New Landscape Materials
I was forced to do a complete change out of the landscape textures due to issues with Runtime Vertical Texturing and Tiling in the previous system. It was worth the effort though as look game looks great now. Unfortunately, the cave will be inaccessible until I create a new opening in the landscape layer. There is still some fine tuning and optimising to be done.

Territory – Alpha 6.19 – Performance Optimisations and Weather Effects

Large performance improvements in this update. I needed to dig into making the landscape weather effects work with the much more performant landscape method using Runtime Virtual Texturing (RVT). It makes a huge difference to the playability of the game.

 • Improved LOD’s for all of the large background mountain and cliff meshs
