3/03, 3/01 Update: Shield Changes and Increased Soldier Deployment in the Dojo

Update Notice for Zundamon Castle
We are providing a summary of the updates for 3/01 and 3/03.
[Content Addition and Specification Changes]
1. Increased the number of soldiers that can be placed in the dojo.
2. Only melee units can now attack enemy buildings. Additionally, melee units will immediately destroy the building when they attack.
3. Improved the accuracy of enemy line-of-sight detection. The target has been changed from the center of the building to the middle of the building’s wall.
4. With the ease of leveling up, a limit has been added to the number of retries for Hard difficulty and above (maximum 3 retries).
5. Slightly enhanced the level of enemies in the regular raid of the "Shura" mode. The HP multiplier, which had been reduced, has been restored to its original value.
6. Added variations to the enemy composition in regular raids, such as a focus on ranged units.
7. An icon will now be displayed on the time bar during combat turns.
8. Reduced the range bonuses previously applied to buildings based on their width (the old specification assumed all Zundamon would be placed at the center of buildings, so a bonus was applied according to the building’s width).
[Bug Fixes]
1. Fixed an issue where the icons and progress bars for armor smithing, gunsmithing, and bridge dismantling were hidden behind buildings.
2. Fixed an issue where buildings could be selected through blocks.
3. Fixed a bug where, if the raid scale exceeded a certain point, only the first unit of the group would appear (e.g., only bandit swords appeared during a bandit raid).
4. Fixed a bug where canceling construction from the construction panel would trigger dismantling work.
5. Fixed an issue where enemies could get stuck on stairs.
6. Fixed a bug where soldiers within the range of the training field could not gain experience.

2/28 Update: Addition of Dojos, Changes in Combat EXP, and Faster Combat Start

Update Announcement for Zundamon Castle
This update is the official implementation of the features that were previously introduced in the beta version. In the previous version, the ports placed on land were functional, but this issue has been fixed in the current version. Please note that if you were using ports on land, this change will affect you.
[Content Additions & Changes]
1. Added dojo techniques and various dojo buildings.
2. Chinese translations have been corrected by a native speaker, making them more natural and upgrading the translations. Fixed translation omissions.
3. Fixed enemy placement processing and significantly reduced its weight (it was very slow due to Lua being involved in the process).
4. Changed the enemy placement process, allowing for a wider range of enemy levels. When enemy levels are low, more enemies will appear, and when enemy levels are high, fewer will appear.
5. Added a feature to display the average enemy level during combat.
6. Fixed the challenge enemies to spawn from multiple directions when set to Hard or higher.
7. Increased the number of foot soldier appearances in Hard and Inferno levels.
8. Increased the number of samurai appearances in Inferno levels.
9. Reduced the HP of placed shields.
10. Added a feature where placing soil blocks on top of grass, fallen leaves, or snow blocks turns them into soil blocks.
11. Adjusted the climbing speed of all enemy and ally units to half.

[Bug Fixes]
1. Fixed an issue where ports were working on land instead of only on water.
2. Fixed an issue where the experience gained from attacking enemies was always 1.
3. Fixed an issue where the tooltips for the Carpenter's Hut and Craftsman's Hut were not displayed.
4. Fixed an issue where the game would slow down when increasing a building's level by 10 if money was stored in the corresponding warehouse.
5. Fixed an issue where placing a double or triple turret at the edge of the map would cause the Zundamon placed on stone drop traps to extend beyond the map and cause severe lag.
6. Corrected the latitude and longitude of Yamagata Castle.
7. Fixed dojo-related bugs that occurred in the beta version.
8. Fixed an issue where the Hima Zundamon would be pushed out of the map due to physics calculations, causing the game to freeze.

2/23, 2/25 β update: Addition of dojo and speed-up of battle initiation.

Zundamon Castle Update Announcement
This is an update announcement for Zundamon Castle. The contents of the updates from 2/23 and 2/25 have been summarized here. This time, due to the impact of fixing a major bug, the game's difficulty has changed significantly, so the update will initially be available only in the beta version.
Note: If you want to play the beta version, select Zundamon Castle in the Steam app, then choose the beta version from the gear icon.

[Content Added & Changes to Specifications]
1. Added dojo techniques and various dojo buildings
2. The Chinese translation has been upgraded to a more natural version by having a native speaker correct it
3. Enemy placement processing has been fixed and greatly optimized (it was very slow due to Lua being in between).
4. Enemy placement has been modified so that there is a range of enemy levels. When the enemy level is low, many enemies will appear, and when the enemy level is high, the number of enemies will decrease.
5. The HP of placed shields has been reduced.

[Bug Fixes]
1. Fixed a bug where the experience points gained when attacking enemies were always 1
2. Fixed a bug where the tooltips for the Carpenter's Hut and Artisan's Hut were not displayed
3. Fixed a bug where the game would slow down when increasing a building's level by 10 if there was money in that building's warehouse
4. Fixed a bug where placing a double turret or triple turret at the map's edge would cause the Zundamon placed in the stone dropper to extend beyond the map and cause the game to slow down significantly
5. Fixed the latitude and longitude of Yamagata Castle

2/18, 2/21 Update: Added Artisan's Hut and Carpenter's Hut.

Zundamon Castle Update Notice
This is a summary of the updates from 2/18 and 2/21.
[Content Additions & Specification Changes]
1. Added Artisan's Hut and Carpenter's Hut technologies and buildings.
2. Increased the amount of fire that rain extinguishes. Fixed so that rain becomes more likely to occur based on the number of fires during a fire disaster.
3. Fixed to update soldier panel HP in real-time.
4. The blocks beneath buildings no longer affect movement speed, but wall-type buildings such as fences are now excluded from this rule and will affect movement speed when crossing them.
5. Slightly reduced the water damage bonus for more realistic castle design (changed from 3x damage to 2.7x). The balance will not make castles with full water coverage the strongest, and further fine-tuning may happen to avoid that.
6. Fixed so that units now enter the farmer's hut from the front when a farmer is selected as the destination.
7. Expanded the range of the curved house.
8. When removing a road, it now returns to the original block. Instead, blocks can no longer be placed on top of roads.
[Bug Fixes]
1. Fixed a bug where the tooltip text for the food selection button was incorrect.
2. Fixed a bug where soldiers would spawn again after saving mid-construction of a barracks and loading the game, causing the barracks to appear complete.
3. Fixed a bug where the fishing hut and rice fields would reference the neighboring water before relocation.
4. Fixed a bug where removing a warehouse didn’t subtract its contents from the total number of items.
5. Fixed a bug where the version display in the title screen would incorrectly break into a new line.
6. Fixed a bug where the credit text would overflow and overlap with other text.
7. Fixed the notation for "Tohoku Itako" (incorrectly written as "Tohoku Itako") and resolved an issue where saved data with Tohoku Itako previously added would load incorrectly or prevent Tohoku Itako from joining events.
8. Fixed a bug where fall damage would occur even when falling into water. Fall damage has been slightly reduced.
9. Fixed a bug after the 2/18 update where roads placed on top of each other wouldn't return to the original block after being removed.
