v0.14 - Crafting and World Followers

  • New Production in Settlements. Pay for crafting items if you bring the ingredients. Price for the craftsmanship depends on reputation with the Settlement, or very high world reputation.

  • New World Followers. 20 new Followers that stay as guests in Settlements and wander between them. Some are on their own missions while some just enjoy life as a "rockstar". Most can be recruited. Some Followers give Buffs/Debuffs if Player stay over the night while they are also guests.

  • New Undead Overlords. Whenever 2, or more, Undead Warlords get close enough during Night, they can merge and spawn with a new Overlord leader. Overlords are immune to Sunlight and the army will be permanent. These armies raise the World Turmoil and is ultimately a problem for the King/Queen to handle. If not stopped they will eventually reach the Dome and start their filthy dark tricks...

  • New Settlement Extensions Hunting Teams/Hunting Lodges. Increase the Fur and Leather production needed for Armor crafting.

  • New Stamina system. However the new Player Dodge system is done but disabled in this release due to a game breaking bug that we found last minute with animations. And this will be enabled in a coming minor patch instead.

  • New Settlement State of Affairs. Whenever there is a lack of Food for the Population a Revolt may occur. This is a ongoing thing until everyone gets Food or other comfort (Extensions like Churches/Cathedral help dampening the turmoil effect). This state can affect the Settlement in many ways. In the future spy operations can be used to impact Revolts.

  • New Citadel Bell. Every 12h the Citadel will now ring the Bell Tower.

  • Dungeon Themes and Generation have been hugely revamped now by Lena. And she is among other things continuing to update all Dungeons now. In this Patch about 40% is changed to have many new loot items such as loot skeletons, barrells, chests etc. And a upcoming patch will have high focus on Dungeons, more to come!


Some smaller but important things to mention:

  • Herald Patterns now have the fields properly colored so Primary has the largest area etc
  • Season changes now trigger a main event that is is starting.
  • Title is now displayed on the World Map.
  • World HUD now has a Tooltip on current Season. Helping to explain the effects of it.
  • Settlement Widgets now correctly display the Faction Name rather than "Lions"
  • Troll and others spawned with Horses, this is now solved and hopefully they don't figure it out again...


And tons of smaller fixes among over 100 item changes (icon changes, price balancing, crafting balancing)

v0.13 - Winter is here

  • Upgraded to Unreal Engine 4.26 preparing for the new Sige Destruction using Chaos system.

  • Winter now has snow on the ground and a Debuff on Movement speed in Winter unless on Roads or in Desert area.

  • New Combat Training from Main Menu. This will be regularly updated with new features in coming Patches, as well as be the first future Multiplayer implementation honing Combat.

  • Using Medicine in Character Panel now Heals the current selected Character.

  • Combat Parry has several changes and updates. Perfect Parry (mirroring directions) stumbles the opponent. Imperfect parry while not using a shield takes partial damage.
    Beasts (Horses, Trolls, Dragons etc) attacks is not possible to parry.

  • Drinking at Tavern now cost money and gives +1 Morale to all Soldiers. Drinking too many rounds gives a debuff.

  • New Resting 8h at Tavern that cost money and fast forward time (2x speed) and gives a Rested buff. Paying for your own room gives a Well Rested buff.

  • Settlement Dialogues now show Player Reputation. Making it easier to keep track.

  • Dungeons now have destructible Barrels that can give loot or spawn Undead.

  • Added Save Game on opening Settlement Dialogue.

  • Food is now generally 300% more expensive.

  • Many more Undead types in Dungeons. Low level Dungeons now also spawn Archers.

  • Polearm damage nerfed generally.

  • Item stack sizes has been reworked and with that the amount you get thru Stories such as starting dialogue.

  • Fixed Seasons not correctly being Saved and restored on Load

  • Fixed Snow Storm during Winter covering everything in white for some graphics settings.

  • And many more fixes not worth mentioning.

v0.12.1



  • NEW Polearms now show the Faction Banner by default (Cloth simulation). In the near future a Banner item need to be Equipped that will have various Status Effects for the wielder.

  • Tons of important Combat bug fixes that has been reported and fixed. Among many fixes are sheath/unsheath weapons, mounted combat/riding, adding more production and recruitment of Polearms/Spear soldiers in Settlement Extensions.

v0.12

  • New Polearm combat. Good reach but stationary heavy attacks. Has a second Mode (pressing Q) with more special attacks.
  • New 1 hand Spear combat. Keep Jabbin' and Stabbin' for days. Fast jabs but bad against larger shields. Also has a second Mode (pressing Q) holding it like a Javelin style.


  • New Healing Bandages that can be bought/looted. Allows Healing over Time in Battles/Skirmishes/Dungeons (default use in combat shift-E). Must be equiped and only 1 Healing item per Character (full stack counts as 1 item).
  • New Buffs/Debuffs with over time effects. Such as Healing of Time and Damage over Time.


  • New level maps for Snow Terrain, also Settlements.
  • Lots of Settlement Production and Item costs changes. Now from Day 3 you should start seeing many more weapons and armor being produced.
  • New Settlement Mission Horse Thief
  • New Settlement Extension in The Citadel - Notary


New Special Thank You list in Credits. For people that helps make the game better on discord/forums. Also a special in-game title is bestowed on the name for everyone.
Kreigon the Battlemaster is the first to be added on the list. For his work on creating combat videos and gathering data to quickly remake the combat system to something we can grow and fine tune.
Anyone creating a in-game Character named Kreigon will get a special Title of Battlemaster.



Lots of smaller bug fixes and to mention some:
  • Shield not correctly equipped when Mounted in certain cases
  • Fixed som padding and text line break in Mission widget
  • ESC/O (options) during combat destroyed steering when closed
  • Player correctly get Road Buff again on WorldMap
  • Event AddPrisonerToPlayer fixes

v0.11

  • Combat is now based on Directional Attacks (and Parry) for 1-hand, 1-hand + shield and 2-hand. Left / Right / Up (Pierce) / Down (cut down). This will be the new base moving forward and coming weeks will add combos and special attacks.
  • Battle HUD is remade to be less intrusive. Also the old round health bars above characters are now remade into bars.
  • Dungeons got many more loot items (on use E) such as old skeletons and graves. Be sure to loot them all.
  • Health calculation revamped. Generally increased with 50-70%. But animals such as Horses and Wolves got nerfed stats and overall have less health because of that. New calculation: 1.5 x (5 x Strength + 5 x Stamina + 10 x Toughness)
  • New Settlement Mission - Ella Moo
  • Arena Dialogue now offer to buy Prisoners
  • Stumble in battle now blend from Root (before Upper Body) and correctly follow left/right.
  • New Kick (default Space keybinding) that will Stumble opponent. Beware of being exposed and non mobile while doing it.
  • 12 new Shield types and meshes.
  • Nerfed Gray Wolves. Now proper target Early Game as intended.
  • Nerfed Undead stats generally. But Warlords and Skeletor Bosses got increased stats for Health.
  • Many new voice sounds for Taunts, Attack, Charge, Hold etc.
  • Fixed Formation Markers to follow Terrain.
  • Fixed Character becoming Prisoner after Player Won bug.
  • Fixed duplicate Follower bug.
  • + many more minor bugs and optimizations not listed
