Osmunth (The Warrior)
With the unstoppable and relentless force of a wild elephant, Osmunth will clear a safe path for its allies, Scyrons and Soldiers alike.

Let's dive a bit deeper into the hammer-smashing wrath of Osmunth and his base stats:
 • Walk Speed: 400
 • Run Speed: 800
 • Max HP: 800
 • Max Energy: 200
 • Arcane Velocity: 0
 • Sight: 4000
 • Equipment Type: Melee

These stats are accompanied by its auto-attack Demolishing Blow.

Demolishing Blow
Compared to the other Scyrons, the auto attack of Osmunth is a tad slower, and a bit heavier targeting everybody and anything directly in front of it's hammer.

 • ✊65 Physical Damage
 • Attack Speed: 0.6
 • Range: 500
 • Critical chances: 5%
 • Radius: Base Range

Seismic Blast
Slamming its hammer into the ground, Seismic Blast is dealing damage to all enemies in a 360° radius and stunning those caught within its radius.

It's Osmunth's first starting ability is a great set-up ability and very useful in combination with your soldiers or other Scyrons. The 1sec stun will give every ally a moment to breathe and reset.
 • ✊80 Physical Damage + x Strength Power
 • ⏱️Cooldown: 30 seconds
 • ⚡Energy cost: 0
 • Damage Type: Physical
 • Area Radius: 800
 • Stun Duration: 1 second

Sweeping Blast
In case you feel boxed in, or need to clear the air, Sweeping Blast is your best tool. Using its hammer to sweep in a 135° in front of it, Osmunth will deal a whooping amount of damage and more importantly, push enemies back.

If you feel especially good, and you are playing in an experienced team, don't be afraid to toss your other Scyron-comrades some enemies. They'll surely appreciate it.
 • ✊Area damage: 3x Scyron's Auto-Attack damage
 • ⏱️Cooldown: 3 seconds
 • ⚡Energy cost: 100
 • Angle: 135°
 • Push Back Force: 4000

Bulldoze Charge
What's this? An escape? A power-move? A mobility skill? Well, it's all of the above!

Bulldoze Charge lets Osmunth charge shoulder first into a designated direction, dealing hefty damage to anybody in its path.
 • ✊Scyron's max run speed / 4
 • ⚡Energy cost: 100
 • Radius: 600
 • Range: 2600
 • Maximum Speed: 150%
 • Time to reach max speed: 2 seconds

Osmunth's ability-set while crushing, needs to be played a bit more conservatively in a solo run due to its placidness. Especially the Bulldoze Charge looks like a useful escape, but it does take a moment to get rolling.

It's in co-op, especially paired with a ranged AoE damage dealer like Zirenth where Osmunth truly shines. Stunning enemies with Seismic Blast or keeping them at bay with Sweeping Blast complements Zirenth perfectly.

Ready to meet your enemies' skulls with a hammer? March 26 is just on the horizon!

Danger comes in different flavors – Meet your enemies
Scyron!
If you had a go at the demo yet, you already had the pleasure of meeting one of the main factions besieging Bastion at the game’s release: The Zombies of Dreadwing the Zombie Dragon.

But the armies of Zombies are of course not the only faction unleashed by the Unraveler to topple and destroy the last hope of humanity. In fact, when you’ll not be fighting back against the hordes of Zombies, you might find either the Skeletons of Kadath the Necromancer or vampiric units of Leskard the Vampire Lord marching you down on the main lane.

While each of the three faction leaders can be possessed by distinct elemental variants, determining the elemental type of their commanding armies, every faction also comes with their own unique units, abilities and lethality.

Let’s take a look!
The Zombies of Dreadwing
Dreadwing the Zombie Dragon is himself, as the names states, undead. So, the fact that he is commanding hordes of reanimated zombies, bloated, exploding corpses and a Flesh Golem as his guardian should come of no surprise to anybody. All of his units can be infused by poison, acid, fire or frost.

Zombies are the base units that are running against bastion, following the pre-determined path and while they are less scary as a single unit, it’s the number that makes them dangerous.

