Update 0.22.1

Hello everyone! The game was just updated with version 0.22.1

This is a bigger update, compared to previous small patches. I wanted to take some time to add something substantial. Will probably release these bigger updates each week or two in the future.




New content:

  • Dark and mysterious gate in the cave of the Necromancer are now active! You are going to need to gather three unique items to open them though. If you want some hint, here it is: Check out Lazarian temple again, and replay Elsmut and Void quests, trying to make the worst choices
  • New type of abilities - tear of the gods abilities. They become available only if you choose to break tear artifacts and consume their power. At the moment only 2 abilities available, but the list will grow in the future
  • Added two new world bosses for Tranquil Strand zone
  • Added a few new enemy groups on the beach for pirates and Lazarian. Pirate ships now have fixed collisions and some pirates on them
  • Added missing cutscenes for Underwater Throne dungeon
  • Two new achievements


Gameplay changes:

  • You can now see all available abilities without putting skill points into skill bar first
  • Added voice volume slider
  • Increased health for some bosses in multiplayer
  • World events now scale their objectives for amount of players in game. This makes making most world events quicker in solo and longer in groups
  • Killing Mervin will now give you your house
  • Flying with storm magic now allow to fly down with X button and increase speed with new talent
  • Earth elemental now scales from conjuring magic aswell as minion power
  • Fire scales with dot damage stat correctly
  • Mask of the ocean now correctly summons water elementals
  • Changed warhorn effects for more appropriate
  • Aimed shot now pierces through enemies but doesnt pierce through solid objects
  • Wind cooldown and mana price increased


Bug fixes:
  • Fixed game reading input while typing character names
  • Void quest now correctly completes after killing Gerhart in the Hallucination way
  • Fixed bleed applying to bleed immune enemies
  • Fixed visual bug happening after triggering dog petting cutscene too many times
  • Fixed few visual bugs with Dog's honor quest
  • Fixed bugs with two players talking with different NPCs in coop at the same time
  • Fixed companion names not saving sometimes
  • Fixed staff projectiles impacting player model sometimes
  • Fixed visual bugs with flickering in the world
  • Fixed the problem with createing the game when the same game was already created in lobby
  • Fixed the problem with not rebinding swith weapon key in main menu
  • Fixed the problem with enemy loot not appearing sometimes
  • Fixed health and mana regeneration during sleeping
  • Fixed wrong damage calculations for some bard abilities
  • Fixed few small bugs and issues

Patch 0.21.50

Hello everyone! The game was updated with version 0.21.50:

We are starting to address some balance issues and improve overall gameplay for some of the skill trees.


Overall stamina regen increased by 150%

Melee:

  • Constant whirlwind didnt scale normally with all weapons, so now it scales from single base value. THe speed of ability slightly decreased
  • Fixed the issue when some ultimate abilities which require rage, removed rage but didnt trigger


Archery:

  • Increased base arrow speed by 150%
  • Aimed shot damage was increased, not it pierces through multiple enemies
  • All kicks work faster
  • All evasion abilities now move player further and also restore some of your dodge stamina
  • Rain of arrows cooldown reduced from 30 to 3
  • Master archer now requires 3 stamina per shot instead of 5, and also allows you to shoot every time you dodge


Earth magic:

  • Magma shot cooldown reduced from 5 to 1
  • Fire spikes now correctly rotate you towards the camera view
  • New ability: Earth elemental


Dark magic:

  • Base power of your skeletons increased slightly
  • Two new abilities: Bone shield and Bone hand


Music:

  • Acrobatic bard passive now allows you to sprint in addition to dodge
  • Chords accumulation speed icnreased for March ability
  • Shocking song damage increased
  • Added two new abilities: Blast off and Enraging Melody



Other changes:
  • Added potatoes to the vegetble merchant in Free City
  • Reduced thin pelt requirements for lower level leatherworking recipes




Bug fixes:

  • Fixed few issues with journal
  • Fixed few small bugs and improved stability

Patch 0.21.48

Hello everyone! The game was updated with version 0.21.48:

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed banners in leadership not working on companions and minions
  • Fixed problems with some dungeon traps not syncing properly in multiplayer
  • Fixed animation on remote clients for siege engines
  • Fixed bug with Troll Boss spawning in wrong locations sometimes
  • Archery now correctly works with stealth
  • Fixed VFX from rend and fire burning on some enemies
  • Mercenary window now correctly show availability of mercenary jewelry
  • Added a few map markers for some secondary quests
  • Fixed a couple of skill checks in dialogue
  • Fixed quest tracking in journal not working properly
  • Fixed soup elemental's mana restoration aura
  • Fixed throw thorns around activating instantly and burning through all your mana

  • Fixed multiple strikes sounds triggering for remote clients during multiplayer
  • A few small bug fixes and stability improvements


Gameplay changes:
  • I've tightened up a few melee animations, most notably for slower weapons like axes or hammers and got rid of some slow-winded one to give more consistency in melee fights
  • Worked on improving dodge responsiveness and visual feedback
  • Removed running animation for two-handed hammer and replaced it with standart running
  • Reduced pause after landing to improve the flow of movement
  • Base mana regen now grows with player level, depending on your intellect
  • Added potion of oblivion. Now you can craft it with alchemy or buy it in free city. It will allow you to respec your characters and mercenaries
  • Added eggs to food merchant in Free City
  • Waypoints now shown on the map all the time

Hello everyone! the game was just updated with version 0.21.47

  • Fixed resources in world not respawning for clients
  • Fixed waves in arena mode not spawning sometimes
  • Fixed dialogue window being stuck after cutscenes
  • Fixed enemies stuck in middle of jump sometimes
  • Teleporting on the world map with storm or earth teleportations is not allowed into the water anymore
  • Fixed master archer passive not working
  • Fixed burning VFX scaling on some enemies
  • Fixed nt being able to complete mysterious obelisk if you already had special water before
  • Fixed spawning negotiations table in cursed mine
  • Fixed archer passive for backstabbing not working

Hey guys, the game at the moment is in more stable state, compared to the launch, so hopefully I will be able to ease up on daily patches, and take more time working on bigger, more substantial updates and gameplay improvements.

The game was just updated with version 0.21.46:

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed the bug when petting a dog would deactivate players in multiplayer
  • Now if you have corrupted savefile, the game will load correctly and allow to replace it from the archive. We are working on fixing the issues with saves corrupting
  • Fixed the issue of bard's healing zone and banners not appearing sometimes
  • Fixed sprinting with carriable objects
  • Fixed few stat checks in dialogue not working properly
  • Fixed the issue of moving platforms dragging players around who arent standing on them
  • Fixed backpacks not increasing inventory size
  • Few stability improvements for multiplayer
  • Few small building mode improvements
  • Fixed not being able to learn shield throw
  • Fixed visual bug with glasses on normal male model
  • Fixed not being able to talk with the witch in Tranquil Strand
