IOSoccer Update - 19 May 2019

[GAMEPLAY]
  • Ball physics reverted (already since 17 May)
  • Gravity increased (still less than pre-15 May)
  • Volley now only gives 5% more power and curl (was 10%)
  • Keeper punch minimum strength increased

[GAMEPLAY]

  • Ball reach reduced
    - The ball ‘box’ has been slightly decreased to make the ball reach realistic with the texture.

  • Landing speed when jumping increased
    - Now you won’t lose too much speed when you land after a jump.

  • Walking speed increased
    - Ceremonial but still good to see a bit increased

  • Running speed decreased
    - To create a decent gap between sprint and run speed. As increasing sprint speed wasn’t an option. This was a good alternative. After all it’s also the most realistic change.

  • Player accelerate decreased
    - Another slight reduce in acceleration. So it will take a bit longer to get full speed.

  • Player bounding box increased
    - From 20x20 to 22x22. This was 24x24 prior to the April update. 22x22 should be just enough to not go through players while keeping the boxes small as possible.

  • Slide tackle forward reach increased
    - To make up for the lack of speed that it suffered month ago.

  • Slide tackle height reach increased
    - Now more chance you can slide the ball more in the air than before

  • Keeper diving speed increased
    - As we want to make the keeper realistic but also playable. It’s best to have a faster speed (as long it’s not ridiculous high) but less in total reach.

  • Keeper forward dive height reach increased
    - Same as slide tackling but also for keeper forward dive

  • Keeper rebound power increased
    - For making it harder to score ‘easy’ rebound goals

  • Keeper time parry timer increased
    - More likely that a keeper parry shots. However keeper will always save standing saves and when the ball comes near the hands (sweetspot).

  • Volley now adds 10% more power and spin
    - Get ready. You can only volley when ball is hip height and curling it.

  • All shots and headers can be performed on various angles
    - For example headers are easier to control as they can come down more than before.

  • Deflections have more weight
    - The ball will ‘fly’ less when you shoot on someone while he can’t control it.

  • Dribbling weight reduced
    - Should make dribbling feel more responsive

  • Set-piece time limit increased
    - Instead of 15 seconds, you now have 20 seconds time to shoot.

  • Set-piece system changed
    - You can only run to the ball. If you failed to do so you will need to run back and wait till the block timer is off.

  • Set-piece shield increased
    - Example for free-kicks the wall distance is bigger. This should give the free-kick taker a better chance to shoot over the wall.


[MISC]


  • 8v8_wasser_stadium added
    - Finally a new 8v8 stadium arrived! Thanks to @NIGHTFLAME

  • Ukraine generic kits added
    - The yellow blue Ukrainian generic kit made by @nsq

  • cl_cam_height new default value is 0.
    - It’s better for newer players to learn from the 0 height view. However this doesn’t any current players as their height value is already set in config.cfg.

[GAMEPLAY]
  • Foul call will take 1 second quicker (2 to 1 second)
  • Offside distance checker reduced (50 to 25 units)
  • Back and side heel power increased
  • Topspin reduced (0.66 to 0.6)


[KEEPER]
  • Height reach reduced from 95 to 90
  • Non-catch saves go more forward rather than sideways
  • Speed increased (525 to 600)
  • Movement rate reduced (0.5 to 0.4)
  • Idle time reduced (0.4 to 0.33)


[HUD]
  • Option for toggle names and position is now available in Customize > Visuals

[GAMEPLAY]

  • Fixed a bug where stamina drained when moving left or right
  • Fixed a bug where you could bicycle or diving header without getting called for double touch
  • Ball should bounce more properly when curled
  • Ball slows down more when on ground
  • Increased the height of the most powerful angle in a way that makes shots on target less powerful
  • Keeper deflection/parry power increased
  • Increased sideways reach of slides
  • Diving header can now be performed in a much higher angle
  • Play always stops when second yellow or red card given
  • When player commit a penalty the maximum punishment is a yellow card
  • Golden goal is now in IOS! : mp_goldengoal 1 to activate. This will only work when match is in extra-time.


[OTHER]

  • Updated stamina and shot bar placement, size and color.
  • Fixed a bug where client crash occurs after reloading a map more than 2 or 3 times
  • Default formations are flat again
  • Merged ban duration between second yellow and red card: sv_ball_player_banduration is the new ConVar


[ASSETS]

  • Updated the templates that fixed an issue where the penalty spot wasn’t set properly. Visit https://forums.iosoccer.com/t/mapping-guide 1 to find the updated template.

