June update delayed to July 24th

[p]We’ve decided to delay the June update to July 24th to ensure we ship something truly polished and meaningful. We know delays can be frustrating, but we want to make sure it’s worth your time. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]That being said — yes, a new update is still coming on June 26th, with new content and lots of polish!
[/p][p]We’re also working on a revised roadmap, which will be shared in the coming days. The original roadmap was created before launch, but since then we’ve realized that some core features weren’t received as well as we hoped. So, we’ve decided to focus on improving those systems before adding more on top.[/p][p]This isn’t a cancellation — just a shift in priorities to ensure the best possible experience for everyone.
[/p][p]In the meantime, we’ll keep pushing fixes and enhancements on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, just like we’ve been doing since launch.

This update brings a wide range of improvements and fixes across the academy — and introduces the new Auto Save system, which will help protect your progress as you build your magical legacy. From smarter character behavior and more responsive UI to cleaner visuals and groundwork for upcoming features, we’re continuing to refine the Wizdom Academy experience and make it more stable, readable, and enjoyable for all Headmasters.

  • [p]Switching floors with a selected character now works as expected — no more snapping back to the original floor.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where dropping a professor on floor 1 would accidentally assign them to a room on the floor above.[/p]
  • [p]Corrected spot placement issues in Golemancy Tier 2 and History of Magic rooms.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed certain exterior decorations that couldn’t be placed under buildings.[/p]
  • [p]Adjusted sleeping NPC positions in the professor dormitory (thanks, Rubiont-47!).[/p]
  • [p]Resolved loading issues between hallways and towers.[/p]
  • [p]Relaxation jobs no longer cancel all other jobs unexpectedly.[/p]
  • [p]Closing the Learning Tree no longer hides the settings panel.[/p]
  • [p]Rugs now display properly in student dormitories.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed UI issues in the Mana Mine.[/p]
  • [p]Reassigning miners to new mines now works properly.[/p]
  • [p]Single-clicking no longer moves the camera — only double-click does.[/p]
  • [p]Door placement now correctly detects wall orientation using ray tracing.[/p]
  • [p]Professors' and students’ dormitories, as well as Mana Storage T2, now spawn already built when placed.[/p]
  • [p]Quests can now retroactively detect if objectives have already been fulfilled — now active for councilor and secondary quests as well.[/p]
  • [p]The second part of the “Drought 2” quest now appears when the first one is triggered.[/p]
  • [p]"Wiz Power" stat now displays correctly.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the SFX volume slider resetting by itself.[/p]
  • [p]Construction display glitches have been resolved.[/p]
  • [p]Selected canvas border now updates color correctly.[/p]
  • [p]Tracking cameras have been adjusted and improved.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed door placement issue in the Alchemy Room.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed roof display issues in the Miners’ Den.[/p]
  • [p]Dormitory roofs now display properly above professors' rooms.[/p]
  • [p]Endless animation bug in the Alchemy Room has been resolved.[/p]
  • [p]Pathfinding issues causing erratic behavior have been fixed.[/p]
  • [p]UI progress bars no longer tick up when the game is paused.[/p]
  • [p]Construction slider text is now more readable.[/p]
  • [p]Mining menu icons are no longer cut off.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue with the Mana Tree where students would endlessly loop around it.[/p]
  • [p]Improved post-load stability and UI for the Miners’ Den.[/p]
  • [p]Student recruitment screen now accurately displays reward traits per cycle.[/p]
  • [p]Pillars are now ignored if a round roof is directly above them.[/p]

    • [p]Students show different highlight colors based on their rank (I, II, III).[/p]

  • [p]Student rewards per cycle now reflect their traits, resulting in more variety and depth.[/p]
  • [p]New village buildings have been added — a small preview of what's to come.[/p]
  • [p]Construction is now immediately paused when the game is paused.[/p]
  • [p]Initial UI preparations made for the upcoming Legacy System.[/p]
  • [p]A new Auto Save System is now available:[/p]
    • [p]Supports up to 5 autosaves.[/p]
    • [p]When full, the oldest save is automatically deleted.[/p]
    • [p]Currently in testing — feedback is welcome![/p]

Welcome to version 0.29.0!

This update marks a major step forward for the user experience with a full rework of the game’s UI, multiple visual upgrades, and crucial bug fixes to keep the academy running smoothly.

  • Fixed a bug that caused certain techs not to unlock properly after loading a save (e.g., the Trial Room or Mana Storage would remain locked).
  • Fixed the infamous double Headmaster spawn issue.
  • Fixed the UI bug where the "grab character" interface wouldn’t appear when selecting a character.
  • Walls in Golemancy Rooms 1 & 2 have had their colors corrected to better match their intended visual style.
  • Visual upgrades for the rooftops of Alchemy Tier 2 and Dark Magic Tier 2 buildings.
  • Complete rework of the Tier 1 History of Magic classroom:
  • New animations, a fresh layout, and a more immersive vibe for your students.

We’ve reworked the entire interface from the ground up to make your magical management smoother and more intuitive.

  • Interactive elements are now much clearer, with a unified button system.
  • A simpler and more readable color scheme makes navigation easier on the eyes.
  • All UI elements – from frames and sliders to buttons and titles – have been standardized for a cleaner, more cohesive look.
  • Localization update: All supported languages have been updated to reflect the new UI and recent content additions.

The winds of magic have swept through Wizdom Academy once again, bringing with them a fresh batch of improvements, tweaks, and spell-binding fixes. This update focuses on polishing your building experience, enhancing key visual elements, and squashing some pesky bugs that dared to lurk in the shadows.

  • Visual texture fix on multiple buildings related to Darker.
  • Mana storage T2: destruction ghost now correctly displayed.
  • Roof display issues resolved on several buildings.
  • Correct darker now applied to Mana Storage T2.
  • Floating assets corrected on CastleHill.
  • Visual glitches inside Golemancy resolved.
  • T3 alchemy building now includes LODs for better performance.
  • General issue where colors weren’t properly loading (notably rooftops and potentially student uniforms).
  • Bug where switching floors while a character was selected caused floor transitions to fail.
  • Professors dropped into a room on floor 1 could incorrectly be assigned to a room on the floor above
  • Mana Storage T2:
    - Complete overhaul of building states.
    - Tank size reduced for easier room navigation.
  • CastleHill: Full map rework – mountain and castle removed to allow for more open space.
  • New visuals applied to Alchemy T3.
  • Several new spot animations in Golemancy and Alchemy.
  • Additional spot placements in Alchemy.
  • Better visibility cues when purchasing the Trial Room.
