Update 1.6.0: Environment Update

[p]This major update to Zero Front begins the integration of new environment assets. The trees and rocks across the Farmland and Forest biome have been replaced with the work of the artist SquareAnon. They'll be working their way through more of the existing assets and enhancing new biomes.[/p][p]A wave of new tier 4 parts has also been added. All of these parts are available in the 3rd Resistance Support selection of the Zero Front campaign. An additional 4th category containing only these parts has been added so you can easily pick them up and save them to your carry-over part selections.[/p][p]1.5.8[/p][h3]New Parts[/h3]
  • [p]Added the RH04 Isseleis, a slow set of T4 legs with leg mounted guided missile pods.[/p]
  • [p]Added the GT02 Tsumani, a heavy T4 weaponized armature with a rotary cannon and should mounted guided missile pod.[/p]
  • [p]Added the WV04 Fighting Frog, a heavy T4 torso with a chainable rocket jump.[/p]
  • [p]Added the WS02 Reaper, a T4 laser scythe capable of long sweeping attacks.[/p]
  • [p]Added the GT04 Super Squall, a T4 mounted cannon with twin rotary barrels that never needs to reload.[/p]
  • [p]Added the GY01 Striker, a T4 weaponized shield with a laser saw rim and forward missile battery.[/p]
  • [p]Added the HL03/R Saturn, a T4 lance with integrated thrusters that propel the wielder when set.[/p]

  • [p]Rebalanced all weapons around the staples of their type and rarity. Average weapon strength should remain roughly the same but the variance from the average is reduced.[/p]

  • [p]Reworked the Granvir Controls menu with a scroll bar for builds with many controls.[/p]

Hotfix 1.5.7

Removed the pumping animation from weaponized armatures.
Added access to specialized scrapyard options to the scavenger.

Fixed controller face buttons not being detect as held down.
Fixed ally position in rest areas.
Fixed controller navigation issues in the modify mech menu.

Hotfix 1.5.4

Fixed issues with joining multiplayer games.
Updated the repair and scrap rest features to allow multiple players to use them at the same time.

Update 1.5.3: Armature Armaments

[p]This major update to Zero Front focuses on increasing the functionality of armatures and their weapons. All wrist mounted weapons can now be used by the supporting arm of a two-handed weapon. To get the most out of this feature, a new series of armatures supporting grappling hooks that will pull you towards the target have been added. Try out the Engineer or the Hero to jump immediately into grappling.[/p][p]A significant change has also been made to many melee weapons. Most one-handed melee weapons have had the heat cost of their basic attack removed. Alternate attacks and two-handed weapons are unaffected by this change.[/p][p]1.5.3[/p][h3]New Parts[/h3]
  • [p]Added a series of grappling armatures. Updated the Engineer and Hero loadout to start with a grappling arm.[/p]
  • [p]Added a series of harpoon cannons that fire a reusable projectile at the cost of heat buildup.[/p]
  • [p]Added the GB01, a high fire rate back mounted cannon.[/p]
  • [p]Added the BK03, a four side port torso.[/p]
  • [p]Added BB02 Legs, a high durability tier 3 leg.[/p]

  • [p]Added the ability to use wrist mounted weapons like grapples, wrist cannons and pile bunkers on offhand arms while holding a two-handed weapon.[/p]
  • [p]Arms with nothing or a very light weapon (knives) equipped will provide a small top speed and acceleration boost.[/p]
  • [p]Added a 50% sprint to all legs with a low acceleration boost and low heat cost.[/p]
  • [p]Added a pumping animation to arms equipped with nothing or a very light weapon.[/p]
  • [p]Reworked certain attacks on small and medium weapons to deal less damage but cost no heat.[/p]
  • [p]Added camera motion that follows melee weapon attack motion. This can be adjusted with the screen shake setting.[/p]

  • [p]Increased the top speed boost and acceleration of the sprint on sprinting oriented legs.[/p]
  • [p]Added mass to all held weapons.[/p]
  • [p]Added a highlight to inventory slots when moused over.[/p]
  • [p]Added a highlight to the mech builder for the hovered and selected parts.[/p]
  • [p]Reworked the layout of the build menus.[/p]
  • [p]Removed the camera movement when selecting parts in the mech builder.[/p]
  • [p]Reworked some tutorial text to additionally emphasize what needs to be done to progress.[/p]
  • [p]Reworked quadruped leg animations to be better.[/p]
  • [p]Reduced the final boss's durability scaling with player count.[/p]
