keep an eye out for acorns and candy corn.[/p][p]The veil between the realm of living and the dead has grown thinner. Defeating creatures at night or in Samhain might have unexpected consequences.[/p][p]We won’t spoil all the surprises here. Our Halloween-themed update brings a cauldron full of goodies: new building options, magical spells, handy quality-of-life improvements, and more. We’re even introducing a brand-new spell selector UI, so you can cast your favorite spells with ease.[/p][p]We’re also tinkering with some of your favorite mechanics. Grappling hooks are getting smoother, merchants are getting smarter, and who knows what other surprises await?[/p][p]And speaking of surprises… spooky encounters are creeping their way into Smalland! We don’t want to give too much away just yet, but let’s just say this update is packed with Halloween thrills. Keep your eyes peeled and your torches ready. More details are coming soon![/p][h2]Yuletide Update[/h2][p]Our most recent update invited you to explore the mysterious Underlands, and by the end of the year, our Yuletide update will take your subterranean adventures even further! A brand-new cavern chamber will open up, giving you even more nooks, crannies, and secrets to discover beneath the surface.[/p][p]We’re also giving the existing caverns a little polish, making your journeys underground smoother and more thrilling than ever.[/p][p]And as if that wasn’t enough, the Yuletide update will introduce summoned encounters — mysterious visitors that are sure to keep your adventures lively and unpredictable.[/p][h2]Spring Update[/h2][p]Looking ahead, we’ve got an exciting update planned for this Spring, packed with even more gameplay improvements and exciting additions — but we’re keeping the details under wraps for now![/p][p]As always, a huge thank-you goes out to all of you for your feedback, bug reports, screenshots, and videos. Hotfix: QoL Updates, HUD Improvements & More

[p]Hey Smallfolk,[/p][p]Today’s hotfix adds a number of requested quality-of-life features, HUD updates, and system improvements across the game, alongside bug fixes and balance tweaks.[/p][h3]Hotfix Notes[/h3][p]HUD & Interface[/p]
  • [p]Added mana cost and ammo count display on HUD.[/p]
  • [p]Added follow state and aggression indicators for party on HUD.[/p]
  • [p]Character screen now shows an indicator for unspent attribute points.[/p]
[p]Gameplay & Systems[/p]
  • [p]Added game settings templates/difficulties.[/p]
  • [p]Party member follow state now also toggleable from the Companions menu.[/p]
  • [p]Holding interact/loot now also extracts resources from nodes.[/p]
  • [p]Melee attacks now take player pitch into account.[/p]
  • [p]Harvesting tools now deal an additional random damage.[/p]
  • [p]Mana potions now describe the amount of mana restored.[/p]
  • [p]Increased overall building structural support by 20%.[/p]
  • [p]Added construction plane lock option for easier placement of building parts.[/p]

  • [p]When spawning in a tree encampment (start or respawn), party members now spawn on the platform and remain until called.[/p]
