[1.0.3] Save File Stability Fixes & Important Note!

We are continuing to polish game with patches! This patch addresses issues with interactions, save file reliability and more.

[h2]Important Note[/h2]
We wanted to inform you that we've implemented additional save file protection in the game. While this means your save file is now less likely to be corrupted if an error occurs, it may result in a disconnection from the game with an error message, please send it to us! Rest assured, your save file will remain safe, and you’ll be able to load back in and continue playing. We understand this can be inconvenient, but this is a temporary solution while we work on fixing errors that are causing disruptions.

We are relentlessly working to improve stability, and with DAILY updates, we expect things to get better. Your feedback is invaluable to us, so please continue reporting any issues you encounter, including logs and saves. This will help us address the problems as quickly as possible. We sincerely appreciate your patience as we work on resolving these issues. Thank you for sticking with us!

[h2]Fixes:[/h2]
  • Markers for non-existent Mother Root events will no longer appear on the compass
  • Mother Root event involving bringing the shiny rock will no longer break if you carry it too far
  • Cookers should no longer work when they are not supposed to
  • It is no longer possible to select invisible entities
  • If host encounters an error, it is now less likely to corrupt the save file

[1.0.2] Coop Stability Improvements and More!

Even though Time to Morp is released, we are going to continue improving it with patches! This patch focuses on multiplayer fixes and more including:

[h2]Improvements[/h2]
  • Players attempting to initiate a cutscene are now pinged on compass
  • The loading UI now displays proper background

[h2]Fixes[/h2]
  • Returning to the main menu now correctly refreshes save files
  • The quest involving stuck Mol no longer breaks for client
  • NPCs now correctly move to their designated positions for client
  • Loading a game with an active stuck Mol quest no longer breaks game for client
  • NPCs shop UI now displays full item descriptions
  • Pinned quests from Researcher now properly display titles
  • Player skins no longer break when equipped with specific neck items
  • Players can now exit to the main menu while playing in coop
  • Holding marmalade when it spoils no longer causes client to break
  • Playing an emote while another player is connecting no longer causes client to break

Time to Morp is Officially Launching Out of Early Access!

We’re so excited to announce that Time to Morp is finally out of Early Access and ready for you to try, with all the awesome changes we made based on community feedback! If you're new to Time to Morp, dive into Morphing with a 30% launch discount!

We’ve completely changed the whole game, and because of that, save files created before March 6th won’t work. But don’t worry — a totally fresh experience is ready for you and your friends, with changes including:

What's New?


[h2]Fishing[/h2]
Catch fish and seaweed — unique ingredients for cooking. Want to fish more efficiently? Simply upgrade your fishing rod for better results! And hey, you might even get lucky and reel in bags of goodies filled with useful resources.



[h2]Cooking[/h2]
We’ve added tons of new recipes, including snacks for Morps! Rare ingredients will level up your dishes, and you can give them to Morps or NPCs to boost your reputation for juicy rewards!




[h2]Personal Housing[/h2]
As you level up your city, you'll eventually unlock a personal home! With all the themed decor, you can make it cozy right away. You’ll be able to build a small or big house not just for yourself, but for each of your friends too!



[h2]Shopping[/h2]
Each NPC now has their own shop. They can sell you themed decor, rare recipes, cool abilities, or just some regular resources if you're running low!



[h2]City Center[/h2]
You can build, rank up your City Center and earn rewards! As you continue to build your city, you'll unlock even more unique decor to make it your own.



[h2]Tools and Terraforming[/h2]
Pickaxe, axe, shovel, and other new tools let you terraform the landscape however you want! Dig with the shovel, clear stones with the pickaxe, and cut down vegetation with shears. Don't forget that you can always boost your efficiency with upgraded tools — just level up your reputation with NPCs to earn upgrades as rewards!



[h2]Researcher[/h2]
There’s more fun tech to explore in Researcher, from water tech to lasers and generators — all designed to help automate your production!



[h2]Exploration[/h2]
Explore and complete different world events for rewards, uncover mysteries of abandoned huts, and collect rare resources!



[h2]Cozy Feeling[/h2]
We’ve not only changed the mechanics of Time to Morp, but also revamped the overall look with new style, colors, visuals, and more, all to create a more relaxing gameplay experience!

Cozy Decor and Personal Home Coming March 6th!



[h3]Hello, Interns![/h3]
We’ve got few last things to share before Time to Morp officially leaves Early Access! From new ways to collect lucky coins to cozier looks and a whole bunch of decor options, there’s a lot to look forward to. Let’s take a look at the exciting new features coming your way on March 6th with the full release!

[h2]How to get lucky coins?[/h2]
Decor will be unlockable using lucky coins, which players can collect while exploring and leveling up reputation with Morps! But you can also automate the process — just set up a Luck Extractor, and you'll earn coins in exchange for resources.



[h2]Themed Decor[/h2]
Decor will be also available in NPC shops, with each NPC selling their own themed decor. For example, the Gardener will offer wheelbarrows, shovels, and buckets, while the Mechanic will have wrenches, cars, tires, and more! NPC shops won’t just have decor — they’ll also offer cool abilities, recipes, gadgets, and resources.



[h2]Personal Home[/h2]
As you level up your city, you'll unlock more and more home-themed decor — beds, chairs, tables and more — until you eventually unlock a personal home! And with all the themed decor, you can make it cozy right away. You’ll be able to build a small or big house not just for yourself, but for each of your friends too!



[h2]Cozier Look[/h2]
We're tweaking the overall vibe of all models in the game to be less sci-fi and have cozier look instead, making them a better fit for the game's theme! We will continue to improve them if needed.

[h2]City Defining Decor[/h2]
You’ll be able to develop your city with a cozier look too, not just your personal home! There will be more road signs, new bridges, notice board, and decor that can turn into local attractions, like fountains and gazebos!



[h2]New Fences[/h2]
Fences are getting a visual upgrade too. Their look will change depending on the area they’re set to, like Forest, Tech, Laser, and more!



[h2]Food[/h2]
There will be lots more delicious food for you to cook — we made sure it looks just as tasty as it sounds!



[h2]Names[/h2]
As a little extra touch of magic, we're finally giving proper names to all NPCs and Morps, making every interaction feel more personal!

[h2]Small Patch - Live Now![/h2]
We also made a few changes to the game, including:
  • Improved sky color: this is the first step in reworking colors for Time to Morp! We'd love to hear what you think so we can keep improving the game's colors together, step by step.
  • Removed festive hats from Morps — but don’t worry! They’ll be back along with a bunch of other hats we’re planning for patch 1.1!
  • Added a disclaimer about save files: just a quick reminder — because of all the changes we’ve made, current save files won’t work after release of patch 1.0. But don’t worry, plenty of fresh experiences await!

The moment you’ve all been waiting for - Time to Morp is breaking free from Early Access and we’re so excited to bring you the full game! After a year of your amazing feedback, we're stoked to announce that Version 1.0 launches on March 6th, 2025!

Take care of playful creatures - Morps. Use their help to gather resources, grow crops, build and decorate a base, set up pipe networks, automate everything and explore the world to find new species and rare materials.

Farm, fish, build, and grow your city — all with Morps by your side on your adventures!



[h2]Important - Save Files[/h2]
As you can see from the roadmap above, we’ve made a lot of changes to Time to Morp’s early, mid, and late game, making it difficult for current save files to stay compatible. So, after a community survey, we decided that existing save files will no longer load after the 1.0 patch on March 6th. But don’t worry — starting a fresh save will give you a completely new experience, with exploration, fishing, new world events, and even more!
