Co-Op Progress Update
For now, third-person animations in Co-Op mode share the same assets as the first-person animations. To improve consistency and quality, I have to recreate them.

When Co-Op mode is released, I’ll start by adding the most frequently used animations first, then continue updating the rest through future patches. Some animations may look a bit off or incomplete in third-person until the full set is implemented.

Here’s a before and after comparison of the animation update:

New Version Update 0.6.2.2

New Version Update 0.6.2.2

Hello everyone,

Please check out the patch notes below.

For Co-Op, I’ll need a couple more weeks to rework the gunfight and melee combat systems. These new combat mechanics will be implemented in the Co-Op version. You can check the current progress below.

I’ve built the Co-Op version from scratch with a focus on optimized memory usage and better performance. Many core systems and logic have been reworked to ensure it runs more smoothly than the single-player version. --Once the content in Co-Op reaches parity with the single-player version, The Co-Op build will be default version of the game (which will still support single-player mode) ** However, some gameplay mechanics like the new gunfight, recoil rework, and melee combat will remain exclusive to Co-Op and won’t be added to current build single-player (controller support as well).

*** To clarify, single-player remains the main focus for story content, quests, world-building, and overall game progression. All new areas, characters, and missions will continue to be developed primarily for the single-player experience. Only a few systems—like gunfight, melee, and controller support—are being developed specifically for Co-Op.

Also, the Co-Op version isn’t just for CooOp Mode —it supports single-player as well. So once it’s ready to replace the old build, you will still be able to choose whether you want to play solo or Co-Op, with all the new improvements included.
Bug Fixes
• Fixed: Incorrect popup message when trying to light a campfire with an empty lighter.
 • Fixed: Tactical Grip spawning inside object stashes or skeletal meshes, making it unusable (couldn’t attach or display item icon).
 • Fixed: Some spawned world items were not interactable.
 • Fixed: Missing end animation when drinking.
 • Fixed: Rick Camp Quest not granting rewards after camp rebuild.
 • Fixed: Rick Camp Quest: Camp rebuild mission bug.
 • Fixed: Dog disappearing after exiting a car.
 • Fixed: Caravan/Trailer tilting up 90 degrees or sinking underground.
 • Fixed: .50 Cal turret not affecting animals and Seekers.
 • Fixed: Bandit Sniper’s laser not disappearing after being killed.
 • Fixed: NPC Rescue Quest: When an allied NPC was sitting in a vehicle and the player drove them to camp, they would become bugged upon exiting—unable to interact and stuck in a rotation glitch.
 • Fixed: Seeker Nest dissolving effect bug.
 • Fixed: Removed Molotov debugging radius.
 • Fixed: Stamina sometimes not regenerating after being fully depleted.
 • Fixed: Killing a Cannibal with a firearm or flamethrower caused an excessive number of machetes to drop.

- Recoil Rework (WIP)

Co-Op Progress Update

Hello everyone,

Over the past month, I’ve been working on transferring the map from the single-player project to the Co-Op project and filling in the level details. I’m aiming to make it playable and ready for the first private test by the end of March. You can check out some Co-Op gameplay in the link below:

Note*: Some animations, sounds, and 3D assets are placeholders for testing purposes only. These will be updated once all core systems are tested and polished. Additionally, the Co-Op version will come with full controller support.

As for the single-player version, the 0.6.2.2 patch will be available soon.

First, regarding the new areas update: Cannibal Territory and the big town currently have limited loot, I’ll be adding more in the next patch. However, you can find some loot in the abandoned house on the way to the Cannibal base.

And about Jiyeon’s quest: This is currently Part 1 of her questline. Part 2 will be added in the future patch, where you’ll be able to recruit her to your camp. (To make her appear, you’ll need to complete two tasks from the task manager in Carol Camp. And beat the Tank to clear the tunnel path.)

Please check the patch noted below. (*Note: patch details are carried over from the DevTest patch notes.)
