Small fix today while we work on larger more time-consuming issues, check them out below.

Fixed Issues:

[h2]Wildlands Issues:[/h2]
-Guards in Blackguard's Bastion should now properly target players who attack other players/guards/NPCs.
-There are now five spawn points within Blackguard's Bastion.

[h2]Rabbit Invasion Issue:[/h2]
-The forests with way too many rabbits have been sorted.

[h2]XP Exploit:[/h2]
-The infinite XP exploit has been fixed.

We've been hard at work on even more bug fixes, check them out!

Fixed Issues:

[h2]Server Stability:[/h2]
-Some changes have been made to the servers to increase stability.
[h2]Wildlands Issues:[/h2]
-Full loot in Wildlands should now be in effect, from mobs and players alike.
-Any death in Wildlands results in full loot.
-Wildlands PVP should now work as intended.
[h2]Turn-Off Grass Issue:[/h2]
-The issue of grass remaining turned off after leaving the current area should be solved.
[h2]Pathing Issue for Entities:[/h2]
-Pathing for entities has been improved to correspond with previous server fixes.
[h2]Quest Item Second Issue:[/h2]
-Getting multiple quest items should now also be fixed.
-We have not experienced any Quest Items disappearing since the last patch. Please let us know if that issue persists.
[h2]Mage Tower Stuck Issue:[/h2]
-The 2-hour wait time in the Mage Tower has been removed.
-Going there is still going to give you a 2h cooldown, but you can go down to the foot of that mountain if you want to leave earlier.
[h2]Vocation Issues:[/h2]
-Vocations that have been tested and should work are Enchanter, Elementalist, Infuser, Earthguard, Warden, Ranger, and Druid.
-Vocations on Solitary have been tested again and should be working.
-This cannot be promised for already existing characters.
[h2]Lair of the Exiles Dungeon:[/h2]
-The issue of not being able to acquire the key to open the Black Knights Armory has been fixed.
-However, the key still needs to be acquired to enter.
Balanced:

[h2]Class & Balance[/h2]
Demon Knight
- Barlon's Strike now deals 115% Weapon Damage (Up from 100%).
- Barlon's Whirlwind now correctly uses the weapon's damage info and deals 120% weapon damage.
- Vitality Strike now deals 140% weapon damage (up from 100%).
- Demonic Retribution now deals increased damage to attackers.
Spellblade
- Arcanic Bulwark fixed.
Hunters & Rangers General:
- Hunters and Rangers seemed to be underperforming as opposed to other classes. This was largely tied to bows being innately fast weapons whereas the class kits revolved around high-burst playstyles. We intend for these classes (especially Hunter) to be burst-oriented, so all bows in the game have been adjusted to match it. Players should experience higher damage numbers on Hunters and Rangers going forward.

Loot Table Issues:
-We are working hard to get the loot tables working for each mob.
Guild Issues:
-Guilds were planned for 5 days after launch, but under the current circumstances, that has been pushed back. As soon as we can stabilize everything, work and testing will continue on that. We will make an official announcement for the date when we've started working on it again.
Housing and Property Issues:
-We have found some bugs related to the system and are fixing them as soon as we can.
Ranked PVP and Arenas:
-Ranked PVP and Arenas will also be postponed until we can get everything in order and assess the time needed after the re-launch. (edited)

Patch .1

Hello again everyone! We've been hard at work on a bunch of fixes!

The Quest Item Issue:

-We are still working on resolving the issue of quest items disappearing, but in the meantime, we have implemented a failsafe.
-If you lose quest objects on Solitary Isles, they should be returned to you if you speak to the quest giver.
-This solution is also implemented for the Divine Vocation Quest on Edrivine.
-The return of items should also apply when traveling by ship between Solitary Isles and Edrivine.


Feeling Lost in the Capital:


-If you feel lost in the capital of Edrivine, we have added a helpful item. Speak to Selena in East Harbor, and she will give you a tour map quest that adds markers to the map as long as you have it tracked. If you want to hide all the markers, just untrack the quest until you need it again. If you want to remove it from your quest log, just disband the quest with no reputation penalty. To get the quest back, click the tour map item or speak to Selena again.


