Cosmos Update 2.3.0.2 - Major Bugfixes and Enemy Balancing

NEW TO COSMOS
  • Intergalactic Merchant now has a cyan outline dictating its a allied entity
  • Added a new particle effects for charging and firing the Gauss-Railgun
  • Increase the base health of all enemies and slightly increased the rate in which enemies spawn
  • Increased the Flight speed on the enemy "Fighter" and projectiles fired from the Fighter are twice as fast, This should help give some tension in the early game
  • Increased flight speed and Dash speed on the enemy "Dasher"
BUGS FIXED
  • Fixed an issue with the visuals for the Custom Rifts showing up after completing the tutorial, these should only unlock after completing the Small rift for the first time
  • Fixed a rendering issue with the DPS UI screen
  • Fixed an issue with the Starship tooltip showing the image over the text on the Nebulasync Starship
  • Fixed a bug with the Scattered Weapon upgrade not working with the Duplicated Weapon Upgrade
  • Fixed a Particle effect issue with the weapon "Gauss-Railgun" causing the charging attack to constantly play at maximum possible fire rate
  • Fixed a critical issue with the "Gauss-Railgun" triggering Artifact/Augment effects at the maximum possible fire rate while charging the weapon
  • Fixed an issue with the UI text popup saying "Damaged Dodged" when damage is "Blocked"
  • Fixed an issue with the text readout not showing the "Damage Blocked" as the correct colour
  • Fixed an issue with the Augment "Nano-Mesh Plating" gaining Block Chance from taking damage once (until a block is triggered) - It now triggers every time you take damage
  • Fixed an issue with the Artifact "Weapon Array" not triggering correctly
  • Fixed an issue with the Intergalactic Merchant allowing you to buy unlimited weapon rerolls when your gold is below the required amount

Cosmos Update 2.3.0.1 - Hotfix and Tutorialisation

NEW TO COSMOS
  • Added a Demo for people who want to try Cosmos before buying! (this demo has limited features that are only available in the main game)
  • Increased the possible random speed bonus gained from the Cruiser, Mine Layer and Bomber enemies
  • Added a section in the Tutorial that explains how Rift Modifiers work and what they do when selected
BUGS FIXED
  • Fixed a UI rendering issue with the tutorial completion screen showing the "Co-Pilot Experience gained" UI
  • Fixed UI rendering issues with the Level Selection screen Perks and Starship selection bar
  • Fixed an issue with the Mechanic Ascension Augment not working
  • Fixed text rendering issue with the Rift Infuser "Comet Storm"

Cosmos Update 2.3.0 - Weaponisation

  • Cosmic Echo "Asterix" Heal from asteroid contact damage now scales with difficulty
  • Updated the Starship Buying skin UI text to be more readable and match the other UI's
  • Added a SpawnSpeed multiplayer to the Cosmic Core in which it will spawn enemies faster the more waves and cosmic echos that have been completed
  • Fire Souls and Souls are now collected the same way Gold Coins are after each Rift Event is completed
  • Added Fire UI animations to the Boss Health UI which now checks if the Cosmic Echo is Burning or Poisoned
  • Added custom images for all Enemies in the compendium along with a UI animation
WEAPON UPGRADES
You can now buy Weapon Upgrades from the Intergalactic Merchant, These upgrades Weapon can change the way your weapon works, give stat buffs or grant gold/utility items
  • Maximum Weapon upgrades are capped at 3
  • Weapon upgrades are KEPT when equipping a new weapon
  • Upgrades can be re-rolled at the Intergalactic merchant if a player interacts with the weapon shop Item holding a Weapon that has 3 Weapon modifiers, Any less and the option to add a modifier will be there instead

  • Overloaded - 25% Projectile Size, 25% Attack Range and 10% Critical Hit Chance
  • Aftershock - Weapon shots release a damaging wave at max range
  • Boosted - 100% Attack Speed
  • Infused - Killing a Cosmic Echo grants a random item
  • Dynamic - While Health is below 10% all weapon shots will critically strike
  • Deadly - Kills grant 1% Death Prevention Chance
  • Collector - Critical Strikes Grant Gold
  • High Velocity - Projectiles pierce through enemies
  • Explosive - Projectiles are filled with high yield explosives
  • Duplicated - +1 Weapon Projectiles
  • Bloodthirsty - Weapon shots have a chance to restore Health
  • Ballistic Infused - +25 Ballistic Damage
  • Plasma Infused - +25 Plasma Damage
  • Laser Infused - +25 Laser Damage
  • Scattered - Weapon shots are inaccurate, +200 Attack Range
  • Lucky - Enemies drop more Gold and have a chance of dropping 2 Gold Coins
  • Nuclear Rounds - Weapon shots have a chance of spawning as Mini Nukes
  • Bolt Action - Weapon shots deal 500% More damage but you have to reload after each shot

Updated Artifact "Double Barrel" - Renamed to Loaded Array"
Was: +1 Weapon Shot Projectiles
Now: Hex Missile fires an additional Volly

Updated Artifact "High Velocity Ammo"- Renamed to "Block Dodge"
Was: Projectiles peirce through enemies
Now: Blocking also triggers a Dodge

Updated Artifact "Vial of Blood" - Renamed to "Supply Crate"
Was: Weapon shots occasionally regenerate health
Now: Break it open to see the reward!

