[Announcement] Regarding the Use of Third Party Tools

Hello, Heroes of Bermesiah!

We apologize for the lack of details in our response to the use of macros.
Under our current policies all use of macro is considered to be abnormal gameplay and are thus restricted.

In the case of abnormal gameplay, this includes many different cases outside of the use of macros.
However, we do take note that the use of macros isn't the same as manipulating information within the client or server to gain unfair advantage.
We do feel that there are players who are not so content with how the situation has been handled.
We will be reinforcing our operation policy regarding the use of Macros so that the gameplay can be improved.

Other than the operation policy, we will also improve the Macro Detection System so that we can create a stable gameplay environment.
We will reflect upon our response to the abnormal gameplay and improve where we have lacked.
Thank you for your continued report on suspicious gameplay and for your feedback.

Once again, we apologize for the lack of our timely and proper response to macro users.
We will be working quickly to update our operation policies and provide additional guidance.

Thank you.

[Announcement] Secondary Actions Against Unauthorized 3rd Party Program Use

Hello, Heroes of Bermesiah!

Today we processed a 2nd round of penalties for additional players who gained an unfair advantage through abusive play.
Following yesterday's 1st announcement, we received several questions regarding the criteria for these penalties and the recoupment of improper gains.
With the completion of this 2nd round of penalties, we anticipate that even more players may have questions. To ensure everyone is informed about the process, we are providing additional details in this announcement.

■ GrandChase Classic Code of Conduct
The current Code of Conduct for GrandChase Classic is consistent with the May 23, 2024 announcement.

■ Reasons for Prohibiting Macro Use
We categorize and penalize macro use as abnormal play.
This is because we believe that macros allow players to play in an abnormal manner and gain an unfair advantage.
- Players who tamper with the game client or server information will be punished for using illegal tools.

Macro use, like the use of illegal tools, is unfair to other users and discourages fair play. Therefore, it will be penalized as follows:
- Players will face severe login restrictions based on the number of penalties.
- Improper gains will be thoroughly investigated, recovered, and reset.
- Players detected for abnormal play once will be subject to continuous monitoring as needed.

■ Recoupment Process for Improper Gains
- Upon receiving a report or detecting abnormal play, we will review the player's game data to determine the appropriate penalty.
- We will examine records both at the time of detection and prior to it to identify when the abnormal play began.
- After the login restriction is placed, we will recoup any improper gains acquired from the initial occurrence of abnormal play to the present.

■ Recoupment Information for Improper Gains
※ The recouped contents may vary depending on the type of abnormal play.
- All items acquired through abusive play will be recovered starting from the time of the initial abusive play.
- Items or fusion cards acquired by consuming items acquired through abnormal play will be recouped.
- The Card Collection level accrued after the initial abnormal play will be reset.
- Chase points and stats acquired as Card Collection rewards after the initial abnormal play will be recouped.
- EXP and Chaser levels gained through abnormal play will be reset.
- Chase points and stats will be recouped based on the Chaser Level reset.

GrandChase Classic regards abusive gameplay as a very serious issue.
This behavior can be deeply frustrating to other players and therefore we take strict measures to limit access to our game services.
We are grateful for the support of players who report suspicious behavior during the enforcement process. Once again, we would like to express our deepest gratitude.
We will continue to work to improve our systems and rules to ensure that GrandChase Classic remains a healthy gaming environment.

Thank you.

[Announcement] Actions Against Unauthorized 3rd Party Program Use

Hello, Heroes of Bermesiah!

We have recently received a number of inquiries regarding an increase in attempts to gain an unfair advantage through abnormal play.
GrandChase Classic takes abusive game behavior, including the use of macros, very seriously and responds to such behavior in accordance with established policies.
The use of macros can be deeply frustrating to other players. Therefore, such behavior will be met with strict measures to restrict access to the game services.
The following information details the types of gameplay that are not encouraged in GrandChase Classic and how we are enforcing them.

By default, GrandChase Classic recommends that players run the game with no programs running in the background.
Running unauthorized programs outside of GrandChase Classic or tampering with in-game information may be considered illegal and will be penalized accordingly.

If a pattern is detected that is significantly outside the scope of normal play patterns, the use of macros will be evaluated through game data collection and real-time monitoring.
If unauthorized programs or abnormal patterns are detected, game access restrictions may be applied in accordance with our policies.

Game restrictions are based on a comprehensive check of not only the most recent history, but also previous game history.
Therefore, please note that the time of enforcement and the time of violation may be different.

The recent cases of abnormal play that we identified were investigated as described above.
The accounts identified have been banned, and we have taken measures to recover any items and points that were improperly acquired.

We appreciate the reports and inquiries we received from players who reported suspicious behavior.
We are deeply grateful to players for working together to ensure that Grand Chase Classic remains a healthy gaming environment.
The development team continues to strengthen and refine our systems to prevent abnormal play, including the use of macros.
We will continue to take strict measures against those who use unauthorized programs, such as macros, to gain an unfair advantage.

We will strive to create the best experience possible.
Thank you.
