  • You can now specify the maximum number of direct-viewers allowed in a studio(0 - 6).

[h2]Changes[/h2]
  • Deleted the setting [Studio > Allow joining with direct view mode].
    • If you specify the maximum number of direct-viewers allowed to be 0, it will be the same as not allowing direct-viewers at all.

[h2]Bug fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed the issue where a character's hip moves backward when crouching under a configuration with HMD and controllers only.
  • Fixed the issue where characters sometimes stretch out when calibration is done with VIVE Trackers.
  • Chest of characters no longer rotates with arms.
  • Fixed the issue where the character's legs bend in an unnatural direction when you sit down on the ground with VIVE trackers equipped.
    • From this version on, when the waist tracker is near the ground, the knee position calculated by IK will take precedence over actual knee trackers. This behavior is now deemed as the official.

  • You can now specify the maximum number of participants in a studio: between 2 and 16.
    • You can change the maximum number in Settings > [Studio] > [Maximum room capacity].
    • Default number of maximum participants has been changed to four.

[h2]Changes[/h2]
  • When the motion filter is enabled, the change made to the user height slider will no longer take effect immediately.
    • The change will take effect with a character change or with [System] > [Reload Character].
  • Show/Hide VCI Console button in the ring menu has been moved to [System] > [VCI Debug].
  • Changed the name of the tutorial background to "Tutorial Studio."

[h2]Bug fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed the issue where you sometimes teleported backward when you are holding an item in your left hand.
  • Fixed the issue where you could not post the recorded movie to Twitter when you deleted a movie capture with less than 10 seconds of recording.
  • Fixed the issue where when you are using Vive Trackers, you couldn't recalibrate properly after once calibrating in an incorrect posture.

  • The multi-line state of the ring menu will be saved from now on.

  • File names will no longer be notified when taking photos with the capture camera.
  • Now, when striking the hand-gun pose or count-one pose using VIVE Cosmos, the hand laser will be emitted from the index finger.

  • Changed the finger pose control scheme for the VIVE Cosmos controller.
    • The control will be similar to that of Oculus Touch except that you use the press of A and X button instead of touching them.
    • Some poses are not implemented.
Changed the default binding for VIVE Cosmos so you can open the ring menu with the Y button on the left-hand controller.
Now, the key to resume the rendering will be displayed when rendering to the desktop is disabled.

  • Reverted the change that disabled the effect of movement made by controller input to SpringBone; thus, the effect is enabled again.
    • We have received much feedback on this change. We decided to revert this change as the disabling of the effect is not synced across clients, and the same effect can be achieved with a certain way of creating models.

[h2]Changes[/h2]
  • Changed the resolution of the capture camera from 1280x720 to 1920x1080.
  • Removed the flashing effect of "Specified Room" in the ring menu.
  • Changed the way the calibration during character change works so that it is easier to play in a seated position.
    • When you want to play while seated, you can now just change characters in a seated position (Characters will appear standing).
    • Set your real height in the "User Height" settings. You don't have to change this for every character.
    • When using VIVE Trackers, you have to stand during calibration as always.
  • Now a "VCI Loading" indicator will appear during VCI loading.
  • The user height on the calibration screen will be hidden when you are not modifying the value.
  • You can no longer open the ring menu while reloading VRM.
  • Now, when you attract an item with gravity enabled, it will stay in mid-air for a short period.
  • You can now attract preset items that are spawned by other users.

  • You can now change the height of the ring menu.
    • Go to [The ring menu] > [System] > [Menu Height] to adjust the height.
  • Added "White" to the marker pen.

  • Fixed the issue where the fan couldn't be attracted with the hand laser.
  • Fixed an occasional issue where swingable items don't swing when FastSpringBone is enabled.
  • Fixed the issue where an item spawned by a guest disappears when the studio owner selects an item with the same name from the ring menu.
  • Fixed the issue where overlapping item spawn sound effects were played very loudly when joining a studio with many items in existence.
  • Fixed the issue where the state of nico video player was not in sync between guests and a studio owner when a guest joined a studio with a nico video player which has ended a playback.
  • Fixed the issue where the movement range of the neck became restricted when six points tracking is enabled.
  • Fixed the issue where the ring menu behaved unexpectedly after kicking a guest.
  • Fixed the issue where an animation of the GLB location was unplayable.
  • Fixed the issue where avatars sometimes twist when looking straight up or straight down in a tracker-less configuration.
  • Fixed the issue where a context menu continues to be operable even when the respective item is deleted while the context menu is open.
  • Fixed the issue where an item could be attracted while the product information is being displayed.
  • Fixed the issue where VCI console couldn't be disabled.

  • Fixed the issue where the stride length became short when you change your character from a short one to a tall one.
  • Fixed the issue where preset items were sometimes spawned in small sizes when you enter a studio.
  • Fixed the issue where an object behind the VCI purchase menu was sometimes rendered in front of the menu.
  • Fixed the issue where the head of an avatar did not follow the position of the HMD bellow certain height when Vive Trackers are used for feet only.
