[p]Revamped Endgame Progression - A redesigned Tier 6 experience with deeper choices and more meaningful ways to advance for PvE and other playstyles. [/p]

[p]Landsraad Revamp - The whole Landsraad has been rebuilt, with new replayable missions and new rewards. [/p]

[p]Faction Ranks - New contracts, rewards, missions, and extended standing/rank progression. [/p]

[p]Specialization Progression - Choose between Crafting, Gathering, Exploring, Combat and Sabotage as you level up your preferred playstyle. [/p]

[p]5 New Challenge Locations - Five of the new overland sites feature fresh open-area challenges that boost faction progress, influence Landsraad control, and earn Specialization XP. [/p]

[p]New Augmentation Progression - Push your late-game builds even further with the new Augmentation Station, letting you enhance Unique Tier 6 gear with powerful augments that customize and strengthen your playstyle. [/p]

[p]5 New Repeatable Testing Stations - The other five new overland locations feature completely new Testing Stations and boss fights with escalating difficulty and increasingly valuable rewards. [/p]

Chapter 3 Free Update: A New Endgame — Built With Our Community

[p]Chapter 3 is shaped by thousands of conversations, suggestions, and bits of feedback from across the Dune: Awakening community. One of the clearest messages we heard was the desire for more meaningful progression and choice – including PvE players - after reaching tier 6. This update sets up the framework to do this, expanding late-game play with deeper choices, shared goals, and more ways for every type of player to continue growing. We’ve rebuilt the Landsraad system to give you more ways to progress and earn meaningful rewards—whether you’re playing solo or teaming up with friends. [/p][p][/p][p]Faction ranks have been extended and we’re introducing two progression loops in the form of Specialization and Augmentations which work together. On top of that, the overland map has been expanded with several new locations, including unique repeatable testing stations featuring challenging boss encounters with scaling difficulty and increasingly valuable loot. [/p][p]And that’s just the start. With several improvements, additions, and refinements, Chapter 3 stands as our largest update since launch, made possible by the passion and dedication of our community. These include a rework of the rapier, and the introduction of two weapons: the Pyrocket and Dual Blades. Story-focused players can dive straight back into the narrative, as Chapter 3 continues the story right where Chapter 2 ended, offering many hours of new story-driven survival gameplay. DLC: The Raiders of the Broken Lands (Paid)

[p]Releasing at the same time as the free Chapter 3 update is Raiders of the Broken Lands, a DLC which also aims to respond to one of the biggest player asks: more stuff to build with! This smuggler-themed DLC comes packed with new content: [/p]

[p]Smuggler armor sets – 3 pieces [/p]

[p]The DLC is available for $9.99 and included in the Season Pass ($24.99), which contains The Lost Harvest DLC plus one more major DLCs. Winter Sale

Public Test Client

[p]As usual, ahead of the update release, you’ll be able to test it on our Public Test Client. This will include most of the update but not the DLC and we’ll hold back the Story content to avoid spoilers. More info on dates for PTC to be revealed later. [/p][p] [/p]

Twitch Drops

[p]Starting today and running until January 14, the last pieces of the Observer Building Set will be available through Twitch Drops.

When Chapter 3 launches, all previous drops (including the ones starting today) will become available from vendors in Arrakeen and Harko Village where you can buy them for solaris. Huge new Dune Awakening update basically reworks the entire endgame, rebuilding Landsraad and overhauling missions

Dune Awakening is a game with so much promise. Set in Frank Herbert's iconic sci-fi world, its sprawling reimagining of the sweltering world of Arrakis, coupled with its colossal sandworms and ornithopters, set the stage for the perfect survival MMO. But it's hardly been smooth sailing for Funcom, with endgame content consistently coming under fire, as well as its PvP experience, which has, as is often the case, fallen victim to waves of cheaters. Coming into Chapter 3, however, the game is getting its "biggest update yet," which overhauls the Landsraad system and deepens several endgame systems.

[/p][p]Check out your free pack on its Steam store page! [/p][p][/p][p] [/p][h2]Store your base and place it back out in its entirety, including all its content with the Base Reconstruction Tool. [/h2]

[p]You can now craft the Base Reconstruction Tool and aim it at your base to store it. Vehicles are not backed up with this new tool. For vehicles you can’t back up in your vehicle backup tool, we recommend disassembling them and storing their parts in your bank or base storage if you’re bringing them with you. [/p]

[p]The process is similar to using the vehicle backup tool: it will immediately remove your entire base from the world, including everything placed directly on or inside it. [/p]

[p]Placing your base works differently from blueprints. The entire base will be spawned instantly, without the need for gathering and manual rebuilding, including all its contents. Additionally, there is a “snap to origin” feature that will try to place your base in the exact location from which you removed it. [/p]

These dedicated individuals will sell past Twitch Drops in exchange for your heard-earned Solaris. The first inventory rotation includes our Chapter 1 Twitch Drops, featuring 11 different pieces from our Observer building set. Some very cool options are the Observer Windows, Observer Columns, and the Observer Hatch. [/p][p] [/p][h2]Cargo Container for Ornithopters [/h2][p]We’ve introduced a new cargo container designed for transporting large quantities of items or materials. You craft pieces which need to be assembled via a welding torch to build this special container. Once put together, it can be used via a carrier ornithopter for transportation. [/p][p]You can access its storage through the bank/exchange interface or your base’s circuits system. [/p][p] [/p][h2]QoL changes and exploit preventions [/h2][p]We are continuously working on quality of life improvements and have added an unstuck vehicle button to get you and your vehicle out of sticky situations. [/p]

[p]To assist you in sticky situations with your vehicle, we have introduced an “unstuck vehicle button” that should get you out to safety quickly. [/p]

[p]We also made it easier for you to find relevant information after a new game update has been released. [/p]
