House of Legacy | Upcoming Updates & Development Roadmap

Hey everyone,

It’s been just over a week since House of Legacy launched in Early Access! Over the past few days, we’ve been hard at work on two things: improving the game based on your feedback and exploring new ideas for future content.

We know there’s still a lot to polish, and we are truly grateful for your support, your patience, and the incredible 1,800+ feedback forms we’ve received so far!

This coming week, we’ll keep focusing on fixing bugs and improving the core experience. After that, we’ll gradually start shifting toward new content, while continuing to tweak and refine things along the way to keep everything running smoothly.

We also wanted to give you a sneak peek at our development roadmap. Each item comes with exciting gameplay ideas we can’t wait to bring to life.

The feedback survey will stay open during all of EA, so feel free to keep sending your thoughts. If something stands out or sparks joy, we’ll try to get it in as soon as we can!

Your input is what makes this journey special. Let’s keep building House of Legacy together and shape it into something we all love.

Update V0.7.291

- Added a clan list to the map. You can see relationships and click to view any clan.

- Imperial battle events now display troop numbers and morale for both sides, helping players decide whether to join the campaign.

- Fixed a bug where farms couldn’t produce meat after switching to rent collection. For affected older save files, there are two possible solutions:
A. Significantly increase the number of livestock farmers to restore output. (The issue was caused by an increased demand for livestock farmers after the upgrade.)
B. After updating, export the farm blueprint, clear the farm, then re-import the blueprint. Make sure the blueprint is saved to your desktop or a subfolder on a hard drive, [not the root directory], as the game doesn't have permission to read from there. Fish production may be lower than before, as a previous upgrade mistakenly increased its output. This has now been corrected.

- Fixed a bug where removing buildings took more prestige than building them gave.

- Fixed some incorrect tooltip text.

Patch Notes V0.7.29

- Added descriptions for all character traits to help players understand their effects.
- Added tooltip descriptions for all official positions (hover over position names in the appointment interface).
- Added more guidance tips to the loading screen.
- Added visible stat bonuses when assigning a private tutor to clan members.
- Added coming-of-age popups: age 8 prompts private school entry; adulthood prompts marriage arrangement.
- Fixed bug where a character could flirt with themselves.
- Fixed icon mismatch for the Turtleback Wall.
- Fixed estate name overflowing UI frame after renaming.
- Fixed occasional freeze when sowing discord among rebels.
- Fixed error when selecting certain starting locations.
