Balance Update: Enemy Scaling, Boss Adjustments, QoL Fixes

[p]We’ve pushed a balance update focused on making later runs and boss fights feel fairer and more consistent.
[/p][h3]Enemy Rebalance[/h3]
  • [p]All bosses rebalanced: no more extreme damage spikes or excessive HP pools. Their scaling is now much smoother and more realistic.[/p]
  • [p]Mimic adjusted: -20% damage taken, -20% max HP.[/p]
  • [p]All other enemies now scale more slowly per map and per playthrough, allowing players to progress further even with difficulty settings enabled.[/p]
[p]Gameplay & Systems[/p]
  • [p]Added a hint for Progressive Scaling on the final boss victory screen.[/p]
  • [p]Added Parry Assist and Progressive Scaling to the main menu options, with tooltips explaining how each setting works.[/p]
  • [p]Renamed S’Ozella’s Ring of Essence to Ring of Essence.[/p]
[p]Combat Fixes[/p]
  • [p]Fairy’s “Pesky Slap” now correctly shows its parry assist indicator.[/p]
  • [p]Bunny’s “Round Kick” also now displays its parry assist indicator.[/p]
[p]Items & Events[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where Mana Potions could become unusable in the inventory.[/p]
  • [p]“Fair Trade” event no longer allows trades of 0-value Dust, HP, or MP.

Hotfix 7: Unintended Item Removal & HP Bar Fix

[p]Hey everyone![/p][p]Quick hotfix to tidy up two issues reported after the last update:[/p]
  • [p]Removed unintended impostor item “Old Sword” [/p][p]A leftover test item slipped into the live build with placeholder text and the wrong icon. It wasn’t meant to appear in runs, so it has now been removed.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Twitrunk HP bar issue
    In some cases, Twitrunk could display an extra incorrect HP bar. This should now behave properly.[/p]

Hotfix 6: Foxy's wheel max affection.

[p]Fixed a bug where Foxy’s wheel stopped accepting coins after reaching max affection, and the affection bar displayed incorrect values.[/p]

Small Update: Enemy Distribution, Mimic Fix, Foxy’s Wheel

[p]Hey everyone!

This is a small performance/behavior update before we move on to the next content patch.
[/p][p]Changes in this build:[/p]
  • [p]Enemy distribution on later runs
    Enemy types per map now stay consistent across all runs.
    Previously, after the 3rd run all enemies were pulled from one big pool, which could make later runs feel messy and unpredictable.[/p]
  • [p]Mimic reset exploit fixed
    Fixed another case where the Mimic could be “reset” and replaced by a different enemy on chest maps. Mimic should stay a Mimic.[/p]
  • [p]Foxy’s Wheel framerate bug fixed
    Foxy’s reward wheel used to behave differently on low or high framerates, sometimes spinning back and giving guaranteed rewards.
    The wheel now spins correctly and consistently at any framerate.[/p]

Small Update: Critical Bug Fixes, Exploits Resolved, Interaction Improvements

[p]Hey everyone!

We’ve pushed another small update addressing a few issues that could break progression or cause unintended behavior. Thanks to everyone who reported these issues, your feedback helps us improve the game quickly during Early Access.[/p][hr][/hr][h2]
Fixes & Improvements[/h2]
  • [p]Corrected Dust amounts stolen by Bunny, Batsy, Ivy Clone, and all three bosses.
    Some values resulted in no dust and some were too high.[/p]
  • [p]Batsy’s buns now react properly to player slaps.
    (They were frozen due to an animation issue.)[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a main menu softlock where clicking the disclaimer as it faded out prevented all buttons from being clicked.
    Players should now always be able to access the menu.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed two exploits:[/p]
    • [p]Mimic’s Open button could be pressed multiple times[/p]
    • [p]Ivy’s secret event button was also repeatable
      Both now behave correctly and cannot be triggered repeatedly.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed missing Ivy clones in Punitor Natium and Mammatormentum technique sequences.
    Clones now appear properly during these moves.[/p]
