Deadzone: Rogue is Entering Early Access on April 29!

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]Deadzone: Rogue will be launching into early access on Steam and Epic on April 29th, building on our momentum of 100,000+ wishlists and over 90% review score!

This launch will include Chapters 1 and 2 of the game, with a variety of missions, enemies, maps, bosses, augments, weapons, and other exciting content to explore.

Deadzone: Rogue will be priced at $24.99 with a 20% launch discount during the first two weeks of early access, at $19.99. For players outside the US, we’ll offer local pricing based on market rates. Early access players will receive Chapters 1 and 2 immediately, and the final chapter of the game, Chapter 3, once it’s completed!

Everyone who made a purchase in Starsiege Deadzone on Steam will automatically receive Deadzone: Rogue for free in their Steam library once we launch into early access, and receive Chapter 3 later. No action should be needed to claim the game, as we’ve worked with Steam to set up this access for past supporters.

If you’re into shooters, sci-fi, or roguelite games, give the free demo a try now to see why players are loving it! The demo will be available until April 22nd, but will be taken down a week before launch, as we shift all focus to the early access release.

MISSIONS
  • The full story run has been broken into 3 missions
  • Missions can be selected from the Mission Select panel in the starting ship
  • Completing a mission will grant rewards and unlock the next Mission
  • Mission name is now shown on the HUD

  • Fixed an issue in Co-Op where Tech would not save properly for joining players after a completed mission
  • Fixed an issue in Co-Op where if the host died while fighting the Boss, they would not respawn

Deadzone: Rogue Demo Patch Notes

Co-Op

To play Co-Op, you will need to link your Epic account (this is for peer-to-peer online services)
  • Find the Co-Op terminal in the starting ship.
  • After interacting with it and clicking “Connect,” it will open a new tab to link your Epic account.
  • After connecting, you can either Host or Join a Lobby
  • To Host, create a lobby link, and share it with your friends
  • To Join a Lobby, copy and paste the Host’s Lobby Code in the Join Lobby Code text box
Reviving in Co-Op
In order to revive fallen teammates, any player(s) left alive will need to finish clearing the current room. Fallen team members will spawn back in.
Each teammate has a maximum of 2 revives

Masteries Tech Upgrades renamed to Tech Masteries
Mastery Tiers are now one purchase per tier

Augments Removed the Augment Fabricator
Augments now provide larger buffs that pertain to the way you want to play

Perks Perks give bonuses towards a specific build.
Perks loot orbs are dropped after special encounters

Items Added item buffs the player can choose from after clearing a room
These provide small improvements to the player’s build

Weapon Affixes
Weapons now have randomly rolled affixes that give them a new way to play