Updated Artifact "Longshot Explosion" - Renamed to "Nanite Blocker"
Was: Projectiles that reach maximum attack range explode dealing 100% plasma damage in an area
Now: Blocking spawns a shield that absorbs the next enemy projectile

Updated Artifact "Critical Collector" - Renamed to "Photon Wave Blaster"
Was: Critical Strikes can sometimes grant Gold
Now: Charge the Photon Wave Blaster while your weapon is not firing
Your next shot while fully charged projects a large Photon Wave


Updated Artifact "Strange Hex Device" - Renamed to "Hex Overcharge"
Was: Every 30th Weapon shot expells strange matter that explodes after a duration
Now: While Overcharging Hex missiles can be used while on cool down

Updated Artifact "Rift Crystal"
Was: Opening a Cosmic Rift regenerates 5 health and Grants 5 Maximum Health
Now: Triggering a Dodge spawns 3 homing Missiles

Updated Artifact "Flaming Sword"
The flame Aura now is linked to a projectile and is ejected based on the starship rotation

AUGMENT UPDATES

Updated Augment "Nano-Carbon Plating" now called "Nano-Mesh Plating"
Was: Gain +2 Health for each point in Ballistic Damage
Now: Taking damage grants +10% block Chance and Blocking resets your block chance to 0%

Updated Augment "Booster Chip"
Was: Every time you take damage below 50% Health you gain 5% death prevention chance and +1 Maximum Health
Now: Taking damage below 50% Health grants the following;
+1% death prevention chance
+1% Block Chance
+1 Maximum Health

Updated Augment "DPM Modulator" now called "Block Modulator"
Was: Gain +50% Death Prevention Chance
Now: Gain 10% Block Chance

Updated Augment "DPM Overclocker" now called "Deathblock"
Was: Gain +100% Death Prevention Chance
Now: Blocking grants 25% Death Prevention Chance

Updated Augment "Death Recovery System"
Was: Preventing Death grants 00 Health
Now: Gain 100% Death Prevention Chance and Preventing Death grants 100 Health

BUGS FIXED
  • Fixed a dialogue bug with the Cosmic Echo "The Trio" printing the wrong intro text
  • Fixed a bug with the Rift Modifier selection screen having issues with selecting when hovering on the bottom 20% of the button
  • Fixed a bug with all weapons in which they would sometimes restore Hex or Blink charges on contact (Old Artifact code was not removed)
  • Fixed a bug with the Artifact "Adrenaline" failing to trigger on attacking a Cosmic Echo (Adrenaline also now triggers on attacking enemies as well)
  • Fixed a bug the Augment "Nano-Steel Protective Plates" in which the shock wave duration was much lower than expected
  • Fixed a bug with some boss projectiles that destroy player projectiles to not destroy the floating Plasma Balls from the Artifact "Andromeda" as they remained destroyed permanently
  • Fixed a bug with the Augment "Magnetic Tesseract" that was failing to trigger on collecting Gold Coins
  • Fixed a bug with the Rift infusers showing as disabled when in the Black Market menu even when they can still be bought

Bugs Fixed
  • Fixed a bug with the Shield Generator Augment failing to give the 10% block chance
  • Fixed a Blocking bug with the M3CH pillar failing to destroy when reaching 0 Health
  • Fixed a text wrapping bug with combat logs and dialogue
  • Fixed a wording error with the Syncronised Loading Artifact
  • Fixed a wording error with the Tooltip text of the Data Transfer mod "Death Prevention"

Cosmos Update 2.2.9.2 - Bugfixes and Visual Clarity Updates

Changes to the Cosmos
  • "Blessings" have been replaced with "Celestial Rocks" and collecting all 5 gives a "Wish" where you can choose 1 very powerful reward
  • Updated the Starfire Launcher and subsequent projectiles as they were scaling way beyond the expected power level
  • Updated the T14X Auto Upgrader Artifact rewards to reduce the amount gained in all sections
  • The Intergalactic Merchant now has a randomised store instead of 2 Artifacts and 2 Health Orbs (The weapon item is guaranteed if you do not own an artifact weapon)
  • Removed the Death Prevention System rework, Preventing death now just negates the damage
  • All players start with a 10% Block Chance (blocks all damage and damaging effects) - Block chance can be gained from specific Artifacts and Augments! (especially the new Black Market Shield Generator Augment)
  • Boons and Curses are now added to the player inventory as items instead of in an external UI element
  • Added 5 new Black Market Augments, available through Black Market purchases only
Bugs Fixed
  • Fixed issues with the T14X Auto Upgrader Artifact showing the same rewards multiple times in the choices
  • Fixed an issue with the Artifact "Missile Array" failing to update the tooltip text for the Hex Missile Ability Icon
  • Fixed issue with Augment loot chest and Loot Crate triggered outside the rift if the Rift Animation wasn't skipped
  • Fixed a bug with the Augment "Super Computer" in which the "on Artifact chosen" gave +10 each time instead of +1 (With this change the rewards have also been balanced)
  • Fixed a bug with resetting your account doesn't reset all the kills you got against the "Overlord" enemy
  • Fixed a UI rendering error with the Super Computer opacity and also it appearing behind the Rift Modifier UI
  • Fixed a visual error with the "Enhanced Diamond Projectiles" tooltip text
  • Fixed a visual error with the Artifacts scaling incorrectly on the Artifact Choice Menu
  • Fixed visual errors with 2 Artifacts showing as Weapons/Active Artifacts when locked in the collection menu
  • Rift Infusers now have the correct colouring and tooltip
  • Resetting your account now also resets your unlocked rift infusers
  • Fixed an issue with Rift infusers showing as locked upon receiving them as a reward
  • Fixed a visual error with the "Reroll Artifacts [10 Gold]" text failing to render correctly with different resolutions
  • Fixed an issue with multiple projectiles not working correctly with the Augment "Data Transfer" stat modifiers
  • Fixed an Issue with the Augment "Investment" in which it failed to update your Current Gold text
