Patch R066: Summer Breakthrough

[p]Patch R066 brings  a major update to the Soviet breakthrough doctrine, the first in a planned update of all of the three Soviet doctrines following the release of the faction in 2024.  Alongside these doctrinal changes, we are also still tinkering away at improving the overall balance and uniqueness of the Soviet faction with further patches aiming to introduce more reward units for Soviet players to make use of.   • [p]Assault order: made a base unlock on the Serzhant. Now gives -50% received suppression, +50% moving accuracy and -33% reload for a 25 second duration (instead of -30% received damage, moving accuracy and reload over a 20 second duration)[/p]
  • [p]Stand and Fight: Now also grants PTRD squads a short duration rapid fire ability
    (-33% reload time, -1 speed for 20 seconds) [/p]
  • [p]Combat Repairs: now a free unlock on guards that allow repairs with ingame manpower. (currently set at 50 MP/use) Repair amount reduced to 150 HP over a 100s period (from 200 HP) to gear it more towards use on light vehicles and medium tanks[/p]
  • [p]Infantry Tactics: replaced with new ability “Mechanised Vanguard”. Grants DSHK, T60s and T70s the ability to capture and hold territory. Also gives T34 access to a mine roller. [/p]
  • [p]Explosive Ordnance: now gives access to HE filler rounds as a timed ability instead of as a flat +15% damage buff. (+20% damage, -10% accuracy, 20s duration, 180s cooldown). When activated this ability also negates the bonus penetration and scatter from the BR-354P rounds unlock. [/p]
  • [p]Infantry Provisions: ability now also grants guards, and strelki access to grenades on global pool[/p]
  • [p]Za Rodinu: tank infantry aura changed to -20% weapon cooldown instead of +20% damage. Range increased to 60 meters (from 20)[/p]
  • [p]Defense in Attack: now extended to all SV infantry[/p]
  • [p]Factory No. 183: now also gives +1 pop for every Katyusha on the field[/p]
  • [p]Breakthrough Assault: replaced with new ability “Ura!”. Grants infantry and support weapons access to sprint (+20 MP)[/p]

Welcome to the great wipe of 2025 Q2. We've been hard at work for you boys, and even though we've done a lot, there's so much more to do!



All:
  • War contribution is now counted per faction instead of per company
  • Removed hotkeys from repair kits
  • Rolled out reverse to a number of light vehicles
  • Mainline US, CW, PE and WM infantry vet 3-5 bonuses have been changed.
  • Updated 8p Tilburg and 6p El Alamein (thanks ivsh!)

Vet 3: 20% dmg, 10% hp
Vet 4: -20/40% rec suppression (& new squad leader weapon on some infantry)

  • Bren suppression fire: suppression modifier reduced significantly

  • HMG42: cost reduced to 280MP (from 300)
  • Begleits: G43 upgrade cost reduced to 45 MU (from 50)
  • Joint Ops: now also gives +1 use to stormtrooper bundle grenades
  • V1 offmap: damage modifier versus buildings increased to 0.7 (this to ensure a direct hit kills the +100HP triage)
  • V1 offmap: cost increased to 110 MU
  • Feldgendarmerie: retreat ability now tied to the squad NCOs (2/4 squad members), this will mean that losing men puts you at risk of losing the stop retreat ability
  • Char B2 removed from terror
  • LEFH Howitzer crew now able to retreat
  • Pz38(t) available as a reward unit!


PE
  • SE MG42: cost reduced to 300 MP (from 320)
  • Luftwaffe infantry: cost increased to 175 MP (from 165)
  • Wirblewind: cost reduced to 180 F (from 190)
  • X7 Rocket: L range bracket (5 - 7m) damage modifier reduced to 0.35 from 0.5
  • Fixed P4 IST rapid fire hotkey overlap
  • Panzerwerfer: AOE damage reduced to be more in line with Nebelwerfer
  • Captured KV1 reward unit has been replaced with Char B2
  • Sturmtiger: weapon cooldown reduced to 120s (from 150s). 350mm shell speed increased slightly
  • Pz38(t) available as a reward unit!


SV
  • Shturmoviki: cost increased to 300 MP (from 290)
  • Saperi: population cost increased to 4 (from 3)
  • Maxim MG: cost reduced to 280 MP (from 300)
  • Guards: infantry armour type changed to airborne. HP reduced from 90 to 85
  • OSNAZ: HP reduced to 90 (from 95)
  • PPSH: reduced dps at medium and especially long range
  • Eviction: fixed a bug with eviction ppsh having much better stats than intended
  • Soviet Resilience: cost on Shturmoviki increased to 30 MP (from 25)
  • Shock troop saperi: +1 man no longer adds +1 pop
  • AT Rifle Squad: given access to rifle corps upgrade in propaganda war
  • IL2 rocket run: call on delay time changed to 2.5s - 3.5s (from 2 - 4s)
  • DT LMG: should now work with eviction
  • ISU152 and BT7 now available as reward units!
