This is a small hotfix addressing the following bugs:

  • Fixed a rare bug where players would connect to a match to find an empty board and are unable to play.

  • Fixed an issue where sometimes player rating can drop below 0.

Version 1.2

[h2]General[/h2]

  • The 1 mana winner bonus has been removed. This is in an effort to make matches more even and not too one-sided.

  • Significantly reduced the punishment for losing to a player with a much lower rank than you. You will also gain more rank points for winning against a lower ranked player.

  • Starting mana has been increased to 10. This aims to slightly increase the starting pace of the match.

  • Added a 10 second cancel delay to ranked and casual search to reduce the amount of players matching against an opponent that does not join.

  • Time to wait for opponent to connect to the match has been reduced to 30 seconds.


[h2]Balance[/h2]
All listed ability numbers are from a level 1 perspective. Levels 2 and 3 are scaled in the same manner

  • Basic attack damage has been reduced by 15% across the board and ability damage and healing has been increased by 15% across the board. This is in an effort to further emphasize each unit's unique capabilities.

  • 1 mana cost units have had their stats and abilities reduced by 10% across the board.

  • 2 mana cost units have had their stats and abilities reduced by 5% across the board.

  • Trapper attack speed reduced from 1.15 down to 1.05.

  • Devourer stun duration reduced from 1 second down to 0.8 seconds.

  • Sentinel Curse damage multiplier reduced from 70% down to 60%.

  • Heavy Gunner maximum Focused Fire stacks reduced from 8 down to 6.

  • Pit Fighter knockback reduced from 4 down to 3 tiles.

  • Priestess basic attack damage reduced from 65 down to 56.

  • Mana Hound mana gain from allied spells cast reduced from 15 down to 10.

  • Shadowstalker basic attack damage increased from 20 to 24.

  • Rockling base health reduced from 275 to 200.

  • Irali Imp health reduced from 100 down to 70.

  • Dark Pact Void Imp health reduced from 170 down to 90.

  • Negate damage reduced from 12% maximum life down to 5%.

  • Execute damage reduced from 15% maximum life down to 7%.

  • Lifewell healing split increased from 50% to 52%.

  • Adrenaline attack speed gain reduced from 40% to 35%.


[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

  • Fixed an issue where players joining a match would encounter an empty board with no Deities.

  • Improved the bad connection detection to prevent continuous popups in short periods.

  • The Rockling description no longer has #spellPower in it.

  • Fixed a bug where pressing 'X' during a Freestyle match zooms out the camera.

Thanks to everyone that tried that game on launch! We've got a few balance and bug fixes ready for you!

We have listened to feedback and have significantly increased the amount of gold gained from playing Casual and Ranked matches.

[h2]Balance[/h2]
  • Rock Golem: Base health reduced from 1150 to 950.

  • Spirit Wolf: Base damage reduced from 66 to 60.

  • Trapper: Base damage reduced from 28 to 25.
    Trap damage reduced from 120 to 90.

  • Irali: Detonate damage reduced from 220 to 180.
    Minion health reduced from 170 to 100.

  • Berserker: Max health reduced from 1000 to 900.

  • Holy Orb: Damage gained for distance reduced from 5 to 4.

  • Bloodletting: Damage per tile entered reduced from 35 to 30.

  • Adrenaline: Attack speed reduced from 45% to 40%.

Godsbane V1.0 Out Now!

We are super excited to bring Godsbane out of beta and into a full release! We have a ton of exciting features to announce and a full roadmap for what's coming this year.

[h2]Menu Toys[/h2]

The main menu rooms now has many interactable elements to it. Your Deity choice will now also change the theme of parts of the room and game board.

Collect a number of Player Titles to show off to your enemies in game!



[h2]The Divine Trials[/h2]

Enter into The Divine Trials and put your skills to the test! The more wins you get during the trial, the more you are rewarded. If you reach 10 wins, you get an exclusive title!

[h2]General Changes[/h2]

  • The first three wins of the day will award you with a bonus 50 gold each,
  • Added "Copy Board State" button in the end of game summary view. If you copy a board state, you can paste it in a new Freestyle match to analyze the match.
  • Increased the default placement phase time but after one player marks as ready, the time is reduced.
  • Added a few utility buttons to the Collection view, allowing you to randomize Drafts.
  • Units that are available for upgrades are now more clearly visible on the board,
  • Checking "Infinite Health" in Freestyle mode will now completely skip the damage phase.


[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

  • Fixed a major bug where playing a card just before time ran out would cause you to lose it.
  • Fixed a bug where Dark Pact would sometimes trigger twice if the unit was stunned.
  • Gaining stun immunity will now correctly remove any active stuns on a unit.
  • Fixed a bug where your rating could drop below zero.
  • If a player disconnects during the movement phase, their move lines will now be disabled correctly.
  • The Priestess heal orb will no longer bounce to dead allies.
  • Fixed a bug where moving a unit onto an enemy exactly two tiles away would not work.
  • Fixed a bug where Grenadier grenades would cause flame sparks to flicker across the screen occasionally.
