Filters, Garden Swaps, Fishing Fix, and more 🎣 Koltera 2 Patch 1.6

Workstation Rebalance, Dungeons Disabled, and more ⚖️ Koltera 2 Patch 1.5

[p]I want to start off with saying this will be a pretty significant patch. All workstations have been rebalanced in a few different ways. Many recipe costs have been nerfed. Durations have shifted around. Experience curves now increase for the most part as you progress in a workstation (versus many recipes giving 2xp/second). There's still going to likely be tuning to better consider the resources being inputted, but I think this will put everything in a more stable place to work off of in the future.

As a side note, when reading the XP/Sec changes, this is just the result of duration and experience changes. I made some items much quicker to craft to help with bottleneck issues, such as coal.

While I'd love to have refunded the differences on things already crafted, there is no historical data to cleanly be able to do that. But there should be a lot more stability going forward and hopefully these changes make crafting more accessible.

I've also disabled the Dungeon and the resources around it for now. The costs to get there were outrageous (level 90 in a few gathering skills) and the mechanic was a expedition+ style mechanic. I want to deliver something fun and engaging in a different way after all the hard work to get to it. I have ideas to repurpose the current dungeon mechanic into a more active way to gain experience early and a few various loot items. I'll need some time to implement those systems.

Lastly, T4/T5/T6 creatures had outrageous costs, so I was able to rebalance those to be much more in line with the curve I am aiming at. Dungeons being disabled do not stop you from getting to the end game now as well.

Merchant Daily Limits, Settings, and more 🛒 Koltera 2 Patch 1.4

- Added a new limited quantity system for the Merchant that resets daily at midnight
- Added text to job profeciences in the creature details to show that they do not change with level
- Added additional text to "The Awakening" to give more hints at why it's useful
- Added new setting that allows for muting sound when game is unfocused
- Added new setting that allows you to disable the can summon navigation notification
- Added a underline to materials in the recipe info of workstations that you can click to auto switch to gather
- Added in expedition details in the rewards, how many you own of that item already
- Changed Task Board Potion price from 20,000 Gold to 40,000 Gold
- Changed Task Board Potion to a limit of 1 daily
- Changed order of job profeciences on creature detail page to match order in taskbar
- Removed bold from gold number on task bar and increased font size of that whole row to make it easier to read
- Fixed memory leak issues stemming from a recent change (you'll notice progress bars are a bit less smooth now)
- Fixed rounding error when creature has optimal trait and type in expedition party score
- Fixed offline progress helpers not giving the correct amount upon return (dumb hardcoded values I forgot to update)
- Balanced Saw, Hammer, and Knife changing twig and stone requirements from 16 -> 4, crafting duration from 30s -> 16s, and xp/sec from 2 xp/s -> 1 xp/s

Next patch, I am planning to rebalance all of the workstations. The balances for it have be lackluster and there needs to be a progression curve. For now, I've adjusted the essential tools to hopefully remove that as a bottleneck.

Task board fix, new consumable, and tons of QoL 📕 Koltera 2 Patch 1.3

Check your inventory in the consume tab for a free task board reset! This is for a task board bug that was causing them to reset to a outrageously scammy quest. I convinced the task board manager to up their prices back.

- Balanced cheese adding knife to recipe and sell cost from 200 -> 115 (sorry cheesers)
- Fixed bone description
- Fixed 'Burried Chest' to be 'Buried Chest' because I can't spell
- Fixed Task Board resets being bad and scams to now set to the correct values
- Fixed ordering of items for the exploring helper, so that it's in rarity order, like the others
- Fixed a bug where xp from helper was popping up in the gathering skill bar as a floating number
- Fixed bug where offline progress creatures were contributing towards skill xp
- Removed duplicate "Stove" unlock in the tutorial
- Changed creature details to offset tiers by 1. No more tier 0 (except Moss!). Starts at tier 1 now
- Changed expeditions subtext in the tab to show how many expeditions are inactive
- Changed creature progress bars to be XP for next level, instead of towards level cap
- Changed tooltips of creatures in expeditions (both party and creature select areas) to show base stats + xp needed for level
- Changed helper contribution towards it's personal xp from 20% -> 30% of the skill it's working on
- Added a new setting to change all progress bars for creatures to show progress towards level cap (gameplay settings)
- Added new descriptions to Salt, Egg, Sugar, and Milk
- Added showing how many of an item you have to the workstations, gathering (loot table), and merchant pages
- Added tooltips to dungeon, awaken tree, and sanctuary to show how they are unlocked
- Added flavor text for Moss and Slick
- Added Task Board Potion that allows you to reset your task board. Found in merchant for 20k gold
- Added 1 of the Task Board Potions to everyones inventory, due to the now fixed bug setting them to scam postings
- Added a new item type called consumables for the new potion. Consume them from inventory. More consumables will be coming later!
- Added "next level" in creature details so you can see xp required for next level
- Added a "Can Summon" badge in the summoning tab so you know when you have something you can summon

Launching bug fixes + Expedition fixes, and more 🐞 Koltera 2 Patch 1.2

- Fixed an issue with offline progress calculations on expeditions
- Tons more logging in the log file
- Fixed a couple issues potentially causing the game to not fully close
- Fixed an issue with expedition party score missing the trait bonus
- Added trait highlighting for expeditions in tooltips to make it easier

I've been trying my best to monitor the launch issues. There's a few things I am doing now that hopefully will help with debugging them if they continue. Please let me know if they continue to persist. I've been also trying to solve the game not fully closing for a few people when they exit.
