[h2]Major Changes[/h2]

  • New Power: Lifewell. Whenever the bearer is healed, all allies within [1/1/2] tiles are also healed for [40%/60%/80%] of the amount.


[h2]Unit and Power Changes[/h2]

  • The Forsaken now reads: Lash the target for 600% of basic attack damage as blunt damage. Gain [15/23/30] basic attack damage until the end of the round.

  • Spirit wolf ability damage decreased to [265/400/530] and healing increased to 40%.

  • Defender ability damage resistance reduced to a flat 25%.

  • The Voidbringer can now only pull enemies within 5 tiles.

  • Pocket Portal now procs whenever the bearer casts a spell. The damage has been removed but enemies around the departure point received [40%/60%/100%] extra damage from the next instance of magic damage received.

  • Deadly Ooze now reads: Damage dealt to enemies poisons them for 4 seconds, reducing attack speed by 20%. Every 10 instances of damage dealt to poisoned enemies cause them to explode, taking [80/120/200] blunt damage. If the enemy has no allies within 2 tiles, they take [120/180/300] damage instead.

  • Mana blade now procs off any damage type dealt and steals mana based off [2%/3%/6%] of damage dealt.

  • Arrogance now reduces the next few instances of ability or power damage and not basic attack damage by 50%.

  • Noble Sacrifice now grants stun immunity to affected allies while they are shielded for the duration of the round.

  • Refreshing blows additionally increases all magic damage dealt by [20%/30%/50%] for 3 seconds after it procs.

  • Vitality now reduces pierce damage taken by [15%/25%/35%].

  • Wild axe miss chance increased to [20%/30%/50%]

  • Adrenaline now causes the bearer to take 50% increased blunt damage from all sources.

  • Drain Essence reworked to give extra lifesteal from pierce damage dealt.

  • Cruel Winter now deals pierce damage.

  • Divine Reflection now reflects any damage type and will reflect extra if the damage is blunt.

  • Death Eater duration increased to 4 seconds.

  • Icy Chill additionally deals [25/35/60] blunt damage when it procs.

  • Static Discharge stun duration increased to [0.8/1.2/2] seconds.

  • Imps summoned from Dark Pact now deal the same damage type as the summoners weakness.

  • Units damaged by Piercing Strikes now take 25% additional pierce damage for 4 seconds.

  • Bloodletting damage per cell move reduced to [35/50/85] and bleed duration reduced to 4 seconds.


[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

  • The Lightsmith can now throw his hammer in any direction, fixing a number of issues.

  • Healers will no longer heal an ally that is on full health.

  • Fixed a number of pathfinding errors during the movement phase.

  • Steam friends that are away will no longer permanently be shown as "Logging In".

[h2]Major Changes[/h2]

  • The movement phase has been overhauled. Both players now move each round with the winner of the previous round moving first.

  • New Unit: Grove Tender. Heal the nearest ally within 3 tiles for [125/187/250] and harm all enemies within 1 tile for [200%/300%/400%] of the target's attack damage as pierce damage.

  • New Unit: Spirit Wolf. Bite the target, dealing [300/450/600] blunt damage and healing for [15%/22%/30%] of the damage dealt.

  • New Power: Noble Sacrifice. At the start of each round, the bearer takes 150 damage per ally within 1 tile and gives them [200/300/500] shield.

  • New Power: Lifewell. Whenever the bearer is healed, all allies within [1/1/2] tiles are also healed for [40%/60%/80%] of the amount.

  • Added global leaderboard to the rank menu.


[h2]Minor Changes[/h2]

  • There are now 3 starting drafts, adding more pieces to the default unlocked.

  • Removed the markers showing where the opponent has placed enemies as it gave players a reason to delay their placement.

  • The draft summary tab in the collections view now contains mana curve values.

  • Players are now set to auto-ready when they cannot move any more units during their movement phase.

  • You can no longer lose rating while you are at Bronze rank.

  • Ricochet has been renamed to Piercing Strikes.


