Constance Update 1.1 Out Now

Hello everybody,
[p][/p][p]It's been a minute![/p][p]Today we can finally share with you that our first big update for Constance just went LIVE!ːsteamhappyː[/p][p] [/p][h3]Let's start with the Patch Notes:[/h3]
  • [p]Full Arabic language support included[/p]
  • [p]Various Map improvements including exact tracking of Constance's position within a room, visual indicator of areas discovered with the camera, player trail that shows you your travelled path, some improved room shapes, a new zoom function for the local map and exact Snapshot positions within the map rooms[/p]
  • [p]Intro, Credits, Cutscenes & Narrative Minigames can now be skipped with a new pause menu[/p]
  • [p]New Cursed Game Mode (unlocks after beating the game and serves as our game's "hard mode")[/p]
  • [p]New Overthinker Modifier (our game's "permadeath" modifier - you only get 1 life!)[/p]
  • [p]Chase Sequence: Camera has been unlocked, players can now outrun the boss[/p]
  • [p]Chase Sequence: Level design adjustments for fairer timings and less frustrating moments[/p]
  • [p]Jester & Jester Encore: players can now attack ALL cards in ALL patterns to damage the bosses[/p]
  • [p]Jester Encore: Cards are no longer invisible, patterns were improved[/p]
  • [p]Lord Koba: Timings and some attacks were improved[/p]
  • [p]A variety of other bosses were improved in terms of timings, awkward pauses and anticipations (i.e. High Patia now communicates properly that she heals while hanging from the ceiling)[/p]
  • [p]Added a UI element that communicates better what is actually happening at Jackie's tent[/p]
  • [p]Added a completion screen at the end of the game[/p]
  • [p]Various new accessibility options[/p]
  • [p]Various difficulty and economy balancing adjustments[/p]
  • [p]Various bug fixes[/p]
  • [p]Various smaller performance improvements[/p]
[p][/p][p]We've been working really hard on improving the game as much as we can, incorporating [/p][p]as much of your feedback from Steam, Discord and socials as possible. Изначально проект студии Blue Backpack явно должен был заполнить вакуум до выхода Hollow Knight: Silksong, однако он опоздал на поезд релизов. Constance посвящена истории про выгорание и тяжелый труд иллюстратора, которая буквально тонет в рутине, параллельно фантазируя о мире ярких цветов.

[p]Hey everybody![/p][p]Before the team will head into a well deserved winter break we wanted to let you know what we have planned for Constance in the next couple of months.[/p][p] [/p][p][/p][p]We heard and analyzed your feedback and are attempting everything we can to adress the biggest issues. [/p][p]Besides obvious accessibility options like a better readable map and skippable cutscenes we are also looking into our boss fight designs and will smoothen out some of the rougher edges in terms of timing, pacing and balancing that we unfortunetely didn't have the time to perfect before the 1.0 launch. Patch Notes – 1.0.3.98778

[p]Hey everyone,

Today our second Patch for Constance is going live!
We fixed the most pressing bugs you reported to us and already started with some map improvements. (More to come!)

When buying the Architect's Blueprint item from the shop you now get a visual indicator on the levels on your map that communicate if all secrets/collectibles have been found in a room. [/p][p][/p][p]Here are the full patch notes:[/p]
  • [p]Level-based completion tracking added to the map (unlocks via "Architect's Blueprint")[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the "Inner Canvas" achievement (if you qualify, load into any save to receive it)[/p]
  • [p]PC local time shenanigans no longer break savegame loading[/p]
  • [p]Snapshot button is now rebindable on controller[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where Jackie's quest stayed incomplete even though you had all rewards (talk to her again if that's the case for you)[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug where Palettus sometimes glitched through the door, causing a softlock[/p]
  • [p]Broken savegames are now properly ignored during load[/p]
  • [p]A handful of additional fixes[/p]
[p][/p][p]In just a few days we will also release our "Post Launch Roadmap" for Constance so you are aware about the things you can look forward to in the upcoming months.
