We've deployed a balancing and hotfix update based on player feedback. See the changelist below!

General
  • Inventory UI now disabled in lobby
  • Pneumatic Launcher system renamed to Manned Torpedo
  • Credits updated


Balance
  • Store vending machine item spawns overhauled. Stores now always spawn 1 weapon/equipment, 0-1 ammo stacks, 1-2 consumable items, 0-1 random items
  • Oxygen Tank cost decreased: $12 -> $10
  • Oxygen Tank scrap cost decreased: 4 -> 2
  • Oxygen Tank weight decreased: 6 -> 4.5
  • Workshop spawn weight increased: 10 -> 20
  • Heavy Workshop spawn weight increased: 8 - > 16
  • Flooded outpost loot spawning bonus increased: 15% -> 30%
  • Rebreather oxygen bonus increased: 250% -> 300%
  • Item spawn weights increased in LockedRoom_00
  • Item spawn weights increased in LockedRoom_01
  • Service Submarine starting credits increased: $8 -> $30
  • Service Submarine now starts with lantern in storage


Bug Fixes
  • Fixed issue where clients could lose items switching districts
  • Fixed issue where Jumbo Crab would sometimes stop moving after attacking player
  • Issue where Jumbo Crab could sometimes not hear clients should be fixed
  • Jumbo Crab player tracking improved
  • Bomb quest rooms can no longer spawn in flooded outposts
  • Fixed enemy submarines that fired incorrect weapons
  • Enemies can no longer stun players with critical blocks, preventing players from attacking
  • Manned Torpedo broken floor concrete colour updated

Steam community items are now available!

Hi everyone!

'Tis the season for giving! We're thrilled to announce that Steam Community Items are now available to players:
  • New profile badges, with a sweet golden foil for collectors
  • Seven new trading cards featuring enemy art portraits
  • Three profile backgrounds with dark and eye-watering art from the game
  • Ten unique emoticons to use around Steam.

Players will be retroactively rewarded with trading cards for their previous playtime. The new backgrounds and emoticons are also available from the Points Shop.

  • Store item generation code re-written. Room/weapon spawns should be much better balanced
  • Automaton Room(1x2) is now much more likely to spawn when playing solo

  • Game now pauses when opening settings menu while playing solo
  • Ceiling lamp in Sonar Room(2x3) moved in front of the sonar table instead of over it, meaning it should be easier to re-light
  • Harpoon (Ammo) crafting recipe added to: Workshop(2x2), Heavy Workshop(2x3), Medium Arsenal(2x2), Large Arsenal(2x3)


General Balance
  • Outpost Loot Spawn Modifier increased on hard difficulty: 0.55 -> 0.6
  • AI Damage Modifier on medium decreased: 0.65 -> 0.6
  • AI Damage Modifier on hard decreased: 0.9 -> 0.8


Item Balance
  • Webley Revolver range increased: 80 -> 100
  • Webley Revolver accuracy increased: 85 -> 90
  • Webley Revolver damage increased: 35 -> 42
  • Webley Revolver weight reduced: 6.5 -> 4.5
  • Harpoon Gun weight increased: 5 -> 6
  • Double Shotgun weight increased: 6 -> 6.75

  • Credits can now spawn in the Pantry_Small item pool, resulting in about a 50% decrease in food spawns
  • Canned Tube Worms and Tinned Fishmeal spawns decreased
  • Harbour Lights spawn weight doubled in spawn pool Pantry_Medium
  • Small Medical Kit spawn weight increased, and Medical Kit spawn weight decreased in spawn pools Medical_Small and Medical_Medium
  • Dreams of Greens and Dreams of Meat hitpoints recovery decreased: 20 -> 15
  • Tinned Fishmeal hitpoints recovery increased: 35 -> 38
  • Canned Tube Worms hitpoints recovery increased: 40 -> 45

Submarine Weapon Balance
  • Decoy Charge Mk.1 ammo cost reduced: 15 -> 10
  • Decoy Charge Mk.2 ammo cost reduced: 25 -> 15

  • Pump Manual(1x1) cost decreased: $50 -> $40

  • Pump Automatic(2x2) pumping speed reduced by 20%


Enemy Balance
  • Infected spawn rate decreased. Max spawn amount reduced: 12 -> 10
  • Infected Diver hitpoints reduced: 65 -> 60
  • Clam Swarm hitpoints reduced: 150 -> 95