[h2]Unit and Power Changes[/h2]

  • The Sorceress now reads: Put target enemy to sleep, stunning them for [4/4.5/5] seconds or until they take 300 damage. The target takes [175/260/350] magic damage over the duration (Does not contribute to removal damage).

  • The Heavy Gunner now deals magic damage.

  • The Darkmage is now a 1 mana defensive unit and deals magic damage.

  • The Pit Fighter now deals blunt damage.

  • Trapper attack range has been reduced to 3.

  • Drain Essence is now stackable if 2 or more allies have it equipped.


[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

  • Fixed a bug where units would pick different starting targets from round to round instead of the same target from the previous round.

  • The crafting menu is no longer chopped off in 16:10 aspect ratios.



Version 0.31

[h2]Major Changes[/h2]

  • Draft numbers changed to 5 units, 10 powers.

  • You may now only move 2 units during your move phase.

  • New Power: Adapt. All damage dealt by powers or abilities is increased by [15%/22.5%/37.5%] and is dealt as blunt damage.

  • Added an Unranked queue which will award gold but will not change ratings.

  • Weaknesses are no longer tied to roles. There is an even distribution of weaknesses amongst the unit-base. Weaknesses are now shown on the standard tooltip.

  • Interest has been reworked. Interest is now only awarded to the winner. The winner is awarded 1 extra mana for every 4 mana saved from the previous round. To compensate, the lose streak bonus has been increased.

  • Upgrading a unit from 2 stars to 3 stars now requires 5 additional upgrades, up from 4.

  • 2 and 3 star units now have 30% less health per level.

  • 2 and 3 star powers now scale at 1.5x and 3x respectively instead of 2x and 3x.

  • The crafting cost of powers is now significantly cheaper than units.


[h2]Unit and Power Changes[/h2]

  • Rockling health reduced to 200. DPS reduced to 13.

  • Void imp DPS reduced to 16.

  • The Voidbringer's ability damage reduced to [165/245/330] and attacks are now ranged.

  • The Dark Mage now deals blunt damage with its ability.

  • Heavy Gunner ability damage reduced to [5/7/10].

  • Defender now reflects attacks back for [100%/150%/200%] of the original damage.

  • Treant healing reduced to [240/360/480].

  • Devourer slam damage increased to [110/165/220].

  • Shadow Stalker phase damage increased to [190/285/380].

  • Bloodletting now works off any damage dealt.


[h2]Minor Changes[/h2]

  • Added a display in the play menu to show when dedicated servers are offline.

  • Deity selection is now saved and can be changed in the Collection view.

  • The movement phase now lasts 45 seconds, up from 30 seconds.

  • The cost of shuffling has been reduced to 1.

  • Holding down ALT or hovering over a unit will show all targeting lines.


[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

  • Fixed a bug where locking would not work correctly in challenge mode.

  • Invisible Steam friends will no longer show in your friends list as Online.

  • Failing to connect to a challenge match will no longer require a game restart.

  • Fixed a bug where Dark Pact caused units to rotate to face the wrong direction when casting a spell.



Version 0.30

[h2]Major Changes[/h2]

  • Steam friends will now appear in game along with the ability to challenge a friend to a match. Challenge matches use Steam's relay servers and can be used while matchmaking is offline.

  • Units and powers are now separated in the collection view, allowing for easier draft creation.

  • The starter draft has been re-worked to provide a more balanced starting point.


[h2]Unit and Power Changes[/h2]

  • The Trapper is now a damage unit and reads: Throw down 2 traps on nearby cells, dealing [110/165/220] pierce damage and stunning enemies for 2 seconds when they enter. Additionally, trapped enemies take a stacking 30% extra damage from all sources for 5 seconds.

  • The Berserker's auto attacks now deal blunt damage while Berserk is active.

  • The Lightsmith's hammer toss now deals blunt damage.

  • Bounce attacks from the Grenadier now deal pierce damage.

  • Damage from the Heavy Gunner's Focused Fire ability is now pierce damage.

