Here's the Content Plan!

First of all, I'd like to say thank you to all the playtesters. With your help, I've been able to iron out most bugs and balancing issues - the game is in a good state now and I feel confident in expanding the available content.

So here's my content plan for upcoming patches. I plan to participate in Steam Fest 2024 (in early Feb). Please keep in mind that the plan can change.

This Week: Reborn is Here!

This week's patch notes are a bit shorter - this is because one of them is quite a big item: reborn. The prestige system has been lacking since the Playtest 2, but not any more!

This Week: Content, Content and Content

I've decided to do a content-focused week and there have been lots of big additions - especially Petra / Time Warp, which allows you to convert your offline time to warp and use it to accelerate your empire.

Content: New Wonder: Petra - Generate time warp when you are offline, which you can use to accelerate your empire
Content: Time Warp: cost 1 warp for each cycle and accelerate your empire to run at 2x speed (controlled by Petra)
Content: New Great Person: Empress Wu Zetian - +1 Transport Capacity Multiplier
Content: New Great Person: Rurik - +2 Happiness
Balance: Tang Of Shang: +0.5 Science from Idle Workers
QoL: Transport lines will update in real-time
Bugfix: Fix warehouse autopilot mode will result in storage overflow

Content: New Wonder: Hanging Garden - +1 Builder Capacity Multiplier. Adjacent aqueducts get +1 Production, Storage and Worker Capacity multiplier

QoL: Add a progress in loading screen when calculating offline production (this will make the overall calculation a bit slower but the game will not appear stuck)

This Week: Lots of Balancing and Offline Production!

Another budy week of playtesting and lots of updates! The highlight would be offline production finally arrived. Compared to Industry Idle (and tons of other games) where an estimate is calculated, CivIdle actually runs the full simulation for offline time!