Issues Regarding Infamy:

-We are investigating the infamy gain and loss ratio across the game.
-We have adjusted infamy gain when killing NPCs and players.
-Losing infamy upon death by a guard or another player is now adjusted and depends on whether you killed someone or just attacked them when gaining infamy.
-A sleazy lawyer has been added outside each capital to pay to reduce infamy, but it is not cheap.
-Once you reach max infamy, you can no longer pay the sleezy lawyer to reduce infamy.
-Spawn points now work as intended, and if you have 100 infamy and above, you can't spawn in cities anymore to avoid being immediately killed by guards.
-You should default to the closest unguarded spawn point.
-We will further test all these changes to ensure they work as intended for the Re-Launch.


Blocked Paths:

We have unblocked a fair few paths, such as the one outside the blacksmith just outside Edrivine.


Resource Veins:

-We have removed resource veins that replaced a lot of stone all over the mainland. We will manually review each region further, but it should be easier to get around going forward.
-We are still working on the issue of virtually no resources above gold/steel.


Professions & Items:

- Several items that should be stackable were not. This has been addressed. If you discover any other items that should be stackable, please report these to the in-game manager and we can easily fix them.
- Several items used the wrong repair material component, these have been fixed. Please report any other items using wrong repair materials (e.g. discontinued mats) through the in-game report manager.
- Aetherthistle is now removed on gather as expected.
- Rat Skewers now grant the correct buff.
- Leather XP values for crafting have been adjusted so that Leather does not grant more experience than hardened/studded.
- Several leather items that gave cloth-like armor attributes have been fixed.
- Various tooltip fixes (Colors, typos, etc).


Class fixes and tweaks:

- Brawler's Fierce Uppercut and Horizontal Kick abilities now grant a combo point as described.
- Stormshield is now working.
- Guardians have had their damage increased across core abilities, and cooldowns reduced.

Launch Problems, Refunds, and more...

Hello everyone,

Suffice to say that we’ve been overwhelmed in more ways than one with the level of interest in Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore, and we want to start by thanking everyone who has given us support by downloading and playing the game our utmost thanks. There have certainly been some issues, small and large, but your feedback has been and will continue to be essential to helping us make Ethyrial the best it can be.

We wish to apologize for the rocky launch and subsequent issues that we have been having. From login issues to game-breaking bugs, and to even the shocker today that was the duplicate transactions. It is no surprise that each of these issues has made the gaming and launch experience incredibly unstable for all of you, and we wish to make it up to you as best as we possibly can.

First and foremost it is our #1 priority to refund all of the mistaken “double charges” that were made for our new subscribers. This issue caught us totally off-guard, and is due to a technical problem on our end. We are working as hard as we possibly can to resolve this, and cannot apologize enough for it having happened in the first place.

Beyond that, here is what we will do to push the proverbial (and literal, sorry) reset button to fix this underwhelming launch.

On May 12th, the servers will be reset and everyone will start the game fresh. Yes, we are doing a full wipe and essentially restarting the game on May 12th. Up until then, players will be welcome to play to help us identify additional issues, as well as confirm that current issues are resolved.

All players with an active subscription by May 12th will receive 2 weeks of game-time on their account to make up for the time lost between launch and May 12th. Additionally, all accounts will receive a special “I Survived Launch!” cosmetic, which will be a special item to be polled by the community at a later date.

Again, we are deeply sorry for the issues you have all experienced during this launch, and we thank you so much for your patience thus far. We will do everything that we possibly can to make it up to you. We hope you can hang on and let us right the ship and make this the experience we’ve been waiting to deliver for all the years we’ve worked on this project.

For those of you who have offered support and continued encouragement, we have nothing but our sincerest gratitude and heartfelt thanks. Even during times where we struggle, having a community as engaged and passionate as you all are is a truly beautiful thing.
