Hey everyone!

I just want to say thank you for all the fantastic bug reports throughout this update. Things are bound to be missed in a massive update like this one, and I appreciate your patience with us as we do our best to get the kinks ironed out.

We're super lucky to have such a supportive and active community around this project.

New: New quest on Azura
3 new community chests (Hope Harbor, Ramshackle, Farmlands)
Wet effect in water (more uses coming soon)
Hotbar rebind options
Added custom icons for hats and masks
All food have correct icons now (still missing some models)


Improved: Chests now respawn more accurately
Chests are now synced on the server so all players see the same tier
Resources like lavablooms or mushrooms are now pickable by all players
XP curve for farming, crafting and combat tweaked a bit more
Performance pass on load times in Sleepy Haven
Sapling Staff is now multiplayer friendly again!
Shops are saved upon relogging
Multiplayer ferry sync improvements
Mounting now has a cooldown
Days are now shortened to 24 minutes from 30
Night time is slightly shorter now


Fixed: Hagen’s campfire is now a cooking station
Swapping weapons on ladders sheathes weapons correctly
Big Friend quest no longer steals your mud globs
Ryan’s floating tree was brought back down to earth
Amber gave up trying to learn to swim on her way to work
Players no longer get stuck in the Farmlands if their ferry isn’t fixed
Various quests not removing items properly
Cobalt Greataxe and Warhammer recipes now spawn where they should
Clothing recipes all show the correct names now
Various cooking recipes were fixed
Harper now accepts hugs once again
Sen has finally started paying attention to you and the door again
Casting bar now works through dodging again
Cobalt Gauntlet damage fixed
Various crates fixed
Coconuts and dirt piles no longer lose their loot

Quick Fix - 1.3.16

Woops!

Found a few little bugs that slipped through the cracks. Here's a fix.

FIXED:
- Can plant seeds once again
- Farming XP now works correctly
- Smelters should stop eating your ore

Small Update 1.3.15

Hey everyone!

We were working on patching a few bugs and decided to take some of the Farm 'n Forge feedback into account.

We have a lot more updates planned, but thought we could sneak a few things into this patch to help you along your journey into the Farmlands.

NEW:

- Community Crates to store shared goods
- Craftable backpacks via Tailoring skill
- Sleepy Haven Renovations
- Upgradeable Ferry
- New hat
- 4 new backpacks
- 1 new potion
- Windows 7 & 8 Compatibility mode via Vulkan launch option

UPDATED:
- Crafting XP is now based on resources spent, not items crafted
- Farming XP is now based on seed value and farming level
- Boosted farming XP
- Planting now enters a new camera mode so you can see better
- Crafting planks now gives XP (Smelting ingots coming soon!)

FIXED:
- Should have fixed random Windows 10 startup crashes (Don't launch with Vulkan)
- Double dirt piles removed
- Tutorial door on Castaway Rock fixed
- Resource drops no longer disappear out of the world or inside trees
- Stablemasters have stopped paying you to steal their horses
- Bernhardt works again
- Myterious key now completes quest
- Charlie's journal should update the quest now
- Unbreakable crates are now breakable crates
- Various typos

Hotfix - Patch 1.3.12

Woops! Looks like some stuff got left behind in the last patch. Wanted to quickly address that.

Patch notes:

- Bandits took back their camp from goblins
- Dave now gives you the hammer
- Dave's hammer recipe fixed
- Harkin's friends are done T-posing
- Ghost staff potentially fixed?

Patch 1.3.11 - Windows 7 & 8 fix!

Hey everyone,

I have good news and bad news.

The good news is that we have a new patch going live in just a few minutes and it fixes probably 95% of the reported bugs over the last two days AND it should fix issues players are running into with Windows 7 and 8. (Turns out Unreal Engine doesn't like you guys and doesn't care if you can play games anymore. But Janna does, so she's got your back.) This patch also fixes the insane skill curve for crafting and balances the combat skills better so you've got a bit more of a grind (which may or may not be a good thing to you).

The bad news.

In short, skills are being reset one last time and I'm terribly sorry.

The long of it is that a few days before the update I rerolled the experience system as you already know. Unfortunately what we've learned after over 12 hours of hunting for an answer, is that the reason that new system wiped everyone's skills out is because we changed the name of a variable, which apparently serializes it as a new variable, essentially resetting it to 0.

The big problem here is that when we realized that was probably the case, we tried changing it back... which doesn't work, and then serializes the variable again. Which ultimately means that it no longer matches with your current skills again.

The dev team and I are thinking of some way to make it up to you guys for all your patience and I'll let you know if we come up with anything.

Fixed ice cave quest (chest reset for players who were locked in the quest)
