[Known Issue] EOS (Epic Online Services) Login Issue.

[p][/p][p]Hello, this is the IfSunSets development team.[/p][p][/p][p]We would like to inform you that some players are currently experiencing multiplayer connection issues in IfSunSets.[/p][p][/p][p]At the moment, even when the Epic Games Launcher is installed and the user is logged in, a prompt asking to connect to Epic Games may appear every time the game starts, and authentication may intermittently fail.[/p][p][/p][p]This issue appears to be a temporary problem related to maintenance on the EOS (Epic Online Services) side.[/p][p]

[p][/p][p][/p][p]Hello,[/p][p]This is the IfSunSets development team.[/p][p][/p][p]After much consideration, we have decided to postpone the large-scale ocean update that was originally scheduled for January.[/p][p][/p][p]We sincerely apologize to everyone who has been waiting for this update.
We are truly sorry for not being able to meet your expectations and enthusiasm.[/p][p][/p][p]With this update, our goal was to deliver a seamless gameplay experience that naturally connects land and sea, a new layer of enjoyment through ocean exploration, a massively expanded map, and optimization improvements that would allow stable 60 FPS gameplay on mid-range PCs without stuttering. [/p][p]From the very beginning, we promised ourselves that we would not compromise on these goals.[/p][p][/p][p]However, we must admit that the current build has not yet reached a level we can confidently stand behind.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]\[New Content Planned for the Update][/h3]

[p][/p][p]All of the content listed above is currently in the final stages of development.[/p][p]Our top priorities right now are ensuring that everything integrates naturally through the main story, and refining balance and optimization so that the experience enhances gameplay rather than disrupting it.[/p][p]Above all, we believe that each piece of content must feel meaningful, polished, and deep on its own.[/p][p][/p][p]However, to be completely honest, the current state of the update has not yet reached the level we originally envisioned.[/p][p]In particular, optimizing the vastly expanded underwater map has proven to be an unprecedented challenge for us. The main story does not flow as naturally as it should, and the sense of immersion is falls short of our expectations[/p][p]We were also not satisfied with the balance players would experience when facing the greatly increased variety of monsters, and we came to feel that even the core balance of the currently live version of the game needs to be reworked from the ground up.[/p][p]In short, we believe that all content still requires additional polishing in order to deliver the complete and high-quality experience we are striving for.[/p][p][/p][p]Releasing the update in its current state would not be enough to deliver the “completely transformed game experience” we set out to create[/p][p]We want every player who has purchased and is playing the game to truly feel that their time and money was well spent. For us to reach a result that we can genuinely stand behind and be satisfied with, we believe that additional time for content polishing is still necessary.[/p][p][/p][p]Even if it takes more time,[/p][p]we promise to deliver the game at a much higher level of quality than it is now,
and to repay your time and trust with an experience that is truly worth it.[/p][p][/p][p]Next, we would like to share information regarding the upcoming hotfix.[/p][p]Much of the feedback many of you have sent us will also be reflected in this update.[/p]

[p][/p][p]The items listed above are part of a broader set of overall fixes and improvements currently in progress.[/p][p]In addition, approximately 95% of the bugs reported so far have already been fixed.[/p][p]However, while preparing this update, the map and world structure have undergone large-scale changes, resulting in significant differences between the current live version and our internal development build.[/p][p]Because of this, applying hotfixes at this stage could potentially cause unexpected issues or data corruption in the live world. For this reason, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily pause hotfixes.[/p][p]Once this update is applied, the live world and development version will be realigned. From that point forward, we will be able to resume hotfixes freely.[/p][p]After the update, we plan to return to frequent, intensive weekly hotfixes to stabilize the game as quickly as possible.[/p][p]All bugs that you continue to report are being carefully logged and tracked.