  • Parcheado un bug en el cual podías hacer dobles toques en las pelotas muertas
  • El balón rebota mejor cuándo se le añade efecto
  • El balón se mueve más lento en el campo
  • Aumentado la altura del ángulo de disparo más potente, haciendo así los tiros a portería menos potentes
  • El desvío que produce el portero al no coger la pelota es mayor
  • Aumentado la distancia lateral de las entradas
  • Remate de cabeza en plancha ahora se puede realizar desde una mayor altura
  • El juego se para inmediatamente si hay una expulsión
  • En los penaltis la mayor penalización es una tarjeta amarilla
  • ¡Gol de oro llega a IOS! (mp_goldengoal 1 para activarla) solo funciona en los tiempos extra


[OTROS]

  • Actualizados la posición, tamaño y color de las barras de aguante y potencia de tiro.
  • Parcheado un bug en el cual el cliente se caía después de recargar el mapa 2 o 3 veces
  • La formación por defecto se ha restablecido a 3-1-3
  • La duración de una tarjeta roja y una segunda amarilla ha sido juntado en un mismo ConVar (sv_ball_player_banduration)


[RECURSOS]

  • Actualizados las templates de los mapas que provocaba un desplazamiento incorrecto de la pelota en los penaltis (visita https://forums.iosoccer.com/t/mapping-guide 1 para encontrar la nueva template)
  • Añadido nueva equipación -> Dinamarca

  • Corrigimos um erro onde se perdia stamina quando se caminhava para a esquerda ou direita.
  • Corrigimos um erro onde se podia fazer pontapé de bicicleta ou cabeceamento em peixinho sem haver falta por duplo toque.
  • Agora a bola deverá saltitar mais correctamente depois de ser batida com efeito.
  • Agora a bola fica mais lenta quando corrida pelo chão.
  • Aumentámos a altura do ângulo mais poderoso para que os remates enquadrados sejam menos fortes.
  • Aumentada a força nos ressaltos após defesas do Guarda Redes.
  • Aumentado o alcance dos carrinhos.
  • Cabeceamento em peixinho pode ser agora feito numa altura maior.
  • A partir de agora, a jogada pára sempre após segundo cartão amarelo ou cartão vermelho.
  • Sempre que um jogador cometa uma grande penalidade, o castigo máximo é um cartão amarelo.
  • Golo de Ouro chegou ao IOS!: mp_goldengoal 1 para activar o mesmo. Apenas funcionará caso o jogo esteja em prolongamento.

  • Actualizámos o posicionamento, tamanho e cor de ambas as barras de energia e poder de remate.
  • Corrigimos um erro onde o jogo vai abaixo após recarregar o mapa mais de 2 ou 3 vezes.
  • Formações padrão estão direitas outra vez.
  • Fundidas as durações de expulsão entre segundo cartão amarelo e cartão vermelho: sv_ball_player_banduration é o novo ConVar.

  • Correction d’un bug où la barre d’endurance se vidait en se déplaçant à gauche et à droite
  • Correction d’un bug où vous pouviez faire une retournée acrobatique ou une tête plongeante sans être fautif d’un double contact
  • La balle rebondira plus proprement lorsqu’elle est issue d’une frappe enroulée
  • La balle ralentira plus vite lorsqu’elle roule sur le sol
  • Augmentation de la hauteur de l’angle le plus puissant d’une manière qui rend les tirs sur la cible moins puissants

[AUTRE]

  • Mise à jour du placement des barres d’endurance et de tir, de leurs taille et de leurs couleurs
  • Correction d’un bug où le jeu plantait après un redémarrage d’une map plus de 2 ou 3 fois
  • Les formations par défaut sont à nouveau alignées
  • Le temps d’exclusion entre un deuxième carton jaune et un carton rouge est désormais le même. sv_ball_player_banduration est la nouvelle commande pour modifier cette valeur


[AJOUTS]

  • Bug verholpen waar een speler stamina gebruikt wanneer hij naar links/rechts loopt zonder te sprinten.
  • Bug verholpen waar je meer dan eén keer kon aanraken bij een dode spelmoment wanneer je omhaal of vliegende kopbal gebruikt.
  • Bal moet nu beter stuiteren wanneer een effect aan zit.
  • Bal is nu wat langzamer wanneer het de grond raakt.
  • Schot kracht is nu maximaal wanneer het hoger is dan de goal. Dit betekent dat schot op goal wat minder krachtig is.
  • Keeper rebounds of deflecties hebben iets meer kracht.
  • Zijkanten van sliding meer reach gegeven.
  • Vliegende kopbal kan nu in een hogere hoogte gedaan worden.
  • Spel valt gelijk stil wanneer een speler tweede geel of rode kaart krijgt.
  • Bij een strafschop is de maximale straf eén gele kaart.
  • Golden goal is nu in IOS! Met mp_goldengoal 1 kan je het activeren. Dit werkt alleen tijdens extra tijd.


[ANDERE]

  • Stamina en schiet bar verandered. Ook de playerinfo zit er tussenin.
  • Bug verholpen waar speler van de game crasht wanneer hij meerdere malen een map laadt.
  • Standaard formaties is nu 3-1-3 in plaats van 3-1-1-2
  • De command sv_ball_player_banduration vervangt twee oudere commands.
