Hello there my loyal Omega Strikers community!
Today we are happy to bring you the SEASON 5 PATCH!!! Yipee!
You know the drill by now - new season means new stuff: new battlepass levels, new balance changes, and a NEW SKIN REWARD for reaching Gold! Any guesses as to who it might be? (Hint, just scroll down the answer is in there.)

With all that being said, let us get into the dirty deets of this here patch I tell you what.

NEW SEASON! With Season 5, we’re resetting the ranks a bit (the same as last time). I’m also working on a way to try and get you to view your historical stats so you can look back on your past and reminisce on how you went crazy as Asher last season.

Ranked Rewards:

• Aqua Cannon goal explosion
  • (This isn't a seasonal reward btw, this is a forever thing that you'll unlock once you hit challenger any time in the future.)
• Top "x" titles
  • ex: Top 5, Top 10, Top 25, etc
• Mako Recolor
  • “Sakura Mako”
  • For anyone who reaches Gold!
• An emote for reaching Platinum
• An emote for playing a bunch of games
  • 25 Ranked Games to be exact
• New Battlepass Levels
  • Also please note that after a certain Battlepass level, you can no longer purchase additional levels with Ody points.

Most rewards will be based on your Season *Peak* rating, but the titles for "Top X%" will be based on your leaderboard position at the end of the season.

I’m going to be toning down Speed on a lot of things. It’s a very strong stat and has been steadily increased over the lifetime, resulting in like some “speed creep”. My hands can’t keep up anymore please help. [h3]Asher[/h3]She’s just been a little weak so Asher just gets a little buff.

• Barrier Beam [PRIMARY]
  • Cooldown :: 9.5s → 9s

[h3]Ai.Mi[/h3]A nearly must-pick/ban Striker in high elos, Ai.Mi has been going kinda crazy everywhere else as well.

• Cyber Swipe [SECONDARY]
  • Dash Range :: 600 → 550
  • Damage / Knockback :: 185 + 92.5 → 190 + 90%

[h3]Era[/h3]Era kinda fell to the wayside in all tiers. She’s not unreasonably weak but could use some love.

• Bewitching Beam [PRIMARY]
  • Ally Power granted :: 70 → 75
  • Ally Size granted :: 50 → 35
  • Enemy Power Debuff :: 70% → 75%
  • Enemy Speed Debuff :: 20% → 25%
• Flutter Fly [SECONDARY]
  • Cooldown :: 18s → 16s
  • Speed Boost:: 60% → 52.5%

[h3]Estelle[/h3]Kind of a sub-par midfielder and a sub-par goalie, Estelle gets a little tiny bit of love to bring her closer to her buddies.

• Piercing Shot [PRIMARY]
  • Cooldown :: 10s → 9s

[h3]Juliette[/h3]Jules is preforming pretty well in all tiers, even after a nerf last patch. Just want to tone her down a little tiny bit more.

• Fiery Fist [PRIMARY]
  • Damage / Knockback :: 145 + 72.5% → 145 + 72%
• Flying Phoenix [SECONDARY]
  • Damage / Knockback :: 160 + 80% → 150 + 80%

[h3]Kai[/h3]Lowering Kai’s base speed but giving him a little more juice on his speed boost so he’s not flying around always and is instead only flying around sometimes.

• Base Stats
  • Speed :: 475 → 465
• Blazing Pace [SECONDARY]
  • Buff Duration :: 4s → 4.5s

[h3]Rune[/h3]I buffed Rune last patch and he went slightly overboard. Hehe my bad.

• Banish [SPECIAL]
  • Damage / Knockback :: 270 + 135% → 270 + 130%

[h3]Vyce[/h3]Vyce is pretty near the bottom of performance in all tiers of play (but near the top in amount of people yapping about her being OP).

• Thunderstruck [SECONDARY]
  • Cooldown :: 12s → 11s
  • Damage and Knockback :: 200 (+100%) → 200(+90%)
• Powerchord [PRIMARY]
  • Enemy Speed Debuff :: 1s → 1.1s

We’re kinda cooking with awakening rotation. I’ll keep an eye on it if anything gets too crazy too quickly.

[h3]Aerials[/h3]Moving some of the dash power to projectiles.

• Dash/Blink/Haste Increase :: 80% → 75%
• Projectile Range Increase :: 40% → 42.5%

[h3]Cast to Last[/h3]CTL is the pretty much the worst performing in its class.

• Buff and Debuff duration :: 50% → 55%

[h3]Demolitionist[/h3]There’s a lot of size stuff goin' on this patch. Let’s not have it be overwhelming. Hopefully.

• Size Gain :: 25% → 20%

[h3]Glass Cannon[/h3]Ramps up and gets you to max stacks faster, but max is a little weaker.

• Gain 5 → 4 Power and 3% → 2% Speed every 2s (up to 28 Power and 14% Speed).

[h3]Magnetized Soles[/h3]A clear front-runner among Gear, Mag Soles is taking some heat with the speed changes.

