2023 07 02
- added 4th of July fireworks display that automatically runs for 3 days a year
- added an auto reload with gun switching mechanic when out of ammo (handi cfg)
- added keyboard mapping for reloads and gears for people without scroll mouses
- adjusted some timing in radar slightly dealing with kills, pings, and resets
-- added retro attack sounds to the Bat Man and Red Mask characters in TP mode
--- added dual pistols mode called "Agent Man" and working on remote C4 next

2023 06 29
- added aim assist detection to Target Practice mode so players can better understand the mechanics (toggles off with "handi help" config)
- added display text on main menu for each controller stick and button pressed to check your setups or refresh your memory before starting
- added new CPU management for potato PCs that stops frame dropping during intense battles (seems to have benefited high-end PCs as well in some cases, but cant be sure until further testing of the plunger I shove in my ass and run down the street cackling like a witch on a broom)
- changed the default look and aim sensitivities slightly to what I think everyone will be happy with and if not, you can still adjust it back
- fixed Burst Shot function (F9) not unpausing audio after capturing and continuing the game plus made it assignable to controller buttons
- fixed rare cases of directional hit arrows staying on too long and hanging around bad mouthing your mother while youre trying to play the game
-- added new button to controllers that uses a new "Snap To Radar" mechanic that points you in the direction of the Radar Arrows (while active) tracking both the last bullet hit's origin and or the nearest player. make sure to set this in the Input Tab (on the launcher) to use!

2023 06 23
- added "BALL" text when picking up Murder Ball before moving to top left corner display
- changed amount of time Predator Cloaking is disabled to 3 seconds when hit by flying pies
- changed Botz & Helz with teams enabled to force a time limit to ensure helicopter swaps
- fixed many low level hoes and made various code optimizations for speed and stability

Heli Pickups, Aim Assist, and Homing Missiles

2023 06 19
This month's batch of updates made last weekend's play tests near perfection! Even with people who've never played before, the fun just flows!
- fixed gray death glitch from last update cause i screw stuff up when i'm short on time
- fixed new homing missiles from going around in circles on near misses and player dodges
- replaced radar arrows with a sharper model to better match other UI elements on screen

- added text to show which weapon currently using when heli or pred
- adjusted aim assist range to better snap to players rushing close
- changed aim assist to not engage through smoke grenades or trees
- changed laser dots to update every frame (tell me if your PC lags)
- fixed hit source direction arrows sometimes staying on past death
- fixed metal cutouts in TP mode leaning back flat when above them
- fixed nametag on chest not cloaking with the rest of predator parts
-- added Helz Only mode back with secondary aim to fire homing missiles

- adjusted inactivity arrows to fade each second of radar to differentiate radar pings from bullet hits
- changed sky dome geometry with new sky textures and adjusted the density of fog for better visibility

- adjusted music system to fade out a little slower into the applause at round ends
- changed how third person cameras spawn in to the map to better convey the mechanics of it
- changed inactivity arrows to stay on the entire time between nearest player pings
- changed third person test cameras to switch player view direction by whether they're aiming or not
-- added a 4th graphics tier ("ass") for those who like to play with 8x AA but in super low resolution to give it that late 90s look. now you can use the 3rd tier ("butter") for 4K displays where AA isn't needed as much to keep everyone's screens pixel sharp, or, max it out with "ass" in 4K.
-- increased controller dead zones on the launcher's input tab for people who don't understand what controller drift is

Dynamic Music System, Target Practice Waves, & More

2023 03 31
- added the following playable demos to Work Site map.. reverb boxes, portal booths, graffiti system, & automatic rollups
- changed Murder Ball icons to stay on while carrying regardless of distance plus hides it's graphics until dropped again

2023 03 29
- added flying debris to all explosives to match the feel of bullet impacts
- added hallow space to interiors of pyramids with structures inside
- added more unfinished work in progress items to the Work Site map to see and play around with
- fixed AI sometimes beaming out when they're not even lost (they get scared i guess)
- restored nametags but instead of above your head they're now smaller across your chest
-- added wave system for Target Practice mode which increases both the frequency of spawning AI and the amount of AI allowed to spawn
--- added dynamic music system with some test music and combined with the new Target Practice waves it's a really crazy fun time

3rd Person Camera Sys + Video

2023 03 22..
- added text for applause conditions to identify which player earned it and for what reason
- changed inactivity radar arrows to toggle on and off with the Handicap Help config setting
- changed rockets to color grenade only and leave the flames plus added flames to heli "run"
- changed the distance in which third person cameras stop, giving more room to look around
- fixed a few timing issues with inactivity radar arrows for match starts and getting hit
- fixed final killcams in third person camera mode where text would overlay the scoreboard
- fixed grenades beeping sometimes after an impact explosive kill of target practice AIs
- fixed hit markers, scaling, and tracking for all icons with new third person cameras
- removed "neighborhood" test map and replaced it with older "work site" with WIP stuff
