Patch Notes 0.2.4

[p]Bosses[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that caused bosses to deal excessive damage to player-built structures.[/p]
  • [p]Drowned Cook's spinning bones now properly disappear when the encounter ends.[/p]
  • [p]Skeleton Overlord now correctly uses all of his abilities.[/p]
  • [p]Bosses now drop 2-3 legendary and 1-2 rare items.[/p]
[p]Skills[/p]
  • [p]New skill for mage builds: Flame Shield (dropped by 2-star Drowned Mages).[/p]
  • [p]Multi-Shot: Damage and on-hit multiplier reduced. New: each unique enemy hit increases the damage of the next Multi-Shot.
    Despite its name, Multi-Shot was most effective at short-range single-target damage and triggering on-hit effects. This change makes the skill more balanced and versatile.[/p]
  • [p]All arrows now fly for 1 second, reducing their maximum range from 32 to 20–24 units (depending on type).
    Still long enough for combat, but less likely to pull unwanted enemies with stray arrows.[/p]
[p]Glyphs[/p]
  • [p]Glyph of Turtle's Wisdom: Tension now also reduces damage taken.[/p]
  • [p]Bear Might: redesigned for melee builds.[/p]
[p]Items[/p]
  • [p]You can now compare items (hold Left Shift).
    Note: this system currently doesn't do a good job of comparing weapons.[/p]
  • [p]Set bonuses no longer require items to be upgraded.[/p]
  • [p]Legendary rings now empower specific glyphs.[/p]
  • [p]First skill-specific legendary affix: Suppressive Fire (can roll on medium armor). Increases the number of arrows fired by Multi-Shot.[/p]
  • [p]All cloaks now increase maximum health when upgraded to Legendary quality. Already-upgraded cloaks automatically gain this effect.[/p]
  • [p]Amplification effect reduced, but now also applies to the rare (blue) affix on the item.[/p]
  • [p]Legendary affix Mortal Wounds is now correctly treated as a kill, granting experience and triggering on-kill effects.[/p]
[p]Enemies[/p]
  • [p]Reduced damage scaling for higher-level enemies.[/p]
  • [p]Enemy climbing abilities now roughly match the player's.[/p]
  • [p]Summoned enemies no longer drop loot or grant experience.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that caused enemies to always grant full experience regardless of level difference. Experience is now properly scaled down, reaching 0 when the difference is 10 levels or more (indicated by a gray number on the nameplate).[/p]
[p]Misc[/p]
  • [p]Spellforge now offers new enchants for Chest, Cloak, and Rings.[/p]
  • [p]Packing Table now correctly increases maximum stack size in the Stash by 50% (additive on top of the default 200%).[/p]
  • [p]Rain decay reduced.[/p]
  • [p]Excess critical chance is no longer converted into critical damage.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that caused basic attacks to restore health or mana multiple times per attack.[/p]
  • [p]Stash now has a sort button. Sorting and stacking are now limited to the current page.[/p]
  • [p]Whiteshard Salt now properly increases Soup duration.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that caused equipped items dropped on death to expire.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that caused Agility to increase Wand damage.
    Side note: Intellect has never increased Wand damage - neither before this patch nor after.[/p]

Patch Notes 0.2.3

[p]General[/p]
  • [p]New movement system should completely prevent clipping with both mouse and keyboard movement.
    As a side effect, you can now drop off ledges. Climbing up will be added in a future update.[/p]
  • [p]All worlds now include 2 additional snowy islands with high-level skeletons, making it easier to farm high-level items.
    These islands will remain until Q4 2025, when dungeons arrive and become the main source of high-level gear.[/p]
[p]Skills[/p]
  • [p]Roll cooldown reduced to 6 seconds, with Agility now having a smaller effect on reducing it further.[/p]
  • [p]Void Orb now correctly deals 100% SP damage per second (was 20%).[/p]

  • [p]Fixed a bug that could cause crashes when approaching certain locations or when loading a world.[/p]
  • [p]Wooden arrows removed; other arrows are now crafted in stacks of 50 and require fewer resources.[/p]
  • [p]Turtle's Wisdom now stacks to 50, increasing damage by 1% per stack. The chance to gain a stack of Tension increased to 150%.[/p]
  • [p]Scholar's Portal no longer disappears randomly.[/p][p][/p]
[p]Sep 8 Hotfixes [/p]
  • [p]Terrain cliffs are smoother now, with fewer spots where you can get stuck.,[/p]
  • [p]If you do get stuck, there's now an Unstuck option in the pause menu, which resets your respawn point and kills your character.,[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that caused the default respawn point to be slightly below the terrain, often leading to respawning in the water beneath it.[/p]

  • [p]You should no longer clip through the floor.
    Known issues: this may still happen when spawning or when building over deep water.[/p]
  • [p]Base structures now have better resistance to higher-level enemy attacks.[/p]
  • [p]Sharp Stakes now deal 100% of the damage they take back to enemies attacking them in melee range (was a fixed amount).[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that caused base structures to be vulnerable to Arcane damage (most importantly, Ghost explosions).[/p]

Patch Notes 0.2.1 & 0.2.2

[p]While big updates are still being worked on, this patch addresses the most important issues players reported within the first two days after launch.

General[/p]
  • [p]New option: Friendly Fire (off by default) - allows damage to player-built objects.[/p]
  • [p]Night spawns are now less frequent, contain fewer enemies, and can no longer incorrectly spawn inside player bases.[/p]
  • [p]Teleporting now grants an aura that makes enemies ignore you for 10 seconds or until you attack.[/p]
[p][/p][p]World[/p][p]Some issues with world generation caused entities to be missing or to never respawn.[/p][p]⚠️Unfortunately, these fixes only apply to newly created worlds:[/p]

  • [p]Freezing damage reduced from 10% to 5% health per second, and now starts closer to the coast.[/p]
  • [p]Silver Lockboxes now contain 2-3 Silver (was 1-2).[/p]
  • [p]Enemies no longer chase players into the deep ocean.[/p]
  • [p]Ghosts now have a higher chance to drop Ghostweave.[/p]
  • [p]Drowned Cook's Enrage now lasts 5 seconds and no longer stacks (still dispellable with bone piles).[/p]
