[Beta] VirtualCast ver2.0.0a release

[h2]New Feature[/h2]
  • Released the Room feature.
    • Currently the user interface is available in Japanese only. English localization is coming soon.
    • The details of the Room will be introduced in our blog soon.

  • From now on, press and hold the menu button while touching an item to open a context menu.
    • This change is made to avoid the context menu from popping up unintendedly by pressing the menu button while an attachable VCI is attached near your hands. This allows you to open the ring menu anytime by just pressing the menu button shortly.
  • Unified the naming convention of images exported from whiteboard to that of images exported from capture camera.
  • Changed the display speed of button texts and ticker messages in the ring menu.
  • Changed the controller binding for Grip and Use on Index controllers.

  • Made an internal improvement on the rotation speed and locomotion speed settings.

[h2]Improvements[/h2]
  • Changed the maximum length of the hand laser from 10m to 20m.
  • Changed the laser shooting out of context menu to follow the object of interest.

[h2]Bug fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed the issue where sometimes unintended button was displayed outside of the ring.
  • Fixed the issue where sometimes the "VCI LOADING" object kept existing even after the VCI is deleted.
  • Fixed the issue where an image on the queue card was not visible from a certain angle when the opacity of the queue card is set to 100%.
  • Fixed the issue where you sometimes couldn't enter official studios properly (turns completely black).
  • Fixed the issue where pressing the trigger lightly while in the finger paint mode disables the finger paint mode.
  • Fixed the issue where the sound effect was not played when a VCI is deleted.
  • Fixed the issue where the nameplate's voice indicator did not turn off when the mic mute is enabled while speaking.
  • Fixed the issue where the FOV of a camera is not synced when entering a studio.

[h3]Improvements[/h3]
  • You can now keep the show/hide setting of the VCI debug console between studios.
    • Due to this change, your current setting will be reset to "disabled."
    • Due to this change, the [VCI Debug] button in the ring menu > [System] will always be visible regardless of the setting in the title settings > [VCI] > [Display debug information in studio].

[h3]Bug-fixes[/h3]
  • Updated Effekseer to v1.52n.
  • Fixed the issue where a json containing escaped slash cannot be parsed.

[Stable] VirtualCast ver1.9.5d release

[h2]New features[/h2]
  • You can now specify the maximum number of participants in a studio: between 2 and 16.
    • You can change the maximum number in Settings > [Studio] > [Maximum room capacity].
    • Default number of maximum participants has been changed to four.

[h2]Changes[/h2]
  • When the motion filter is enabled, the change made to the user height slider will no longer take effect immediately.
    • The change will take effect with a character change or with [System] > [Reload Character].
  • Show/Hide VCI Console button in the ring menu has been moved to [System] > [VCI Debug].
  • Changed the name of the tutorial background to "Tutorial Studio."

  • The multi-line state of the ring menu will be saved from now on.

  • File names will no longer be notified when taking photos with the capture camera.
  • Now, when striking the hand-gun pose or count-one pose using VIVE Cosmos, the hand laser will be emitted from the index finger.
  • Changed the finger pose control scheme for the VIVE Cosmos controller.
    • The control will be similar to that of Oculus Touch except that you use the press of A and X button instead of touching them.
    • Some poses are not implemented.

  • Changed the default binding for VIVE Cosmos so you can open the ring menu with the Y button on the left-hand controller.
  • Now, the key to resume the rendering will be displayed when rendering to the desktop is disabled.

[h2]Bug fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed the issue where you sometimes teleported backward when you are holding an item in your left hand.
  • Fixed the issue where you could not post the recorded movie to Twitter when you deleted a movie capture with less than 10 seconds of recording.
  • Fixed the issue where when you are using Vive Trackers, you couldn't recalibrate properly after once calibrating in an incorrect posture.

  • Fixed the issue where the ownership of a VCI is moved from the host to the spawner after the VCI is created.
  • Fixed the issue where the default value of VciTransform.IsMine was not set properly to an Object that isn't a SubItem.
