Update 0.5.6
⚖ BALANCE
• [p]"Blubber" Mutation: Microbe Health +25% → +30%.[/p]
[p][/p]
🔄 CHANGES
• [p]Enzymes:[/p]
• [p]The Enzyme count at the top right of the CHECKLIST menu is now dimmed when you have 0.[/p]
• [p]Enzyming a researchable part will now also research it, so it doesn't appear unpurchased in the RESEARCH menu (this won't apply retroactively if you've already done so though, sorry 😅).[/p]
• [p]Descriptions:[/p]
• [p]"Obliterate" Gadget: Updated in-game description so it's clearer what it actually does.[/p]
• [p]"Fusion" Core: Updated in-game description so it's clear that more Core Max is better.[/p]
• [p]"0V3-RL0RD" Motherboard: Now specifies only DNA & Gene slots come pre-opened.[/p]
• [p]"BROOD" Mode: Now clearly states that Powerpolyps spawn in threes.[/p]
• [p]Some other part description improvements here and there.[/p]
• [p]Microbe elimination effects are now a bit different based on how they got eliminated.[/p]
• [p]Powerpolyps are now harder to miss visually.[/p]
• [p]A warning popup will appear before you form AGTT Bubble Blaster when using parts that grant all weapons Sticky (this weapon can't use Sticky because Areas themselves can't be Sticky).[/p]
• [p]It's now more clear in the CHECKLIST that the DEPTHs you see there are green when you've won at that DEPTH, not if it's merely unlocked.[/p]
[p][/p]
🔨 FIXES
• [p]Last patch broke being able to discover 4-DNA weapons half of the time 😅[/p]
• [p]Explosive Weapons + Flak or Split: now all projectiles in the chain can have Burn, Pierce, Freeze, Zap or Bounce.[/p]
• [p]Powerpolyp Circles: Won't look low resolution on big Nanobots anymore.[/p]
• [p]"Cerberus" Guardian + "Bipod" Mod: Now locks Cerberii aim rotation too.[/p]
• [p]"Snare" Guardian: Trailguns and GGTT Acid Rain could deal Damage/Knockback outside of Snare's ring.[/p]
• [p]"Aperture" Guardian: Instabreaking Deposits no longer shows a Damage popup.[/p]
• [p]DATABASE / ARSENAL: Having the "Explosive" filter enabled with any other weapon behaviour filter enabled would filter every weapon out.[/p]

Update 0.5.5
⚖ BALANCE
• [p]"0V3-RL0RD" Motherboard: Core Max -30% → -35%, Core Rate -30% → -35% (having all slots pre-opened is a hell of an advantage).[/p]
[p][/p]
🔄 CHANGES
• [p]Definitions for Core Max, Core Rate & Core Delay now actually make sense for each individual core (instead of simply having keywords in the definitions swapped out).[/p]
• [p]Adjusted some of the new player tutorial flow (if you're reading this, it probably won't affect you).[/p]
• [p]Banish Deposits: can grant 4/6/8 → 6/9/12 Banishes.[/p]
• [p]"Bandage" Mod: Unlocks after losing 100 → 30 Health.[/p]
[p][/p]
🔨 FIXES
• [p]The audio "crackle" bug was not fixed last update - I've tried a number of different things this time though, so I'm really hoping it's solved now. If you heard them before this update and still do after 0.5.5, let me know! (and make sure your game version is 0.5.5)[/p]
• [p]"Boombox" Guardian: Stuck Sticky projectiles now scale with the beat.[/p]
• [p]"Seismograph" Mod: Velocity modifiers now affect Explosion Size & Area Size.[/p]
• [p]A couple more typos.[/p]
• [p]A couple other fixes.[/p]
[p][/p]
BUG REPORTS I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO SOLVE / REPRODUCE
[p]If you experience any of these in 0.5.5+, let me know (in comments or Discord) - and also tell me a bit about your Nanobot part selection / what Mode you were playing.[/p]
• [p]"Defibrillator" Mod: Mod icon in bottom left displaying bright pink while charging / not ready to trigger[/p]
• [p]"Vice" Mod: Mod icon in bottom left faded out, but glowing pink on Nanobot[/p]
• [p]"Sprinkler" Bracket: Light cone appearing uncentered[/p]
• [p]getting the heal button explanation popup on the DEFEAT screen[/p]
• [p]"Obliterate" Gadget, "Singularity" Gadget: Their effects occuring noticably/undoubtedly far away from where the visual indicates they occured.[/p]

