Update 3.7.0

[p]Throne and Liberty Update 3.7.0 downtime will begin at 10:30 p.m. PT (5:30 a.m. UTC) on November 5 and last approximately 3 hours. It includes ranked Battlegrounds, the party and guild ping system, and bug fixes. Find the full list of changes below.[/p][p][/p][h3]Battlegrounds[/h3][p]Ranked mode is now available for Battlegrounds![/p]
  • [p]The ranked pre-season is estimated to last 6 weeks.[/p]
  • [p]Initially, ranked mode will only be available 16:30 ~ 19:30 and 22:00 ~ 01:00 local server time daily.[/p]
  • [p]Ranked mode can only be queued for as an individual, entering with a pre-formed party is not permitted.[/p]
  • [p]Additional items are now available at the Combat Coin Merchant, locked behind a specific ranking requirement.[/p]
  • [p]If not enough players are available to start a 24 vs 24 Battlegrounds match, an 18 vs 18 match will be started instead.[/p]
  • [p]Once matched with 36 players, 12 additional players will be searched for before the match starts.[/p]
  • [p]If the remaining 12 players cannot be found, the match will commence as 18v18 with a new score limit of 80,000.[/p]
  • [p]Healing teammates now grants points within Battlegrounds matches.[/p]
  • [p]10 points, times by any active multipliers, will be granted for every 50,000 health healed.[/p]
  • [p]Score is only granted for effective healing, over-healing will not grant points.[/p]
  • [p]Equipped weapon combinations are now displayed on the Scoreboard.[/p]
[p][/p][h3]Party and Guild Ping System[/h3]
  • [p]A new ping system is available to Parties and Guilds, allowing players to place down a temporary indicator.[/p]
    • [p]4 different ping types are available: Attack, Warning, Move, Support.[/p]
  • [p]Pings will be displayed for 5 seconds before disappearing.[/p]
  • [p]On Mouse and Keyboard, shortcuts to access this feature will be unbound by default.[/p]
  • [p]Key bindings to open the Ping menu can be adjusted in the Shortcuts and Features tabs of the Settings menu.[/p]
  • [p]With a Controller, pings can be accessed through a new tab in the Ring Menu.[/p]
  • [p]When viewing the Ping menu, a shortcut will be available to switch between Party/Guild pings.[/p]
  • [p]For Parties, new settings within the Party Management window are available controlling who can use pings.[/p]
  • [p]For Guilds, these settings can be found in the Guild Settings menu.[/p]
[p][/p][h3]Lifeskills[/h3]
  • [p]Minutrite and Gigantrite lamps and bed furniture have been added.[/p]
  • [p]This furniture will require new Divine Beast Crystals obtained from either Gigantrite or Minutrite, alongside rare gathered materials, Vitalstones, and Additives.[/p]
  • [p]New floating islands can now be found around Solisium, only accessible by riding on Gigantrite or Minutrite.[/p]
  • [p]A mix of existing and new gatherable nodes will be available on each island granting all tiers of gathered materials with increased yield and higher chances to receive Rare materials.[/p]
  • [p]These islands will also have nodes available which can be collected to acquire Vitalstones and the new Divine Beast Crystals.[/p]
  • [p]Divine Beast Crystals obtained directly from Gigantrite and Minutrite will be untradeable, but will have a chance to be tradeable when obtained from the floating islands.[/p]
  • [p]This new furniture is Epic tier and will grant significantly higher Housing Power compared to Rare tier furniture.[/p]
  • [p]All newly available furniture has a small chance to grant a Great Success when crafted, resulting in a tradeable variant.[/p]
  • [p]Gathering now grants full XP regardless of your current gathering level.[/p]
  • [p]3x Common tier materials are now received when the respective Gathering lifeskill is level 15.[/p]
  • [p]Gathered materials can now be dissolved to receive a lower-tier material at a 1:1 ratio.[/p]
  • [p]The chance of a gatherable leather node dropping from an enemy has been decreased from 40% to 20%, however the quantity of materials received have been roughly doubled.[/p]
  • [p]A new processing queue slot is now available upon reaching level 8 in the respective Processing skill.[/p]
  • [p]A set of 5x Furniture Tickets can now be purchased from the Furniture Workshop Merchant with Sollant.[/p]
  • [p]Added tags indicating the type of furniture displayed displayed at the bottom of the item tooltip.[/p]
  • [p]Search bars in the Manage Storage and Arrange Housing menus can now be used to search for furniture tags.[/p]
  • [p]Players that own multiple houses can now teleport to each from the Manage My House menu.[/p]
  • [p]Interaction sounds have been added to various light fixtures within houses.[/p]
  • [p]The quantity of gatherable nodes on Minutrite will now scale with the tier reached during the Healing Touch for Divine Beasts Dynamic Event.[/p]

  • [p]Skill Core Imprint Scrolls can now be purchased from the Raid Goods Exchange Merchant with Sollant.[/p]
  • [p]The recipe to craft Skill Core Imprint Scrolls has been removed.[/p]
  • [p]Equipment Transferring is now available for Heroic Armor and Accessories of different types (i.e. transferring a Heroic Ring to a Heroic Bracelet, or a Heroic Helmet to a Heroic Cloak).[/p]
  • [p]Heroic gear can now be used within the Sync menu, allowing T3 gear and other Heroic items to by synced to it.[/p]

