[p]Hail, Cosmonauts! Since Next Fest began, we've been working around the clock to fix issues and improve functionality.   • [p]The main menu screen now displays the current version number.[/p]
  • [p]Added a Community Events button to the main menu screen. Press it to visit our community events page, where you could win a product key.[/p]
  • [p]"Repair Save" now only appears on the splash screen to avoid confusion.[/p]
  • [p]Added a share feature for the Doll system (Windows only), allowing you to create and share images.[/p]
  • [p]When changing heroes at the run entry screen, the background will also change to fit the hero.[/p]
[h3]Combat and Skill Adjustments[/h3]
  • [p]Mega Channeler (Boss): Slightly increased initial attributes. Skill changed from "+10% max Health" to "+10% current Health".[/p]
  • [p]Steel Tortoise: Skill category changed to Shatter.[/p]
  • [p]Waxwyrm: Attack slightly weakened.[/p]
  • [p]Shrine Maiden (Boss): Fewer minions.[/p]
  • [p]Gigalodon/Shrine Maiden: Temporarily removed "advance each turn" skills. Related mechanism will be overhauled in future updates.[/p]
  • [p]Auto-Magus: Now begins with an initial Potency stat.[/p]
[h3]Other Fixes[/h3]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where Demonic Ring's effect would not apply to hero skills after Shapeshift.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue with Weald Wraith's description.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where Sword & Shield's bonus would not be immediately updated after battle ends.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the green box effect would not be promptly updated and removed after using Charge Up.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed certain buff bullet effects.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where using destroyed pawns' skills would cause model clipping.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where immediately attacking after playing a pawn would cause its background to hover in mid-air.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where attribute values would be displayed incorrectly mid-Shapeshift.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where summons' Health would be displayed incorrectly.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where buff icons would flicker when mousing over cards.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue with overlapping random content for Death/Wound Pack and Auto/Reload Pack.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where you could still interact with objects in a run while returning to the main menu.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where unchanged placeholder text might be shown in the battle log.[/p]

  3. [p]Added a 'content unlocked' notification after clearing chapter 1, and a preview of the finished game's content upon clearing chapter 2. Also added a button to the main menu that can be used to view a preview of the finished game's content at any time.[/p]

Cubic Cosmos Demo Now Available! Win Product Keys With Community Events

The new Cubic Cosmos demo is now available!

We've made a number of improvements to the game based on your feedback following the first demo. Thank you to all our playtesters for your suggestions!

[h3]Major changes in the demo include:[/h3]
  1. Improved level pacing and deck upgrade experience.
  2. Improved cards and enemies to increase strategic depth and playability, clarifying gameplay systems and strengthening differences between classes.
  3. Improved the Doll system.
  4. Improved interactions, making them more intuitive and less burdensome.
  5. Overhaul of sound effects.
  6. Added "Fast Mode" for battles, which can be enabled in the settings.
  7. Added Blue-class (Magician) hero card with the Shapeshift trait. Events will also offer you Magician cards.
Following the release of the demo, we'll continue to keep a close eye on community feedback, and carry on with regular bug fixes and improvements.

Cubic Cosmos Demo Patch Notes v0.0.9.43

Update Details
  1. Fixed an issue where frozen visual effects would continue to stack.
  2. Fixed an issue where after switching out a card in a Doll obtained for clearing a run, the card would display a different player's name in the next run (only applies to newly created Dolls).
  3. Fixed an issue where you could refresh Doll cards by repeatedly saving and loading.
  4. Fixed an issue where Gold Blessing would occasionally fail to trigger the Lucre visual effect and refresh the Lucre value.
  5. Fixed an issue where Thralls summoned by Fission would continuously launch Follow Up attacks.
  6. Fixed an issue where quickly refreshing the Shop had a chance to cause trait explanation text to remain on screen.
  7. Fixed an issue where going from the victory screen to the main menu could cause interface problems.
  8. Fixed an issue where card models would be erroneously enlarged with certain deck shuffling visual effects.
  9. Fixed an issue where cards that gained the Boiling trait would not display the corresponding burning visual effect.
  10. Improved hiding timing for the hero skill visual effect box.
