[p]The festival will run from August 7th to 14th, 2025, with a special sale page on Steam and a whole week of streams and content on the Yogscast Twitch and YouTube channels. It’s a fantastic opportunity to discover new games, support indie creators, and be part of a vibrant, welcoming community.



I can't promise when but Jackal will be one of the featured games and might be picked up and played by the plethora of streamers participating in the event.[/p][p][/p][p]In the meantime I'm mad busy with developing the game and making it as good as possible. Sorry for not posting any news or media but I'd rather spend time making the game great.

Gamers worldwide, prepare for an adrenaline-charged thrill ride with Jackal, the highly anticipated top-down shooter from the legendary indie game developer Michał Marcinkowski, creator of Soldat, King Arthur’s Gold, and Maniac. Announced today on Steam, Jackal merges the relentless brutality of Hotline Miami with a Tarantino-esque narrative set against the gritty backdrop of 1970s Las Vegas.

Step into the shoes of a Vegas hitman on a mission to obliterate the local crime lords and loot their gambling dens. In Jackal, players will raid casinos and hotels, executing unsuspecting mobsters in unforgiving close-quarters combat. Success hinges on your ability to wield anything within reach—be it guns, knives, pool cues, chairs, or even household items. No two playthroughs will be the same, thanks to randomly generated rooms and stackable gameplay mutators.

"Jackal combines my love of John Wick fight scenes, Scorsese's mobsters, Tarantino's storytelling, and the soul of the 1970s," says the creator Michał Marcinkowski.

Jackal is set to launch at the end of Q2 2025.
