Update - 2.0.9
Weapon crafting changes:
• Crafted weapons are now saved as preset and will stack in the inventory (Crafted weapons in old saves are not affected). Presets are always saved and you can only have one instance of each unique recipe, however there is an option to delete presets if you want, therefore losing the ability to craft "legacy" weapons (yes, at least for now, presets retain the legacy values in case an update changes crafting components or modifiers stats).
• Added modifier: Critical, which increases crit chance while reducing base damage.
• Each additional component no longer reduces the heat generated by 1.5%. This was intended to balance high component weapons before free boosters were introduced and is no longer needed.
• Fixed free boosters BUG. Using 'Point Defense' and 'Boosted' modifiers now properly add 1 free boosters for a single core weapon.
• 'Boosted' modifier now adds 5% energy usage and 3% heat, instead of just 10% energy. Credits cost also increased to +20% instead of +10%.
• Range, Crit and Heatsink boosters can now be added up to 6 times each, instead of 5.
Other changes:
• Mining Drone bay is now crafted with base components instead of fine components, and requires Tech Level 7 instead of 10. Attack and Repair drones also had their Tech Level requirements reduced by 1.
• Technomancers reputation is now required to open the 'Schematics' quest, instead of being an objective of it. Please note this will not affect quests you are already on.
• "Defeat NPC" quests now have a link to the sector where the NPC is (when it's not your current sector).
• The Raven now has 3 gunner seats instead of 2.
• Several turrets on the V6B received more weapon space. All the triple barrel ones are now -33% damage, instead of a few being -40%. Its big cannon also received +50% armor penetration.
• Fixed quest BUG that would ask you to go to an nonexistent sector (unfortunately, this only prevents the bug from happening again and won't fix old bugged saves).
• Fixed invincible NPCs on assassination missions (in some cases, the bugged quest can't be fixed, so it's best to abandon it).
• Fixed rapid fire modifier tooltip not showing proper heat change values.

Follow up fixes (2.0.9a):
• [Weapon Crafting] You can now export/import your recipes to and from the clipboard, making it easier to share with friends.
• Fixed stations generating the same quests and crew members repeatedly.

Update - 2.0.8 - MORE STORY! (Updated Jul 8)
Greetings commanders!
MORE STORY! Yes, I finally added more story to the game, continuing the independent quest chain normally begun in the tutorial, with Sam Holo. The new quest dives deeper in the lore, which many of you have been waiting for, besides adding more guidance and introducing important mechanics early on. It triggers after the tutorial OR if you start a game with 'Outis' and the tutorial off. As usual, you can completely skip it if you want to create your own unique adventures :)
By the way, the story is far from done and I'll be adding more later on, but I'm pretty happy about this part.
Other than that, 2.0.8 brings a lot of cool changes, many requested features and ships. Oh and the next part, before you all ask, is going to be Station Building DLC.

Thanks to my friend Xyranoth for writing most of the new stuff on this patch :)
Thank you all for buying and supporting the game in any way, and as always:
2.0.8 features:
• Added a new part to the independent story quest, started in the tutorial with Sam Holo. It also triggers if you start a new game as Outis background without tutorial missions. Old saves up to level 20 and still at 'Outis' will recieve the quest-chain, otherwise, it's only available in new games.
• Lone Wolf Perk is now obtained in the end of the new quest, instead of when reaching level 30 as Outis.
• Added Perks: Scoundrel and Swashbuckler, both related to the new quest.
• Added the option to go with Pirates (Red Skull) at the end of the tutorial. The tutorial is also a bit more complete now.
• Hidden characters like Ziggy and Sam Holo can now be unlocked to start new games with. However, 'The Exiled' quest no longer triggers if you pick Ziggy when starting a new game. In addition, a few special characters cannot be picked with certain perks, for example: Sam Holo can't be selected at the same time as 'Outis'.
• Tinhead Workshops now have quests with ship blueprints as rewards.
• Added ship: Hornet, tier 3 Independent Gunship, size 1 (Shuttle).

• Added ship: Wizard, tier 3 Independent Ranger, size 4 (Frigate).

• Added ship: Prometheus, tier 3 Independent Corsair, size 6 (Dreadnought)

• Dragonfly received 'Drones gain: Drone parts drop when destroyed'.
• Taurus received 'Built-In equipment: Advanced Mobile Refinery'.
• Increased cargo space on the Feisar, Speeder and Screamer.
• The Beetle model is now unlocked by default.
• Added Tier 2 ship enhancements: Built-In equipment: Attack Drone Mk.2 and Repair Drone Mk.2.
• Added Tier 2 ship enhancement: Built-In equipment: Advanced Mobile Refinery.
• Added a scrollbar to captain selection when adding a ship to your fleet.
• Added button for 'Jettison X' items.
• Weapons now properly fire from hard-points when the ship is rolling.
• Collector beam now picks up closest items first.
• The 'Scout Mission' quest now only spawns in stations from level 2 to 5, so it won't show up on the starter station.
• Hunter Fleets no longer spawn in the starter sector
• Increased initial galaxy size when choosing 'Unlimited'.
• All target ships from quests are now highlighted in the sector map, not just the first.
• Added a screen fade In/Out when loading different scenes (can be turned on/off in settings)
• The Load Game panel now sorts files by last time saved.
• Added option to set auto-save frequency, in minutes.
• The selling confirmation for ships now account for crew still aboard.
• Missiles and drones no longer follow cloaked targets.
• Added weapon: PD Orb.
• Fixed equipment stash not sorting after 'Unequip All'.
• Fixed 'Elimination' quests ending in enemy stations.
• Fixed changing fleet ship role not affecting its current target.
Follow up fixes(2.0.8a)
• The Enforcer now has 4 gunner seats instead of 2.
• Added 'Mining drone' blueprint to Self Reliant start.
• Fixed black screen BUG when entering a sector.

Price update In some countries

Starting Friday, April 21st, there will be price adjustments in several countries to follow Steam's new regional pricing suggestions.
Recently I noticed that prices in some countries were really outdated, needing more than 200% increase. Therefore, I believe that the new conversions recommended by Steam better reflect the current economic situation, so as not to devalue the product.

Please note that the game's base price (in US$) will not be affected and these price adjustments are not expected to occur on a regular basis.