• Midfield Speed Boost :: 23% → 22%

[h3]Might of the Colossus[/h3]There’s a lot of size stuff goin on this patch. Let’s not have it be overwhelming. Hopefully. Yeah I copied and pasted this. Sue me.

• Size :: 15% → 12.5%

[h3]Missile Propulsion[/h3]This one goes out to all the people who get hit by every random Luna missile. (Me)

• Damage buff :: 20% harder (4% to Core) → 22.5% harder (4.5% to core)

[h3]Primetime[/h3]Without Rapid Fire, Primetime isn’t really that great.

• Hit power reduction :: 5% → 4.5% (Core damage unchanged)

[h3]Siege Machine[/h3]Siege Machine had a 0% win rate since last patch.

• Creations :: Hit 15% → 20% harder (3% → 4% to Core).

[h3]Spark of Resilience[/h3]Clearly the worst performing spark when on its own or not paired with all the other sparks.

• Base Max Stagger :: 100 → 105

[h3]Stagger Swagger[/h3]

• Base Speed boost :: 7.5% → 7%

[h3]Stacks on Stacks[/h3]

• Speed per Stack :: 0.075% → 0.070% (10.5% Speed at Max Stacks)

A key part of this update is an exciting feature that we know you’ve been asking about for a while…

We’ve finally added voice chat to Omega Strikers, and, even better, we've partnered up with Discord to give you seamless, reliable communication features directly within the game.

It’s super simple to do, all you need is to link your Discord account to Omega Strikers and you’ll be able to happily chat away with your Goalie when they miss a save! You won’t be mean! Surely!

It’ll also import your Discord friends right to OS so you don’t have to worry about searching them up and finding them - as long as they have their Discord accounts linked.

We’ll also have it so you can chat with your buds in-game via Discord so it syncs with your account. Never miss a message again when your friend tells you to hop on!

Don’t have a Discord account? That’s chill too - you can still join voice calls and everything in-game. You’ll just be missing out on the automatic friend syncing and Discord message syncing.

Please note that this feature will only be available on the PC version of Omega Strikers at this time!


We've also got new skins for your favorite characters, balance changes, new emotes (and 2 more emote slots actually), and NEW SKINS BRO FOR REAL.

[h3]Drek’ar[/h3]Drek is near the bottom of pick rate in most tiers of play, and in higher tiers especially he’s been pretty weak. We’re giving him a slight tap to bring that up a bit.

• Xeno Cloak [SECONDARY]
  • Ability damage buff :: 25% → 30%
    • 12.5% → 15% to Core

[h3]Dubu[/h3]My tofu man here is pretty strong in every tier of play and he has a lot of people picking him. Just gonna tone him down a tiny little bit.

• Somerassault [SECONDARY]
  • Cooldown :: 17s → 18s
  • Damage :: 220 → 230

[h3]Juliette[/h3]HUGE nerf. Juliette is performing decently above average in all tiers - enough to warrant keeping an eye on if it continues. She hasn’t been at the top in a while though, so it’s chill. For now……

• Fiery Fist [PRIMARY]
  • Cooldown :: 7.5s → 8s

[h3]Kai[/h3]Kai isn’t really doing super great anywhere. Giving him a boost to his power but making sure he doesn’t go crazy with across-map snipes.

• Base stats
  • Power :: 90 → 95
• Giga Blast [SPECIAL]
  • Damage / Knockback :: 240 → 235

[h3]Mako[/h3]This Little Drummer Girl shines best when she simply has good teammates and she boosts them.

• Drum and Base [SECONDARY]
  • Haste :: 25% → 23.5%
• Ensnare Drums [SPECIAL]
  • Cooldown :: 40s → 38s

[h3]Rune[/h3]Small adjustment to Rune. More reward for landing the like hardest skill shot in the game (AT LEAST IN MY HUMBLE OPINION!!!!!)

• Unstable Anomaly [PRIMARY]
  • Pillar damage :: 187.5 + 93.75% → 180 + 90%
• Shadow Swap [SECONDARY]
  • Pillar damage :: 187.5 + 93.75% → 180 + 90%
• Banish [SPECIAL]
  • Cooldown :: 35s → 34s
  • Damage :: 260 + 130% → 270 + 135%

[h3]X[/h3]Even though it was kind of a bralwer meta, X was not feeling too hot. This should give him a little bit more mobility around the map but not make him rely on a strike reset crutch.

• Bull Rush [SECONDARY]
  • Cooldown: 15s → 14s
• X Maximus! [SPECIAL]
  • Cooldown :: 37.5s → 38s

[h3]Built Different[/h3]Among size awakenings, built different was built different.

• Size :: 30% → 25%

[h3]Explosive Enterance[/h3]This is generally pretty weak except on some characters (Zentaro) and some characters could use an indirect buff (Zentaro)

• Damage :: 12.5% → 13% (2.5% → 3.25% core)

[h3]Magnetized Soles[/h3]Far and away the best Gear everywhere, just gonna bring it down the tiniest tad to give the others more appeal.

