Lambda Wars Patch October 14, 2019 - 3.12c

We have released a small update.

Maps:
Rebel turorial:
- Fixed the problem when you couldn't fortify first control point.

Sp_valley:
- Some more optimization.
- Now you won't lose if you have lost one billet.

Weapons:

SMG: Difference between shots (delay min. max.) is now 25%.
AR2: Difference between shots (delay min. max.) is now 25%.
RPG: Attack speed changed from 3.15 sec. to 2.99.

Control points:
- 1 lvl: interval of req. changed from 5.62 sec. to 5.63.
- 2 lvl: Interval of req. changed from 3.09 sec. to 3.10.
- 1 lvl: upgrade time reduced from 32 sec. to 27.
- 2 lvl: upgrade price changed:
Reb. - from 40/45 to 40/55.
Comb. - from 40/35 to 40/50.

Attibutes:

Metal:
- Removed scale damage from "plasma" units.
- Damage against light units is now 5.
- Damage against medium units is now 15.

Plasma:
- Increased damage against light units from 35 to 40.

- Increased damage against heavy units from 20 to 25.
- Scale damage against "defence" is now 1.5.

RPG:
- Bonus damage against synth increased from 75 to 90.

- Damage reduced from 45 to 35.

Rollermine:
- Health increased from 120 to 135.

Hunter:

- Radius for splash damage increased from 64 to 96.
- Pop. cap increased from 3 to 4.

Strider:
- Now has 12 bullets.
- Reload will last ~1.4 sec.

Sniper:
- Damage changed from 75 to 80.
- Build time reduced from 45 sec. to 38.
- Changed attack speed from 2.89 to 3.32.
- Preparation time changed from 3 sec. to 4.98.

Elite Combine:
- Build time reduced from 38 sec. to 35.

A regular Lambda Wars balance update has been released. Apologies for the 2-day delay.

Maps:
- Some fixes.

Balance:

- Players now will start with 100 req. (150 before).

Control points:
- Lvl 0: Amount of req. changed from 0.2 to 1.0.
- Lvl 0: Interval of req. changed from 1.5 sec. to 7.5 sec.

- Lvl 1: Amount of req. changed from 1.5 to 2.0.

Lambda Wars Patch - Unversioned, rev. 6697

A small patch has been released. It includes balance and small map changes and fixes.

hlw_citadel:
- Removed billets at the center of the map.
hlw_skyfight, hlw_thicket:
- Fixed sky glitch on high settings.

Lambda Wars Mini-Update - September 26, 2019, Unversioned



A new promised patch has been released.
The patch includes new map changes and a new map - hlw_uzvara by vadimhalo.

To be frank, I had to help vadimhalo with the map a ton due to him being new to mapping as a whole. Though the reason I did it is because the map idea is very unique and involves limited ability of units and abilities.

Lambda Wars Update - 3.12a


Hey. It's been a while.
Didn't really have much time to work on the game, but I did during these past months. Been a long road. I've even implemented some changes that I had to revert due to some mistakes, work on other changes, then had part-time jobs, etc...

And here we are. An update. Finally.

New maps, some new mechanics and more bugfixes.



Changelog:

Maps:
- Fixed bugs.
- New maps:
hlw_skyfight - FFA, 8 players.
hlw_dump - 1 vs 1.
hlw_thicket - 1 vs 1.
hlw_canals - 1 vs 1.

hlw_forest, hlw_slums, hlw_city16, hlw_breakout:
- Updated scrap areas.
- Added fog of war blockers.

Mechanics:
- When a player is defeated, their buildings become neutral and their units die.
- Disabled "kill selected units" and "spread selected units" keyboard commands for Competitive mods
- Canceling construction now returns requisition AND scrap/power.

Fixes:
- Rebel mountable turret deal wrong damage.
- Turret no longer has infinite range.
- Scanner flash no longer affects buildings or control points.

Misc:
- Added unassigned functions for selecting economy (engineers/stalkers) units and combat units (Work in Progress)
- Added 'medaid" attribute for future use with aid stations.
- Changed sv_pure settings so players can't start servers with modded games by default.
