  • [p]Massive performance improvements across the entire game.[/p]
  • [p]Level loading is now much faster thanks to pre-baked quadtree (pathfinding collision map).[/p]
[h3] Visual / Graphics Improvements[/h3]
  • [p]Huge Modu shader upgrade - The tiles now change color and skin according to their stored nutrients and their damage.[/p]
  • [p]Acid sacks on turrets and other weapons match acid ammo availability.[/p]
  • [p]Victory screen images now match the current campaign level.[/p]
  • [p]Modu have smoother movement animations.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Modu rotation swirl effect in the shader.[/p]
  • [p]Mortar acid bombs now glow green, making them much easier to distinguish.[/p]
  • [p]Mortar and Turret projectiles made slightly faster for clearer readability.[/p]
[h3] Gameplay Improvements[/h3]
  • [p]Eyes now also boost projectile speed when they increase weapon range.[/p]
  • [p]Line-Of-Fire limitations: Direct-firing weapons can't shoot through walls but ballistic, and indirect weapons (Mortar, Hive) can attack above walls.[/p]
  • [p]Refined NPC/Destroyable targeting making it easier to shoot them, even without line-of-fire.[/p]
  • [p]Organ rebalance pass (general tweaks; small tentacles nerfed).[/p]
  • [p]Nutrient Leech rebalance: Small Mouths steal 1 nut every 3 bites (reduced siphoning efficiency).[/p]
  • [p]Camera rotation key fixed - A full rotation now consistently takes 2 seconds.[/p]
[h3] Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • [p]Fixed Miller’s hovercraft ripple effect in Level 1.[/p]
  • [p]Save/Load fix: Fixed several issues that were introduced in the multiplayer patch.[/p]
  • [p]Save/Load fix: Resolves the issue when saving right after killing Mogar but before grabbing the Eye.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed merging issue: Merging many units sometimes required several clicks.[/p]
  • [p]Weapon Targeting System regression fixed.[/p]
  • [p]Heart Cosmetics now properly display to all players in multiplayer.[/p]

We are delighted to announce the comeback of the multiplayer option, as well as other fixes and improvements on graphics and difficulty system![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]With the Multiplayer mode being active again, it's time to bring back training and challenges with our Weekly multiplayer session. You can join every Saturday at 19:00 CET / 10:00 PDT / 13:00 EDT on our Discord Server and find other players to discuss strategy, tips and also show off your battling skills![/p][h2]

  • [p]Fixed several recent regressions that were disrupting and causing desyncs in multiplayer matches[/p]
  • [p]Fixed bugs with growing organs in multiplayer[/p]
  • [p]Fixed several bugs that prevented specific tiles from dying in a multiplayer match in some situations[/p]
  • [p]Added extra safelocks to prevent multiplayer clients from performing invalid splits and merges[/p]
  • [p]Fixed "Surrender" option in multiplayer matches[/p]
  • [p]Fixed bug where harvesters would eat the wrong plants in some of the newer multiplayer maps[/p]
  • [p]Fixed correct display of Supporter Pack heart cosmetics in multiplayer[/p]
  • [p]Added correction logic to try to correct and ensure the same state on every player's computer[/p]
  • [p]Added safety measures that ensure any invalid tiles separate out and don't prevent player control[/p]