• Speed :: 25% → 23%

[h3]Super Surge[/h3]Super Surge is underperformaing compared to its class, but I’m not trying to touch speed too much atm.

• Damage to core :: 6% → 7.5%

[h3]Vicious Vambrace[/h3]The least popular of the gear, Vambrace is often left to the wayside. This may help a touch in a more KO-focused meta.

• Stagger restore from hitting Core :: 9% → 10%

• Ascended poses with skins should now properly display.
• All titles should now display correctly in game.
• Various small bug fixes

We've got a couple missions for you to get stuff like the coveted JUNO CLOWN emote for when you want to make your teammates laugh :) It won't be toxic :)

We’re serving you up the fattest micropatch of the day today, it’s pretty low carb and features things like BUFFS and NERFS and stuff like that. You know how it is.
We’ve actually got a tiny little surprise for you cookin' in our proverbial oven so keep your eyes peeled for that as we wrap things up there!!
Alright then for now, let’s just jump into this micropatch.

[h3]Asher [/h3]Asher is not only the queen of a lot of your hearts, she’s also been the queen of the field. We’re toning her down as both goalie and forward to keep her in line. Don’t worry tho, she’s still plenty toned.

  • Power: 125 → 120
• Breakthrough [SECONDARY]
  • Cooldown :: 15s → 16s
• Barrier Beam [PRIMARY]
  • Cooldown :: 9s → 9.5s

[h3]Drek’ar[/h3]It’s getting close to winter so Drek needs to warm up a bit. (He’s a cold blooded kil - erm - lizard).

• Molten Bolt [SPECIAL]
  • DOT Damage :: 18(+9% Power) →20(+10% Power)
    • (Full duration burn damage :: 265.5 → 295)

[h3]Estelle [/h3]Her speed was tuned down last patch. She landed a little weaker than we liked so we tuned up her power a bit elsewhere. (What is she like a muscle car? wtf)

• Crystal Thorns [SPECIAL]
  • Damage & Knockback :: 120 (+60% Power) → 130 (+65% Power)
  • Core Knockback :: 1220 (+120% Power) → 1240 (+130% Power)
• Piercing Shot [PRIMARY]
  • Damange & Knockback :: 180 (+90% Power) → 185 (+92.5% Power)
  • Core Knockback :: 1340 (+180% Power) → 1350 (+185% Power)

[h3]Octavia[/h3]Last patch hit her a little harder than we intended so we’re splitting the difference and giving her a little gift of stagger for good measure. It’s ain’t OCTober without and OCTavia buff lol. Octavia Omega Strikers. October.

• Base Stats
  • Stagger Growth :: 125 → 200
• Flow State [SECONDARY]
  • Base Speed:: 20% → 24%
  • Speed per second :: 2% → 1.8%

[h3]Rasmus[/h3]We buffed Rasmus recently but now it’s time for the pendulum to swing the other way. (see what I did there)

• Pendulum Swing [PRIMARY]
  • Cooldown :: 8→ 9
  • Damage & Knockback :: 190 (95% Power) → 185 (+92.5% Power)
  • Core Knockback :: 1360 (190% Power) → 1350 (+185% Power)

[h3]Rune[/h3]Rune.

• Shadow Swap [SECONDARY]
  • Cooldown 10s → 11s

[h3]Vyce[/h3]Vyce has been going through a bit of a rough patch. We’re going to try to smooth out that roughness with a kind buff. You’re welcome Vyce!

  • Damage & Knockback :: 170 (+85% Power) → 175 (+87.5% Power)
  • Core Knockback :: 1320 (+170% Power) → 1330 (+175% Power)

[h3]Zentaro[/h3]The gap between Zentaro’s highs and lows was a bit wider than we’d like. We're giving him some extra damage on imperfect Slice and Dices to make him a little less feast or famine.

    • (damage on a sour spot hit 80 → 108)
  • (Damage when hitting sweet spot and core Knockback unchanged)

[h3]Catalyst[/h3]Energy Awakenings go together like chocolate and peanut butter. Sorry if you’re allergic to peanuts tho. My heart goes out to you.

• Energy gained on light hit taken :: 1.5 → 1.2
• Energy gained on normal hit taken :: 4.5 → 3.6

[h3]Fight or Flight[/h3]After the Slick Kicks nerf, Fight or Flight was once again better Slick Kicks.

• Speed boost duration :: 1.75s → 1.5s

[h3]One-Two Punch[/h3]

• Hit power increase :: 28% → 26 %
• Core hit power increase :: 14% → 13%
• Activation window :: 2.5s → 2s

[h3]Siphoning Wand[/h3]Siphoning Wand was more like bottom feeder wand because it sucked idk sorry. We’re making it a little better now so people can win when they pick it.

• Normal hit burn :: 5% → 6%
• Light hit burn :: 1.66% → 2%
• Healing multiplier :: 150% → 125%
  • (Actual healing amount unchanged, because that's how math works!!)

[h3]Timeless Creator[/h3]

• Duration :: 75% → 70%
• Size increase :: 40% → 35%
