Re.Poly Update Version 0.2.5

Hi there girls and guys. In this month update I could not fit the plan to implement the dragon mother event and the system to expand mount controls. The reason for that is the huge amount of bug reports that I got. I am happy about it because I have fixed so many bugs and even the dedicated server verson is working much better.

So I have to put the content I could not add this month to the next month update. Sorry about that but I want to have everything more stable before I put in more content.

The Update notes contains all the stuff that I do including the hotfixes posted this month. Have a nice day and I hope we meet us on the Discord server :)



Update Notes Version 0.2.5


Additions:

+ Added text info for building parts, usables and when a chicken or rabbit is catched
+ Added info to the taming game which keys are have to be pressed to play the game
+ Added: Using the right mouse while holding a weapon or some tools without a shield the character will block the incoming hit and reduces the durability by the damage income (Means after some blocks with a weapon the weapon will be broken when the durability is 0)
+ Added sound effect and a display icon on the left side that stays for 20 seconds when you are invited to a guild
+ Added: Chickens are visible in the coop now
+ Added: Rabbits are visible in the rabbit cage now
+ Added: Map icon for the mount that was previously used
+ Added a check for eating logics for mounts and animals if a player is present or not. If not the eating process will not be fired
+ Added logics to use pillars as building reference to build houses without foundations

+ Added 6 new ingame music tracks and 1 night music track
+ Added snappoints to add ladders to the laddered ceiling ladders

- Removed starting items from Furnace, Campfire and every other workstation that needs fuel to prevent the Item creation exploit
- Removed dust from cutting tree hit particle effect




Changes:

- Changed: Female leather hat to a leather hood model
- Changed: Female leather chest armor model
- Changed: Wooden staff model
- Changed: Honey is usable now and will heal 5% of your HP
- Changed: Use the mouse wheel give you the ability to scroll through the quick bar
- Changed: Default key for changing build height is left Ctrl now
- Changed: To rotate a build part you have to hold left alt (Because the mouse wheel changes slots now this is the only way)
- Changed: The default key for evading is the middle mouse button now
- Changed: Made some landscape place a bit more plane to offer a bit more building space
- Changed: Made the taming game a bit taller so you have some extra time to react to the movement
- Changed: Map icons will shrink now when you zoom into the map
- Changed: Chat window will stay visible longer now
- Changed: Press the "Take All" Button or using the shortcut will take all and close the window
- Changed: The Durability for fire magic is raised from 100 to 250
- Changed: Using skillpoints on agility will increase the max energy by 5 per point

- Changed: Set the default FPS to 60 instead of maximum possible for the first start (If you notice a high graphics use just change the FPS setting to 60)

- Changed: Bow and magic AI will run away from you to get better positioning when you get too near instead of coming closer to make them less OP
- Changed: The default damage of the staff is raised from 15 to 30
- Changed: Combat will not stop your character anymore and the animations will be reduced to offer a hit and run system
- Changed: Shield block is possible when jumping now
- Changed: Attacking while falling/jumping is possible
- Changed: Using a shield with a bihander or greataxe is not possible anymore (Because of animation work it is not that optical fine)

- Changed: Bow will straw with right mouse button and shoot with left mouse button now. Only pressing left mouse will do nothing.

- Changed: All moving animations for weapons and tools to more static, less moving animations

- Changed: small wall shelves should not have an inventory so I took it out (Destroy it to get the items in it back)
- Changed: Sprinting mode will now be deactivated when pressing shift again. It will no longer be deactivated when you stand still. Shift will toggle it
- Changed: Triangle Ceiling now needs 2 other triangle ceilings to have support instead of 3
- Changed: Chimneys can only be placed on walls when a foundation or ceiling is underneath it
- Changed: Magical recycler will give back resources based on the condition of the items
- Changed: Crafting something on crafting stations will no longer give EXP to prevent group EXP farming (Exploit fix)

- Fixed: Changing the character optics and gender is not working for a new game
- Fixed: Players have no names ingame sometimes. Added an extra check for it so it should fix it in savegames too

- Fixed: Interaction and hitting objects in first person view does not work properly

Update V 0.2.0

Hey there girls and guys.

In this update I replaced the old map with a complete new one. This one only has 3 biomes with future biomes to come.

This time caves are present and some places to explore and loot. Some of the places are only placeholders and will be changed in future updates but I had to block them to prevent you from building at this places and destroy your savegames.

A propos savegames: Yes I had to wipe your savegames because it is a complete new map and it had caused a lot of extreme errors and issues. So Yes, you have to start a new game. Sorry about that but it is neccessary.