In combination with their bigger variant, the exploding zombies, Scyrons can quickly find themselves encircled by the horde. The reason for that is less the AoE blast on death which is to be expected with a name like that, but their ability to pull Scyrons close to them.

The back is lined by catapults who will do great splash damage against structures and any other target that doesn’t move out of their way fast enough.

The guardian of the Aphotic Lands serving Dreadwing is Carillon the Flesh Golem and it comes packed with an 80% resistance on the pre-defined elemental type defined by it’s primordial.

With its elemental arms, it will lay waste to anyone approaching it too closely. Striking the grounds with either Elemental Smash or Dual Smash, its attacks will crack the floor on impact creating destruction and dealing damage way beyond the point of impact. Should you be able to avoid these attacks by remaining at a distance, Chained Cannon Ball, Carillon will probably start shooting its hands towards you.
The Skeletongs of Kadath
Close cousins of a fully reanimated corpse are of course reanimated skeletons. And reanimating skeletons is what Kadath the Necromancer does best. This faction leader draws from the power of death itself creating legions from the fallen which can be supercharged causing either thunder, bleeding, fire or frost damage.

Unlike their meaty brethren, the skeletons can wield weapons and thus will attack you both at distance and proximity. The base units are Skeleton Archers shooting arrows and Skeleton equipped with a shield – allowing them to block first attacks.

Supporting these lines in later days are the Skeleton Giants who can be best described as close combat elemental weapons. Avoid their strikes at all costs, even if you have built up your elemental resistance.

The skeleton army does also not shy away from using catapults against heavy targets and structures. Try to take them out early to protect your fighting soldiers or be sure to stay agile and keep them busy.

The mighty Boneweaver is the champion and guardian of Kadath the Necromancer. This nightmarish human-spider-monster hybrid protects the entrance to the Aphotic Lands and will swiftly spell your doom if you don’t come prepared and in support of your soldiers.

With its powerful legs, Boneweaver will not only attack you directly through a Leg Barrage, but also by thrusting her front legs into the ground to have them strike you from below. In case you feel like keeping your distance is a safe option, rest assured that Boneweaver can teleport, dealing massive AoE damage when reappearing, and is also able to create multiple, pulsating Necrotic Geysers.
The Vampiric Units of Leskar
What’s the worst nightmare of any hero in a video game? It’s of course any enemy that suddenly pops a health potion or one that can regain its health. While the vampire units from Leskar the Vampire Lord will not drink health potions, they are still equipped with ongoing health regeneration combined with their increased movement speed on the lane.

Strike these creatures of the night swiftly and without mercy while they wield powers of thunder, poison, acid or attacks that can cause bleeding.

You might be expecting to see vampires rushing down the lane, but these noble ex-humans are a true rarity compared to what will meet you instead: Night Beasts. Night Beasts are terrifying ranged units that will rip you to shreds before you have a chance to get closer.

At later stages, the Night Beasts are joined by predatory Nocthraals who are complementing the Night Beasts perfectly with their jumping attack and devastating close combat skills. If you are fortunate enough to have your soldiers at your side, try to keep them out of harm’s way by engaging the Nocthraals head-on.

The job of guarding the gates to the Aphotic Lands was given to the dashing Vampire Concubine. Much like the other guardians, it also sports an 80% resistance to the elemental type designed by its house.

Dashing can be taken quite literally, as the Vampire Concubine is very mobile when defending the territory it has been told to protect. Whether it’s attacking in a single straight line, targeted from above or in the dance-like Death Waltz, you should never stay in the same place for long. Playing in co-op it’s recommended to spread out and never give it a single target to focus on.

March 26, so the full release of EverSiege: Untold Ages is just around the corner!
Better mark your calendars and get ready to face these foes in battle.

