  • You will be shown an error message when you are using an unsupported avatar.

  • Fixed the issue where VirtualCast fails to launch if the app is installed under a path that contains double-byte characters.

  • Fixed the issue where the lock operation of VCI sometimes didn't work in a room with many VCIs in existence.
  • Fixed the issue where VirtualCast unexpectedly failed when you entered a room while the anti-aliasing setting for the mirror is set to high.

  • The sale of Vgifts on nico live will be disabled when you move from the studio to room while live streaming to nico live.
    • The sale of the Vgifts will be re-enabled when you go back to the studio from the above state.

[h3]Improvements[/h3]
  • Improved the performance of the ring menu rendition.

[h3]Changes[/h3]
  • Changed the default control settings as below:
    • Control Type: Action
    • Analog Input: Enabled
    • If you are already using VirtualCast, this won't change the control settings for you. However, the change will be applied when you initialize the save data or use VirtualCast for the first time.
  • The running editions of the room are unified into the stable edition.
    • If your room's running edition were set to beta, it would automatically be switched to the stable edition.
    • The running edition setting on the website will be deleted.
    • This change is preparation for the room support on Quest, which will enable the users to use the rooms easily.

[h2]VCI[/h2]
  • Fixed the issue where vci.state.Add and vci.studio.shared.Add functions return error in the room environment. Due to this change, the atomicity of vci.state.Add and vci.studio.shared.Add functions under room environment have been removed; thus these functions are now deprecated.

  • Fixed the issue where certain models fail to load.

[h3]New features[/h3]
Added brand-new stream cameras for streaming and recording.
(Left: Global Stream Camera / Right: Local Stream Camera)
  • Added [Global Stream Camera] and [Local Stream Camera] under the [Camera] menu in the ring menu.
  • Global Stream Camera can only be spawned by the owner or the admin of the room you are in.
    • A single Global Stream Camera can exist in a room. The video taken with this streaming camera will be shared with all users.
  • Local Stream Camera is a streaming camera that can be spawned by anyone who has linked their THE SEED ONLINE account with VirtualCast.
    • Room's owner and admin can also spawn a Local Stream Camera when they haven't spawned Global Stream Camera already.
    • Local Stream Camera can be activated in the local environment, allowing you to switch the streaming video in your environment without affecting others.
How to Use the Stream Cameras
  • For detail on how to use Stream Cameras, see the wiki (Japanese).
  • Each stream camera can be activated by clicking the USE button shortly.
    • A Stream Camera that is active will have its tally lamps at the top of the camera and the finder and the rings at the bottom lit.
    • The video rendered on the monitor camera and the desktop window is the video taken from the active Stream Camera.
  • You can click shortly on the monitor camera to activate it.
  • Holding the USE button while grabbing a Stream Camera will make it go into Parallel Movement mode. Releasing the USE button will disengage the mode.
  • Choosing [Parallel Movement] in the context menu will keep the Stream Camera in the Parallel Movement mode. In this mode, the pitch (X-axis) and roll (Z-axis) of the Stream Camera will be fixed to 0.
    • The selection of the Parallel Movement mode is not synced across users and is not saved to the room.
  • You can zoom with the Stream Camera by grabbing it with both hands and pulling out and in.
  • When there are more than one Stream Cameras in a room, the room will get a [On Air] badge on their icon in the list of rooms. For details, see the wiki(Japanese).

  • Fixed the issue where you could select the "invite" friend button repeatedly.