  • Mana blade damage reduced to [10/20/30]. Mana is now stolen from the enemy and given to the bearer.

  • Deadly Ooze damage reduced to [20/40/60].


[h2]Minor Changes[/h2]

  • Damage leaderboard contains more info with unit star count and powers.

  • Hovering over a unit will now indicate all enemies that are weak to any damage dealt by the unit or its powers.

  • While moving a unit, the enemy the unit would attack should you move to that tile is now indicated.

  • Lone Wolf will now indicate whether or not it will activate this round.


[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

  • Units that cannot find a path to the target will now move to the closest possible tile.

  • Gold given at the end of a match is no longer shown as double what you actually receive.

  • Corrected tooltip placement going off screen in the collection view under various aspect ratios.

  • Fixed the light flickering that occasionally occurs when moving between menus.

  • Fixed a bug where Mortars do not push themselves back when using their ability.



Version 0.29

[h2]Major Changes[/h2]

  • Draft size reduced from 20 down to 14 (Experimental), containing 7 units and 7 powers. This is in an effort to move towards more concise and reliable strategies in matches.

  • New Unit: Treant. Bond with an ally in a 2 tile radius, healing them for [350/525/700] health over 6 seconds and transferring [30%/45%/60%] of all damage taken back to the Treant.

  • New Power: Lone Wolf. When the bearer is not within 2 tiles of an ally, gain [200/400/600] maximum health and [35/70/105] attack damage.

  • New Power: Mana Blade. The bearer gains [20/40/60] attack damage and all normal damage dealt burns [0.06/0.12/0.18] mana per damage point done.

  • New Power: Rally. Whenever a surrounding ally casts a spell, the bearer gains [75/150/225] shield.

  • New Power: Cruel Winter. When an enemy first enters a tile surrounding the bearer, they are burned with frost for [90/180/270] magic damage and silenced for 3 seconds (Silenced enemies do not gain mana and cannot cast spells).

  • New Power: Deadly Ooze. Damage dealt to enemies poisons them, causing ooze to leak from them whenever they enter a new tile for 4 seconds. Enemies standing in ooze are damaged for [25/50/75] blunt damage every second.


[h2]Unit and Power Changes[/h2]

  • Phoenix now reads: Damage the Phoenix for 10% of its maximum health and fire a bomb at the target, dealing [245/365/490] pierce damage. If the Phoenix is above 75% health, the damage is also dealt to enemies surrounding the target.

  • The Voidbeast damage-over-time effect now also slows the target's attack speed by [25%/37.5%/50%]

  • The Berserker is now immune to stun effects while Berserk is active.

  • Priestess heal amount reduced to [90/135/180].

  • Voidbringers now do pierce damage when pulling a target.

  • Rock Golem health reduced to 965.

  • Arrogance now reads: Whenever the bearer casts a spell, taunt [2/3/4] enemies within a 2 tile radius and reduce the damage taken from the next [2/3/4] instances of normal damage by 50%.

  • Drain Essence now gives lifesteal to all allies surrounding the bearer at the start of the round.

  • Courage critical strike damage increased to [200%/300%/400%] and chance increased to 30%. Critical strike damage is now done as blunt damage.

  • Holy Orb now additionally adds [1/2/3] attack range to the bearer.

  • Burst of Life now heals surrounding allies for [5%/10%/15%] of the bearer's maximum health.


[h2]Minor Changes[/h2]

  • Units will now prioritize targets that are left/right/up/down from them over enemies that are diagonal from them. If there is a tank within 1 tile of them, they will prioritize the tank.

  • Changing a units attack speed during an attack will now be correctly applied to the current attack.

  • Added a system to display the remaining shield on a unit, along with a shield visual.

  • Added more Steam Achievements.

  • Added total matches, total wins and win rate statistics to the ranked menu.


[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

  • Steam Achievements should be unlockable again.

  • Disconnected opponents will now correctly have the disconnected icon appear above their Steam avatar in a match.

  • Arrogance's effect should no longer be visible to enemies before the planning phase has ended.
