0.1.2-EA : Road Destroyed Highlight & New BGM LIVE

[p]This week's game iteration comes a day late.[/p][p]Our Update Governor was sick. The irony in that sentence.[/p][p][/p][p]Thank God Hell Governor that Souls and Sinners don't need sick leaves. Otherwise we'd need to prepare "sinus" medication.[/p][p]Sin-Us, Get it? Hahaha.[/p][p][/p][p]Alright, I'll jump straight into it and see myself out.[/p][p][/p]

1 - Disconnected Blood Paths Highlights
[p]Spotting disconnected Blood Paths can be a real tricky affair in The HELL, especially if your domain has grown into a sprawling Helltopia of Altars here, Sulking Refineries there, a Warehouse somewhere, and Cauldrons absolutely everywhere.[/p][p][/p][p]To save your eyesight and possibly a trip to the optometrist, We’ve made disconnected Blood Paths truly stand out.[/p][p][/p][p]Any Blood Path NOT CONNECTED to the Purgatoria will now be highlighted in bright, unmistakable RED.[/p][p][/p]

2 - Fresh BGM Tracks
[p]We've added 2 brand new background tracks to play peacefully while you rule over Hell.[/p][p]This update aligns with our ongoing effort to include more audio created by audio creators. We’re gradually phasing out AI generated tracks whenever the community versions feel like the better fit for our players.[/p][p][/p]

[p][/p][p]That's it for now, Governors. Stay tuned.[/p]

Developer Plan Note 1.0.0
Developer Plan Note
[p][/p][p]As part of our continuous post-launch development, here’s what we’re currently planning for the subsequent major updates to The Hell: City Builder of the Dead:[/p][p][/p]
1. Endless Hell — Sandbox Mode \[ LIVE by 24th DEC ]
[p]We’re building an “Endless Hell” mode — a sandbox experience with procedurally generated maps that stretch near-infinite in scope.
Players will be able to build, expand, and experiment freely, processing a perpetual influx of souls while facing mild natural disasters that maintain tension without punishing too harshly.
This mode is designed to let you truly govern Hell without limits — at your own pace and creativity.[/p][p][/p]
2. Building Repair & Recovery \[ LIVE ]
[p]We plan to enable building repair functions for damages caused by Namazu’s Earthquakes and other significant events.
This will give players more control over recovery and sustainability, rewarding long-term management and not just survival through destruction.[/p][p][/p]
3. Improved Game Pacing & Onboarding \[ LIVE ]
[p]We are also adjusting the early-game pacing to offer more breathing space for new players.
Our goal is to make the start of the game less strenuous while keeping the challenge intact — preserving the “Elden Ring of City Builders” spirit, but with more time to learn and strategise before Hell truly tests you.[/p]

0.1.1-EA : Earthquake Destroyed Building Repair Option, Mission and Tribute Info

[p]We’ve been listening closely to your feedback.[/p][p]This week we are releasing two game changing features in efforts to make Hell slightly more manageable.[/p][p][/p]

[p][/p]
1 - Repair
[p]The first thing we have added is a "Repair" feature. We are adding this in by popular request. Any structures destroyed by Namazu's Earthquake will be eligible for Repair. However be prepared to offer up some Sinners for the process, these Sinners will be busy during the repairing process. Check out the picture below or try it for yourself in the game![/p][p][/p][p][/p]

[p][/p]
2 - Rewards & Tooltips Structure
[p]Governors will now have clearer insight into the current Objective and Tribute. Simply hover over the Objective HUD or Tribute HUD to reveal a detailed Tooltip that explains active penalties and rewards.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

[p][/p]
3 - Endless HELL (In Development)
[p]We’re also allocating more resources toward building Endless HELL.[/p][p]The Endless HELL is a massive, unrestricted map where you can construct to your heart’s content.[/p][p][/p][p]Stay tuned for updates as this feature evolves![/p]

Post-Launch Reflection

[p]Hi everyone,[/p][p]
This is MK from Metropolice Studio.[/p][p]We’ve officially launched The Hell: City Builder of the Dead — and yes, the launch wasn’t strong.
Performance wasn’t perfect. Reviews were few. Bugs existed.
But one thing did happen — we finally opened the gates.[/p][p]And to every single player who entered Hell with us — thank you.[/p][p]We read every review, every comment, every curse, and every piece of advice.
We understand your frustrations — optimization, road refunding, balance, music — we hear all of it.
We are already working on these fixes. Not to chase perfection,
but to make this world of Hell truly live and breathe.[/p][p]Our team is small — tired, but never hopeless.
We come from Malaysia, trying to build something different,
something not safe, not easy, not mainstream.[/p][p]The Hell was never meant to be a comfortable city builder.
It is the Elden Ring of City Builders
a world built on punishment, perseverance, and challenge.
But when you finally survive the chaos,
when your city stands amid fire and loss —
it becomes rewarding in the most satisfying way.[/p][p]We know we can do better.
And we will.[/p][p]If you believe in difficult games,
in worlds that punish before they reward,
in city builders that dare to imagine what comes after death —
then please, stay with us.
Write your reviews. Share your thoughts.
Your feedback shapes Hell itself.[/p][p]This is only the beginning.
We will rebuild.
Brick by brick. Soul by soul.[/p][p]— MK & Team
Metropolice Studio[/p]