  • [p]All messages sent in this channel will be displayed as a banner at the top of the screen for each member in the Vanguard.[/p]
  • [p]Hyperboost: Field and Arch Boss events on Hyperboost servers will now only include players from other Hyperboost servers.[/p]
  • [p]Dimensional Trials: The percentage chance of receiving a Golden Chest has been increased:[/p]
    • [p]Tiers 1~5: Percentage chance is equal to the tier number[/p]

  • [p]Material Transmutation: Added settings to automatically transmute materials upon reaching a specified level, also allowing selection of a specific equipment type to receive as a result.[/p]

  • [p]Arch Boss: Combat Power granted by enhanced Arch Boss weapons has been increased.[/p]
  • [p]Skill Cores: Crafting recipes have been added allowing T2 Deluzhnoa and Giant Cordy Skill Cores to be upgraded to their T3 variants.[/p]
  • [p]Combat Power: Enhanced the tooltip shown when hovering over the Combat Power value in the Character Info menu to display Combat Power sources and the maximum value each can provide.[/p]
  • [p]Items: Enemy loot can once again be picked up by walking over it.[/p]
  • [p]Cooking: Meals placed in Storage can now be used when turning in Cooking Contracts.[/p]
  • [p]Cooking: Recipe items that can only be obtained once can no longer be sold to vendors.[/p]
  • [p]Cooking: A system message has been added when attempting to turn in a locked item to complete a contract.[/p]
  • [p]Cooking: If you already own a Recovery Crystal recipe, then the respective recipe can no longer be purchased from the Contract Coin Merchant.[/p]
  • [p]Cooking: Cooking vendors are now shown in the How to Acquire menu for various items.[/p]
  • [p]Path of Ascension: Adjusted Mission 13 in Step 3 to "Kill 20 monsters" instead of "Defeat a Party Matchmaking Boss".[/p]
  • [p]Gate of Infinity: Achievement Rewards will no longer be displayed in the ranking rewards popup when a Gate of Infinity dungeon rotation has ended.[/p]
  • [p]Dynamic Events: Increased the requirements to reach tier 3 in the Healing Touch for Divine Beasts co-op event.[/p]
  • [p]Lithograph Book: Improved the owned and required quantity display of Meals and Fish.[/p]
  • [p]Crafting: Favorites will no longer be reset upon leaving a cross-server instance.[/p]
  • [p]Amitoi House: The Content Notifications panel on the HUD is now displayed while inside the Amitoi House.[/p]
  • [p]Matchmaking: Penalties granted by leaving a Dungeon before defeating the boss are no longer account-wide.[/p]
  • [p]Vanguard: Fixed an issue occasionally causing HP indicators shown on the Vanguard HUD to be inaccurate.[/p]
  • [p]Controller: Fixed an issue preventing Weapon Skins from being equipped in the Illusion Workshop.[/p]
  • [p]Skills: Fixed an issue causing the number of charges a skill has to be incorrect when 2 or more skills that have charges were present on the skill hotbar.[/p]

Battle Pass: Revenant's Star

  • [p]Daylight Savings Time will impact European server regions after maintenance, three days earlier than real-world adjustments due to the need for downtime to shift server schedules.[/p]
  • [p]With these adjustments to European servers, your local reset time will shift 1 hour earlier, remaining fixed at 08:00 UTC.[/p]
  • [p]Dynamic Events, Riftstone/Boonstone, Bosses, Siege, etc. will adjust to maintain their current local time slots and the scheduled time will be visible in the in-game schedule.[/p]
  • [p]Battle Pass, Arena, Weekly Mission, and NPC resets will shift time 1 hour earlier on European servers, remaining at 08:00 UTC.[/p]

  • [p]After maintenance is completed, characters on servers newly added with 3.0.0 will be able to transfer to Legacy servers. Characters on new servers can no longer transfer to other new servers.[/p]

    • [p]UI has been improved to allow direct viewing of extract lists when selecting material items.[/p]
    • [p]The amount of Blessing Points used during enhancement attempts is now displayed.[/p]
    • [p]Items that are locked, have runes applied, or are equipped in equipment sets will appear darkened in the material list.[/p]
  • [p]Cooking: Material merchants have been added near cooking hearths in Kastleton, Vienta, and Herba Village, as well as Stonegard Castle. General Merchants will no longer sell cooking ingredients.[/p]

  • [p]Targeting: Removed some unnecessary effect icons when targeting other PCs (such as Gigantrite buffs, Guild Skills).[/p]

Throne and Liberty's new Orb weapon is pushing its rivals out of the MMORPG

Following its recent reinvigoration with Solisium's Awakening, Throne and Liberty has plenty of plans on the table for what's next. NCSoft and Amazon Games have now unleashed their long-awaited player housing and Battlegrounds PvP features, and they're gradually pushing Throne and Liberty into a space where it can compete with the best MMORPGs in town. There's some bad news for lovers of its new Orb support weapon, however, as it's about to face the nerf council. Plus, a planned overhaul to the artifact system has been delayed.