Update 0.5.4
⚖ BALANCE
• [p]"Turbocharger" Mod: Firerate increases from -80% to +80% → -75% to +75%.[/p]
[p][/p]
🔄 CHANGES
• [p]Some part description wordings to make their function more clear (ex. Electricity Core).[/p]
• [p]Made microbe elimination sounds a bit more audible.[/p]
[p][/p]
🔨 FIXES
• [p]"Snare" Guardian:[/p]
• [p]Stuck projectiles no longer use Sticky Duration (so they won't automatically expire).[/p]
• [p]Explosions will no longer be able to deal Damage by reaching max Range and detonating (basically, projectiles should only be dealing Damage because they were stuck onto a Microbe).[/p]
• [p]Some other fixes too. (Snare is bug-free now as far as I'm aware)[/p]
• [p]"Screw" Platform: Forgot to actually do the 30 → 40 Speed buff (as stated in 0.5.3 notes).[/p]
• [p]"Tractor" Barrel + "Orbit" Bracket: Would sometimes cause projectiles to spawn further away from their actual orbit distance for 1 frame.[/p]
• [p]"Ankh" Mod: Hovering over it in SETUP would make multiple portions of the stat summary flash.[/p]
• [p]"Cage" Mod: Would sometimes not do anything despite being at 10 Health.[/p]
• [p]"CCT Trailgun", "CCTT Trailrocket", "CCGT Trail Splitshot" Weapons: Flak/Split now work properly.[/p]
• [p]Gamepad Users: Pause menu now navigable during Study / Mutation / Anomaly selection menus.[/p]
• [p]The stat summary in SETUP would sometimes show weird tiny percentage values below 1%.[/p]
• [p]I might have fixed a major memory leak caused by being in a dive for hours on end.[/p]
• [p]No more occassional audio "click" / "crackle" sounds 🎧[/p]
• [p]Some typos.[/p]
• [p]Other minor fixes.[/p]

Update 0.5.3
⚖ BALANCE
• [p]"Beelzebub" Guardian: Speed/Firerate/Time slowdown when hit 2s → 3s (so just don't get hit, ez 🐝)[/p]
• [p]"Maw" Guardian: Damage taken per second will now continue to increase beyond wave 30.[/p]
• [p]The wave 1 - 30 Maw experience is untouched[/p]
• [p]Getting deep into Endless is now just going to be more impressive (and still very possible)[/p]
• [p]"Tempest" Guardian: Projectiles that eliminate Microbes now deal Knockback, so that Tempest's Knockback behaviour works.[/p]
• [p]"Screw" Platform: Speed 30 → 40.[/p]
• [p]"Heatshield" Mod: Now lasts up to 5s (but exiting the overheated state and overheating again resets that timer!)[/p]
[p][/p]
⚙ SETTINGS
• [p]AUDIO:[/p]
• [p]Added "Shooting Sounds" toggle.[/p]
• [p]Added "Explosion Sounds" toggle.[/p]
[p][/p]
🔨 FIXES
• [p]Gamepad: You can now select between option buttons on dialog popups.[/p]
• [p]"Range +40% & Accuracy +40% & Velocity +40% on weapons with C DNA" Chip: Now applies the Accuracy & displays change correctly on weapon hover stats.[/p]
• [p]"Freon" Mod: Mod icon no longer looks inactive during a dive.[/p]
• [p]"Spoiler" Mod: It could be unlocked just sitting completely still 💀[/p]
• [p]"Plow" Mod: Unlock would sometimes not occur when it should.[/p]
• [p]"Jumper" Mod: Mod icon will only be lit if you have at least 4 Health (necessary for it to trigger).[/p]
• [p]Hitscan + Split:[/p]
• [p]Now plays firing sounds.[/p]
• [p]Now widens spreads (as was always intended).[/p]
• [p]Split no longer overwrites Projectiles stat.[/p]
• [p]And like 20 other things I didn't track, but I'll always at least track stuff like balance changes / content additions though.[/p]
[p][/p]

[p][/p][p]Some Known Bugs (hoping to have these addressed in 0.5.4 which would be in a few days from now):[/p]
• [p]"Snare" Guardian: Loads of stuff[/p]
• [p]"Obliterate" Gadget: Range inconsistencies + sometimes "missing"[/p]
• [p]"Singularity" Gadget: Weird position stuff[/p]
• [p]Hitscan + Bounce: Hitting things beyond their range[/p]
• [p]A couple things relating to gamepad navigation[/p]

Update 0.5.2

[p]Just a bunch of day-1 fixes.[/p][p]I'm aware of 3 gamepad / Steam Deck navigation bugs - if you ever somehow can't navigate to a button, remember you can always use the Right Thumbstick to move the cursor (until I fix these).[/p][p]I'll give you proper patch notes once I start actually adding / changing / balancing things.[/p]