We see you soon™️,

Quests in the Wildlands give you the necessary edge

Scyron,
[p]It’s time we finally had that talk.[/p][p]That talk about the plentiful activities and quests on your journey to defeating the evil master and reversing the siege on Bastion.[/p][p]There are many different steps you can take on your way to find shards, earn XP and make some much-needed gold coins. Each one comes with their own challenges, mechanics and loot to help you customize your character and rebuild Bastion.[/p][p]All you have to do is dare to tread beyond the winding, enemy infested lane.[/p]
Quest Givers
[p]An activity that will push you to explore the Wildlands a bit further will be the Quests that you receive from an NPC or an item that can be found within the kingdom.[/p][p]Depending on the map and Mister RNG, you will find one of the following: the Venerable Drasilian, Verandiel or a Treasure Map.
[/p][p][/p][p]It goes without saying that each quest will send you on a different mission that you can finish at your own pace and will reward you with something different.[/p][p]Finding all of the singing gems for the Venerable Drasilian will bolster up your army with an allied Drasilian, supporting your lane. Finding and activating the four ancient pylons in the right order for Verandiel will reduce the strength of the enemy horde by an entire level.[/p][p]The hidden treasure? You guessed it, it will reward you with a legendary shard.[/p]
Creature Lairs
[p]The kingdom surrounding Bastion is inhabited by a variety of creatures that made parts of the forests their home. Here, next to harmless wildlife, each generated map features two main species that inhabit the eastern or the western Wildlands outside of Bastion.[/p][p]While you’ll find most of them in bigger and smaller creature camps throughout their territory, their leader, captain or brood mother has made camp at one specific place among them: the Creature’s Lair.
[/p][p] [/p][p]These underground lairs can be viewed as a designated boss arena and are cut-off from the world above ground. Defeating the boss will not be an easy task however and we recommend only going once you feel prepared enough.[/p][p]Defeating this boss will reap a high reward: Not only will this lair now spawn creatures boosting your lane presence in reoccurring intervals, but you’ll also receive an artifact and a guaranteed epic shard.[/p]
Rebuilding Domains
[p]There are not only creatures and enemies hiding in the forests outside of Bastion’s walls, but also the ruins of domains lost to wars and time.[/p][p]These domains come in many different forms and will support your war effort in different ways once rebuilt. The Knight Order for example will offer a substantial upgrade to your soldiers and bolster their numbers on the lane, whereas the Provision Mill can increase your maximum population by 2 almost doubling the number of soldiers produced with each wave.
[/p][p] [/p][p]The only resource required to rebuild these places? Money![/p][p]If you have the cash to spare, help rebuild these places of power.
It’s worth it.[/p]
Clear the Dungeon
[p]Probably the most straight forward of all the activities listed in this article is clearing the den dungeon of evil.[/p][p]The dungeon itself features different levels, each with much-welcome gold coin rewards. As expected, however, you won’t get that money for free.[/p][p] [/p][p]Each of the eight levels of this dungeon is filled with creatures comprised of the two main creature factions on the map with a specific elemental power. And at every level, these creatures get stronger and more deadly.[/p][p]It’s of course entirely up to you how deep you travel and which rooms you pick.
Just know that the final room will feature big rewards an artifact.[/p]
Crystal Tombs
[p]The Aphotic Lands, guarded by a strong entity like the Flesh Golem, will give you access to another place that needs to be cleansed of evil: the Crystal Tombs[/p][p] [/p][p]In a unique challenge, the Crystal Tombs are leaning on the well-known mechanics seen in Survivors-likes: Kill the seemingly endless number of enemies infesting the tomb and collect their souls to destroy the crystal animating these demonic hordes.[/p][p]Once the crystal is destroyed, not only will the remaining enemies disintegrate, but you will also be rewarded with a lowered strength level of the stream of enemies attacking your lane.[/p]

[p]The world around Bastion is filled with ruins, magic and monsters and the here described Quests are merely one piece of what’s waiting for you beyond the gates of the besieged city.[/p][p]Exploring the Wildlands and Aphotic Lands, you will also find sites such as ancient totems, caved-in gold mines, worm forge and more…[/p][p]And while not all of the Quest varieties mentioned can be found in the demo, they are waiting for you in the full release on March 26.[/p][p]Until next time,[/p]
~Tindalos Interactive
