Broken Saves from v2.0.1d Beta 2

[p]We had an unfortunate, very bad bug in the public beta for v2.01d on Friday -- in Beta2, saving the game would break that save very badly. We fixed the bug quickly in beta 3, but broken saves were still broken after that. [/p][p]
Fortunately, we have created a way to fix these broken saves. If your save got broken in this way (the game freezes when you load the save), please email that save to us at info 'at' wolfquest.org and we'll fix it and send it back. [/p][p][/p][p]You can find the save here:[/p]
 • [p]Windows: Documents/My Games/Wolf Quest Anniversary/User Files/Saves/[/p]
 • [p]Mac: \[YourUserDirectory]/Wolf Quest Anniversary/User Files/Saves/[/p]
[p]Sorry about the trouble![/p]

Public Beta for v2.0.1d

[p]IMPORTANT NOTE: We had a bad bug in Beta 2: If you saved a game in that beta, that save is completely broken and will freeze the game even in a newer beta where that bug is fixed. But we now have a way to fix these broken saves.[/p]

[p]NOTE: Multiplayer games are NOT backward-compatible with the last patch (v2.0.1c), so you CANNOT play with those who have that version (and they cannot play with you).[/p][p]Game saves ARE backward compatible with v2.0.1c, so if you switch back to that version, you can continue playing any saves made in this beta.[/p][p][/p]
BETA 4

IMPROVEMENTS:
[p]* Howling: Removed tail wag from regular howl, and allowed player tail emotes to play during all types of howls.[/p][p]* Improved NPC wolf gaze direction when looking at food.[/p][p][/p]
BUGS FIXED:
[p]* Interface panels (like Pack Rally and Courtship) are sometimes hidden when they should be visible.[/p][p]* NPC wolves can get "stuck" next to a mule deer doe carcass, trying to get to it.[/p][p]* Snow can appear on animals when it should not.[/p][p]* Young Hunters' mouth doesn't open when doing new howls.[/p][p]* Grass placement issues.[/p][p]* Lost River: Floppy's Theme music rarely plays.[/p][p][/p]

[p][/p]
BETA 3
[p][/p]
BUGS FIXED:
[p]* Saving a game in beta 2 will break the save. New WolfQuest Game Trailer!

[p]We've created a new game trailer that better reflects what the game has become now in 2025. Enjoy! [/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]What has the game become? With the Saga, WolfQuest is finally what so many of us imagined it could be from the start -- living the life of a wild wolf, year after year, raising each litter of pups and seeing them set off to live their own lives. Time continues to progress through the years until your-wolf dies -- but then you can switch to play as your mate or offspring. [/p][p]And we've also updated the game description and with the help of many players on our Discord server, added new game screenshots for our Store page. Thanks especially to those players whose screenshots we selected: astridtegen, Expert Luke, Icea, jela, Lady Noir, Lettuce, Lumie, MidnightMountain, Minte, Moose, Peanut, Remi, RileySmiley, Spruce56,Tryn, Void, and Økwedlule.[/p][p]We have plenty of things on our list to continue improving and adding to the game, but we are planning to finally exit Early Access this summer![/p]
